Yuurei

Yuurei was a good amount of distance from Astera as he didn't want to cause any damage to that beautiful town. This place was the next area where he was going to be training. His training today consisted of spells that would be far greater than have had ever managed to use before. This brought Yuurei to do this today and he would bring Renji along as they didn't have a ship to leave him in.

This was different from the other spells, so now he had to think about how big the magical circles were going to be when he created them. He would start off by thinking about what kind of action he was going to use to start off his magic. His thoughts were simple, and he remembered what he had done the last time he created a spell that allowed him to move a certain distance quickly.

Yuurei

Yuurei thought about what he was going to do to start the spells off and he figured instead of using two hands to create a circle, he would just use one. That would be simple enough and if he couldn't use one hand then it left him what the other. Now, it was time to put it into practice. The light mage would create a circle with his hand and while doing so he would pour mana out so he could create a magical circle. While doing this he had forgotten to do one thing and it was to think about how big the magic circle was going to be.

Of course, not thinking about it beforehand would backfire as he would watch a magic circle appear, and then soon after it would explode right in front of him pushing him back and onto the ground.

He laughed a bit as should have seen that coming.

Yuurei

Yuurei had to think about the magic circle and how big it was going to be. This would lead to the foundation of all the other spells he was going to work on today. He was thinking about all the magic circles that he had created, and when he would come to realize that the stronger the magic, the magic circles would increase by double the size. He had a smile on his face as he would get up from the ground as he knew what he needed to do now.

He would relax a bit as he didn't want anything messing up because he was excited. When he gathered himself, Yuurei would create another circle with his hand and a magical circle would start to form. While it was constructing, he could see how huge it was compared to his other spells. It was about two meters in diameter from what he could tell.

Yuurei

Yuurei would disperse everything, and he would continue practicing this until he got used to it all. While he was doing this, he was making sure that he was thinking about how to formulate what he wanted the spell to do in the magic circle. This wasn't easy, but he knew he had to do it. He was trying to dash as far as he could but figured that he would be able to do stop anywhere in between. Still, how far would his mana send him? After he thought about it, he would just pour a large amount of mana and see where it would lead him.

The half-elf would start by making a circle with his hand, and right there the magical circle would appear in front of Yuurei. When he saw it, the light mage could see that it was stable, and now it was time to test it out.

Yuurei

Yuurei would step into the spell, and when he did the man would find himself flying into the air, and then falling into the ground. He would hit the ground as he would be sore from the landing. He didn't go in the direction that he wanted to. That sucked and he would turn to lay on his back as that was kind of scary. Still, he had to try again and this time he was going to have to make sure that this didn't happen.

The light mage would do it again as he would make a circle symbol with his hand, and the magical circle appearing in front of him. When he stepped in this time, he had made sure that he placed the direction he was going into using the spell. Yuurei would run into the circle and when he did that, he would find himself flying to his right, but he didn't expect to be going this far and lose his balance.

Yuurei

Yuurei would hit the ground and roll a bit before coming to a stop. He would shake his head as he would get up from the ground as he had to try again. Still, now he knew the potential distance he would be able to go when trying to escape from an opponent or an incoming attack. That was good and he would pat himself down dispersing the dust. Now that he was ready, he would try it again, this time knowing what to expect he wouldn't stop.

The light mage would create his symbol again and the magic circle in front of him would appear. He was glad that he was able to master the creation of the magical circle, but now it was time to correctly use the spell he was creating. The half-elf would run into the magic circle as he was heading towards his left side this time.

Yuurei

Yuurei would find himself dashing through the field he was training in at his full speed across the area. He would come to a stop quickly when he reached his maximum. He would have a smile on his face as he was able to do it this time. It was good that, but now it was time to master the spell. The light mage would look over to Renji who had taken one of his catnaps, and then he would go back to continue training.

The light mage would continue doing the spell as he would be able to do it fine a second time. When he had tried again, he would mess up as the magic circle would send him going into another direction entirely. It was weird, but it wouldn't stop him there as he continued doing his training. He kept trying the same spell, and he would fail every now and then. Still, there was a time when he would do it perfectly fine.

It was interesting, to say the least, but after he continued to do this for hours, the light mage would be able to do the spell repeatedly without failing. It seemed like he was getting used to it, but it was not enough to say that he mastered it. Yuurei would continue to push through it and after a few more hours, the light mage would be able to master his first spell of the day. He would sit down on the ground as he would relax a bit before continuing with the next.

Yuurei

Yuurei had rested enough for him to start the next spell he was going to do. This one was going to be the most dangerous spell he had created, so he needed to be away from everything and anything that he could cause harm to. The light mage would make sure he was fine before thinking about it some more. The spell he wanted to create would have an explosion in the end, but what else would be capable of doing? He was thinking about it, but he figured that before the explosion he would be able to move the bomb once it appeared in any direction.

That would be good just in case he couldn't hit his target he would be able to slam it onto the ground. He wasn't sure how to do all of this as he had done these concepts in separate situations, but never all at the same time.

Yuurei figured that creating this spell would come in steps first before he put it all together and tried to see if it would succeed. He would stretch his arm out in front of him as he would pour mana out of his hand into the magic circle that was being created in front of him. The circle size was going to be the one he was going to use for all the spells he was creating. While creating it he was thinking about how the light bomb would look when it came out of the circle.

He was glad that the magical circle was stable, but now it was for the light bomb to come out. It would indeed, but something wouldn't feel right. As it came out, he could see something bad would happen as it would stop right there, and an explosion would occur. It would bring Yuurei to fly away from where he stood and onto the ground as he didn't put enough mana into the spell.

He would groan on the floor as he was not in the mood to continue being flung around by his spells. Still, it didn't hurt as much, so he figured that he wasn't pouring enough mana into it. The reasoning behind it was simple. A larger Magical circle was needed to hold stronger magic. His other spells wouldn't work with this circle, so he needed to go all out. The light mage would get up from the ground as he figured it was time to try it again.

He knew what his bomb would look like as well, so he had that part filled in. This was good, but now he was going to hope that it wouldn't blow up in his face again. The young man would stretch his arm out in front of him again as he was pouring mana out from his hand.

Yuurei

The magical circle would come out soon after as fast as it could and when he saw this, he knew what was coming next. The light energy would come out of the circle and from there he would see that it was ball-like energy. It didn't stop there as when it fully came out of the magic circle, he could see that it was shaped like a fat star. The bomb he created would go flying straight in the direction that Yuurei had created his magical circle.

The light mage would try and control the bomb when he saw it creating distance between them, and when he tried to change its course, it was too late. He would watch it hit a rock, and then a huge explosion would occur right after. He would cover himself as he could see a bunch of debris coming from every direction. He could barely see, but he could see that this was some crazy mana and power put behind this spell.

He would continue protecting himself until the explosion was finally over, and when he was able to move his arms to his side, he would see the results. The damage done was incredible, and he wondered if he would be able to survive an attack like that. It wasn't something he was willing to try out right now. At this moment he needed to continue with his training. The only thing was how he would get the bomb to follow his motion and move around from its initial trajectory.

He was thinking about what could be done to accommodate the fact that it wouldn't do what he wanted it to do. He figured that he would use some of the mana he poured into the spell as a way of being able to control it and connect it between him and the attack. It could work, but he would have to try it. Then there was just the fact that might have been timing it wrong on the location of where he could control it.

He was preparing himself for the worse, and he would do the best he could to relax before he was ready. He would stretch his arm out in front of him and he would focus. His mana that would be poured out from his arm had two jobs. It would make his spell a powerful one, but the other side was to make sure that he had control to move it wherever he wanted it to go. He would put double the amount of mana he had put into than last time hoping it was the solution to it.

The magical circle would appear, which meant things were going right on track and the star bomb would start showing up. It was the same size as before and when Yuurei saw it flying out he knew everything was going well so far. Still, before it could go too far away from him, he would use his finger to switch the direction of where the bomb was going at first.

He would hope it worked as he was focusing and staring in the direction of the spell. It wouldn't take long for him to notice, but he could see that it was moving to the left now. This was perfect, which made him excited. The light mage would motion the bomb to go up and from there he would motion the bomb to go to the right. This was perfect and he wondered if he could bring the bomb closer to him, which he would attempt as he used his fingers to do so. When the bomb came towards him was excited that it worked but made him nervous when he saw that it was still coming towards him.

Yuurei would motion his bomb to go away from him, and he would sigh with relief as it would do just that. When it was far away from him, he would motion the bomb to move to the ground and soon enough it would hit the ground and another huge explosion would occur. The light mage wouldn't cover himself as he would watch the explosion occur. Once it was done Yuurei would continue with his training for hours and it wouldn't take long, but he would finish mastering his spell.

Yuurei

Yuurei would rest a bit as he was thinking about what he wanted to do next. His favorite spell in his arsenal was the one where he brought down a bunch of energy arrows on those he was fighting against. Still, would he do something basic to make a stronger version of the spell? Yes, he was, and he was thinking about how big the circle would need to be when it appeared within the sky? He figured he would try it out and think about what went wrong when he got a look at it all.

He would get up from the floor as he would look over to see if Renji was fine and napping his life away. That was good because it meant that he had enough time to continue his training. The light mage would stretch out his arm in front of him and he would begin.

When he did this, he would start pouring his man out of his arm as he was creating the magic circle in front of him. When it was formed, he knew that it would go perfectly fine. While he was doing this, he thought about the second magical circle, and he wanted to make sure that it would appear as far away. It was then he would see that the magical circle that had appeared in the sky was away from him to about twenty meters. That was good to know, but for some reason, he felt as if the magic circle was too small for what it should have been.

It wouldn't take long, but the explosion in the sky would occur, and even though he was disappointed about it failing he was glad that it didn't damage anything around him. Still, that wasn't good, and looking at the second magic circle he was doing something wrong.

Yuurei thought about what had gone wrong, and he had to think about how he was going to create the second magical circle. This was something he needed to do before he did the spell again. He had to think about how big he was going to make this magical circle. He was sitting down on the floor now as he was thinking about it. He thought about making it double the size of the magic circle he made in front of him, but was that how it worked with the last arrow spell he used?

While thinking about everything he would remember that the last area of effect spell he created was about four meters in diameter. That meant that this magic circle should be double the size of his previous one. He would nod as he figured he would do his best to construct this magic circle before allowing anything to come out of it.

Yuurei would get up from the ground now as he was ready to try it out. The light mage didn't have to put a lot more mana into this magical circle as he had done in the beginning. He had all the ingredients and now he had to go through the focus and creation. The light mage would stretch his arm out in front of him and he would have mana pouring out of him as he was focusing on creating the second magic circle. He had to take slow with the construction of it and do it until he got used to it.

His first magic circle would appear perfectly fine, and then when he looked up the second one would slowly start constructing. He was being careful with the creation of it and soon enough he would be able to see the end result. It was bigger than it was previously and that was a good thing.

Yuurei would disperse the spell for now and he would continue to do the same steps repeatedly. He wanted to make sure that the construction of the second magic circle was something that he would have down before continuing with the next part of the spell. The light mage continued this for a bit, and he would find himself panting as he was using a lot of energy on training. Still, he had to continue forward that way he would be able to handle things on his own.

Now that he was able to create the second magic circle, Yuurei would do the next thing on his list, and it was to create enough energy to come out of that circle. The light mage would stretch his arm out as he would focus and pour out the mana into the first circle at hand. It would be created quickly as it was as stable as ever.

The next that would happen would be the appearance of the second magic circle. It was as far it could be from Yuurei, and he had a huge smile on his face when he saw that it was made without a problem. That was good because now he had to do his best for what was to come next. The amount of energy he had placed into the spell was amazing, and he would look at the arrows that would appear from the magic circle. It would start shooting out everywhere within the vicinity of the magic circle. He was glad that he had put it in the area where he had used the bomb earlier.

That way the damage he had done would stay in that one area. It would continue to show out as if it were never going to end. The arrows that were created were bigger than the previous arrows made, which was a good thing. It would be harder to dodge them just how he imagined and hoped it to be.

Still, he wasn't done with this spell yet, and that much he knew. Yuurei figured just like all his other spells, he was going to have to train this a bit more before he could move forward onto the next one.

Yuurei would continue his training as he would activate the spell once again, he would be able to go through all the steps perfectly fine. He felt good to see that his spell would work the second time h had done. It was going correct so far. It wouldn't take him long, but he would try it a third time, but this time something was different. he didn't know what it was, but the arrows would cause the magic circle to implode before it could come out. It was something he was getting used to, so he continued with the spell. The light mage knew that he wouldn't be able to succeed by making a few mistakes along the way.

He continued his training for a few more hours as he was enjoying the trial and error that he was going through. It was funny because through all the noise he was creating Renji didn't seem to wake up. Still, his ability to try and get stronger allowed him to push through it all. While training he would come to an end of it as he was able to master the spell that he was working on and relax for a bit.

Yuurei felt that he was almost done with his training, but the next thing he was going to work on were spells that would buff himself. This was something crucial to him as it was what made him strong. The first spell he was going to create was one that would allow him to become stronger and more powerful than he would normally be. The light mage would ready himself as he would get up from the floor. His theme was the more stars he created, then the stronger his buffing abilities were. The light mage would move his arm in front of him and he would concentrate the mana to pour into his palm. His hands were open as he would look at it. He knew what he wanted the spell to do, but it was all about making it work.

The magical circle would form floating into the air as he was hoping that things would be fine.

The stars would start forming above the magic circle as he would see how many of them would be there. That was a lot, and he had to make sure that they all had individually an even amount of power and mana to it. While looking at the stars it seemed like everything was going fine, but soon enough the stars would start dispersing one by one. It would seem like there was something he was doing incorrectly, but he wasn't sure what it was. The light mage had rubbed the back of his head as he was thinking about it. He was on the right path, but he just had to try it again. Yuurei couldn't allow his first attempt to disrupt everything he had worked on today.

The light mage would shake it off and he would pour mana into his palm once again. The magic circle would appear again, and he would be hopeful for what was to come next.

His eyes would continue to focus on his magic circle as he would see the stars forming once again. He would distribute more mana into them evenly and while everything seemed fine, it wasn't. While the stars had completely formed, all sixteen stars would stay floating there without a direction to go to. It wouldn't take long, but they would start imploding right then and there and in front of his face. He figured he would stabilize the stars before being able to direct them towards him. He didn't want to go through any pain as he had previously.

The light mage would put his arm down as he figured he would try it again. While he continued to stabilize the stars, he would continue to fail. He would do this for a couple of hours until he was able to finally find a way to keep them from blowing up or just dispersing into nothing.

Yuurei was ready for the next step now that he was able to create the stars correctly. They needed a sense of direction and he needed to make sure that when he used the spell that it was going to go into him. The light mage, of course, was trying to make himself stronger for the battles to come. Once he was ready, he would open his hand again and he would pour out his mana into his palm and the magic circle would appear floating around. He was happy about this, and he would continue on with the stars appearing altogether. He would wait a bit as nothing would happen to them, which meant that he was used to doing this.

The next part was scary for him, and it was from all the other spells he had trained in the past. The stars began to move, but they had gone haywire as they were going all over the place instead of Yuurei.
