Details


Height: 2.5 meters, when raising its front.

Length: 6 meters.

Appearance: Eslanga is a blue, serpentine creature. Its eyes are light-green, and its underbelly is black. Like many snakes, Eslanga possesses large infrared-sensitive receptors on its snout. Its large mouth has a round, pink tongue. When it opens its mouth widely, a pair of large fangs can be seen clearly.

Description: Eslanga lives in snowy mountains, where it moves stealthily through the snow. It can also be found in ice caverns. By flicking its tongue out, it is able to detect the scent of prey. Its jaw can detach to swallow large prey, but such a meal can make Eslanga too heavy to move or become stuck and cause it to faint. It burrows itself in the snow at night to rest. If not in the snow, it will coil itself up — a position in which it can defend itself from all directions. Eslanga is highly territorial and lashes out at intruders with long fangs. Vengeful in nature, it will not give up a chase once it targets its prey or an opponent, no matter how far.

  • Infrared-Sensitive Receptors: Eslanga, like some other snakes, has infrared-sensitive receptors in deep grooves on its snout, allowing it to "see" the radiated heat of warm-blooded prey. This allows Eslanga to still view targets despite being invisible or hiding behind walls.
  • Underside Vibration Senses: Eslanga, like some other snakes, has vibration senses. The underside of Eslanga is very sensitive to vibration, allowing it to detect approaching creatures within 20 meters by sensing faint vibrations in the ground.

    Effect: Eslanga opens its jaws and sprays a thick blue fog of ice. The fog has a height and width of 2 meters. It has a secondary function besides harming a target. Upon impact, it debuffs the Speed of a target for 2 posts. This debuff doesn't need to be sustained. In the wild, Eslanga uses this move to weaken its prey before crushing and eating it.
