Khalfani †

Once again Khalfani was on their way to meet up with Neal. This was the second time Neal had requested their help. How could they refuse? The last time all they had to do was steal a couple of things. Although a Rune Knight may have gotten involved in the end, it was still fun. That childish thrill Khalfani yearned for sometimes. God, how fast they had grown up. With a black puffer coat and a snap-back hat, the young black masculine individual strolled towards the alleyway they met Neal in before. It didn't take long considering they were already spending some time in Baska. When they entered the dark alleyway, able to see as good as ever thanks to their vampiric vision, there, Neal stood. Looking as suspicious as ever, the man smirked. He immediately asked him what the password was and for a second Khalfani had to think. It was written on the note, so they remembered quickly. "Chocolate", Khalfani said blankly. Neal nodded and told the mage of Chaos that they had passed the test before telling them to follow him. So, the Eternal Nightmare mage did just that. They wondered what this quest would turn out to be considering how easy the last one was. So far, it seemed like it would be painfully underwhelming. The two walked towards their destination in silence. This was a job and Khalfani wasn't really that interested in getting to know him more than a man who paid them. It was that simple.

Khalfani †

The two walked through the city of Baska and continued for about twenty-minutes. It was the longest twenty minutes ever and when the Desiertan was bored, the Desiertan became hungry. They turned corners, walked down streets, then turned more corners and walked down more streets until finally the two of them approached a very strange building. It was shabby and worn down. It smelled of rotten flesh and death. Unpleasant indeed. Neal then turned to Khalfani and told the mage to stay outside while he went inside to handle some business. Was that all? With a nod, the sorcerer turned around with their back to the door as they looked out into the streets. Neal had told them to keep an eye. Apparently he was a man with a lot of enemies. So, Khal did just that. They stood for a couple of minutes before spotting people flash by on both sides of them. One, they counted. Then two...then three. Then as the peered to their left they noticed a group of people in black cloaks. When they turned to the right they noticed another group of people in cloaks. Khal sighed, keeping it as cool as they could. It seemed like they would have to beat some ass tonight. Such a shame, they had just purchased this puffer coat. Suddenly, the door to the building opened and there Neal was. He asked Khalfani what they had saw and one Khalfani reported it to him, Neal simply said he passed. So this was a test. Okay. Khalfani raised an eyebrow before accepting the money. Neal then vanished. He was so damn weird.
