Jikan

Jikan could hardly believe it. Two years. Two years had passed by in a flash. Two years had passed. It felt odd, how much had happened in that felt so small and large to her at the same time. She somehow found herself joining a vagabond of members in a group called Sleeping Calamity. It did not really get to be official...given that the meeting was broken up by a number of Rune Knights hunting down some member that was causing a bit of ruckus before coming. Some jail time, a little bit of an escape. And it seemed that Jikan was officially an outlaw. Not allied with the Kingdom or aligned with them. Which was weird given that she didn't care about them either way and did not need to be approved by anyone.

Well...maybe besides the people she ended up taking under her wing. Jikan thought back to Aurelia...Amira, Klein. Jikan somehow found herself adopting them and raising them as her kids. It...felt nice. And made her even more 'nice' to the people in her guild and town. They were genuinely nice to the kids and somehow, became an extension of Jikan.

It caused her to take the time to help rebuild. To better connect with the people. Because of that, she found that she did not move much in the past two years, staying mostly in the North. And although it was nice, it was also a little too much. Jikan wanted to explore and decided to take a trip out to the west. By herself. Leaving her children back home for protection as well as them wanting to do other things.

She missed them already, but the red headed Amazon was already having a nice time out west. The little hills and greenery were just as soothing as she remembered two years ago. As she walked around she enjoyed letting the sun bath her in its glow.

She was taking the slower route, walking through the plain fields. When she came upon an interesting sight, an item. Different but similar to one she had found before. The red glint of the stone being like the one Jikan had found but had...gotten taken. It was a different shape on it. So...maybe there were more? Either way Jikan would keep it, tucking it into her pocket before continuing on her way.
