The previous training, magic creativity training from Master Getsu, is really exhausting for her. It took over fourteen days or two weeks for her to finally make her way pass the test. That test just got out of hand for Achlys, but after the whole failure in her first week, she finally understood the key to that test. After passing that magic creativity test, Achlys demands a few days to rest before her next training. ”That was just my second test, and I still have two more training to complete. What kind of hell do they prepare for me next time? I can’t imagine it.” Think Achlys about the current situation. It is true that so far, the training she got from Master Getsu is most likely her personal hell. Seems like Master Getsu really knows her well and what she needs to beat that weakness of hers. Achlys was supposed to take the few days break given to her for resting and relaxing, but she can’t really do that. She keeps thinking over and over about the training that she passed, she tries to understand the point and the meaning from those training. She’s trying to find out the goal of each training so she can understand more about her weaknesses according to Master Getsu’s judgment.
She believes, by understanding her weakness, she should be able to find a way to cover those weaknesses. So she ended up having a few days of physical rest, but her brain never stops thinking about it and trying to figure it out. That process ended up making her feel tired and not get enough rest even after a few days. Plus the thought about her next training takes some of her energy as well. She really needs to find out how to not think about that stuff, at least not for now or she will never feel like she gets enough rest and never be ready for the next training. She tried a few things that usually can help her to relax and ease her mind, but it doesn’t work really well. The thoughts in her head still haunted her pretty bad. The thing is, this time, she doesn’t have a clue about the next training, not a single clue about it and since the last training was really out of the box, something she never imagined before, that makes her overthinking situation even worse.
It took her over a week to finally feel easy about the situation, and not only about it. The reason why she can finally chill her mind is because she already succeeded in addressing and noted some of her weaknesses that she already knows. She is also able to understand the goals from her previous training, this understanding comes from her conversation between her and Master Getsu. That conversation happened in the karesansui garden on the main house building. She spended some of her time thinking in the karesansui garden until one day, Master Getsu saw her being alone there. He decided to come and talk to her “What bothers your mind lately Achlys? You seem confused and tired, you should use your time to rest instead of spending it like this.” ask Master Getsu as he walks closer to Achlys. ”oh, Master Getsu. I can't rest, Master. I keep thinking about the training. About what I have to learn from the one I've passed, and about what the next training will be. My mind can’t rest and the thoughts in my head keep bothering me.” Answer Achlys.
“There is one point I can tell you Achlys, the main thing I want you to learn is patience. Those training might look hard at the beginning, but your patience is what brings you here this far. It’s good to think quickly, to read the situation quickly, trying to get some solutions quickly, but there is the last thing you need to understand and it’s patience. Those thinking processes might be quick, but when you’re about to make your decision, you have to be patient. Considering every possibility from every choice you have is necessary, and if you speed up that process too much, you might end up making a wrong decision. Not everything in your life needs to be done quickly, some things need more time to grow and to succeed, so choose wisely which process you want to speed up.” That explanation from Master Getsu opened up her eyes, and she understood it instantly. It makes sense, the first training 5 days of fasting, working close to food every single day is not only to train her spirit will, it’s also to train her patience. If her spirit is strong enough, and she knows the process and why she has to go through the process, the next thing she needs to do is go with it and be patient. If she knows the goal, she should know that in the next 4 days after day one, she will be allowed to eat again and she needs to patiently wait for that. The same thing to her second training the magic creativity. If she’s not patient enough to wait and understand the assignment, she might end up doing that training forever.
Achlys can say a single word when she realizes that Master Getsu’s explanation was right, she stays quiet for a while. “I want you to remember this Achlys. If you ever face someone or something that is stronger than you, or bigger than you, or out of your league, all you need is patience. Don’t rush things randomly, get to know the situation and the enemy, if you can do this part quickly, it’s good. But when you’re going to make your decision, don’t rush it.” Says Master Getsu as he smiles at Achlys and then walks away from that garden leaving Achlys alone again in there. Master Getsu's words are still stuck in her head and she keeps thinking how she can't understand something that is actually easy to understand, something that can be clearly seen in front of her eyes. But thanks to Master Getsu, Achlys can finally have a good rest for a while.
Knowing the goal of Master Getsu’s training for her, Achlys finally feels a little bit calm and doesn’t worry too much anymore. That helps her to rest her body and her mind to the point where she kinda forgot that she is here for the training. Day by day has passed and no sign of the next training for Achlys, this situation makes her enjoy her time here in the house of the Kyoyama Family. Until one day during the dinner that was served in her room, she was enjoying her meal when suddenly she felt really sleepy and fell asleep. But when she wakes up, she is not in her own room, but somewhere she has never seen before. She woke up on top of a rock in a cave with no light source except for one torch right next to her. The rock under her is surrounded by water, it seems like a cave on a cliff that has their entrance on water level or something. ”Where the hell am I? I remember I was having my dinner in my room, when suddenly I fell asleep? Wait, what the hell happened?”
Achlys is really confused with the situation she’s facing right now, but she remembers what Master Getsu told her about reading the situation quickly but making a wise decision patiently. So Achlys starts to think and try to read the situation, the fact that she woke up in this unknown place for her means she was sent here by someone, or maybe ”Ouch! Nope it hurts.” She screams as she tries to pinch herself. ”I don’t even know how it feels to get pinched in the spirit realm, why did I do that.” Think Achlys to herself. ”So where am I, and how can I get here? I was in my room in the Kyoyama Family house and only certain people have access to get there, which means I was moved here by someone in the family or works for the family. IS THIS MY THIRD TRAIN?! NO WAY! FOR REAL?!” Achlys feels a little bit shocked when her brain finally clicks to the current situation. She can believe that this might be her third training, and even worse she got no explanation about the training at all, until she got distracted by a dimmed light in her pocket. It’s the Sphere of Chordeva, the sphere given to her from her mom that turned out to be her family relic.
Achlys takes that sphere out of her pocket, and that sphere slowly glows brighter, but from that sphere, a small amount of black smoke keeps flowing out. That black smoke keeps flowing out from the sphere until it finally forms a tiny devil figure, the tiny devil figure of Chordeva. ”Finally I can see you straight away, face to face. Well technically this is not my real face but you got what I mean. You really look like Kimiko, I can’t believe she uses that last source of power in order to save your life. That spell almost forced me to use all of my magic. That’s why after that last spell she cast, I wasn’t able to communicate with you even when you held the sphere directly. It took me long enough to gain back all my magic but you weren't around until that time you held the box and I can communicate with you.” Achlys is once again confused by the situation happening in this cave, and now she gets to see the tiny figure of Chordeva? The devil inside the sphere given by her mom. Everything just keeps going crazy and crazy but she can remain calm, at least not showing to others that she is actually panicking about the current situation in her mind.
”Wait a minute, so you are the devil Chordeva? The one that trapped in this sphere?” Ask Achlys to make sure that she heard her right. ”Yes,” Before she can explain more of her answer, Achlys already throws another question at her. ” You are the one who talked to me in my head? For real? You are the one who told me to go all the way to Joya and meet my family? Kyoyama Family?” ”Calm down. Yes I am Chordeva, the devil trapped in that sphere by your ancestor a long time ago and also the one that talked to you straight to your head. I told you to go here and meet your family, and now I’m talking to you to hear your part of the deal.” But Achlys seems a little bit confused about what Chodeva said to her. ”How come you get out of that box and talk to me like that? Has my mom passed through this process as well? Deal? Ah right, the deal, I know what kind of the deal I want with you. I have a few lists about that, first of all, I want you to make me become the Queen of Joya.” Achlys suddenly stopped by Chordeva. ”Hold on, I am a devil not a genie, you know the difference? Genie grant your wish, I only grant you some of my power based on our deal, but you have to do all the work by yourself. Come on, quit joking around, let’s make this quick so I can decide if I will make a deal with you or not.”
Achlys’s face suddenly changed from the normal face, her daily base face, to her serious face mode on. ”It’s true that I want to make a deal with you, and that is also part of my big plan, but there is something I need before I get to that part of the business. I want you to tell me more about my mom, a story you both face together or anything. Since she was the previous holder of Sphere of Chordeva, I’m pretty sure you and her have many stories together, and you might be the one who knows her better than anyone, maybe even better than herself. So I want to hear some of that story and know more about my mom.” Achlys told Chordeva. Chordeva feels a little bit shocked with her answer, it takes her back to the old days where it was Kimiko making a deal with her.
”Besides your appearance that is similar to Kimiko, you're also as unpredictable as she was. Your request is as crazy as your mom's. If you ask me to tell you stories about her, she asked me to tell her stories about me. How crazy is that? To other people and even the Sphere holder before her, I was just a tool to make them stronger and help them get what they want and that is the exact reason why your ancestor trapped me in that sphere. But, your mom was different, she told me that she wanted to know more about me before she made the deal with me and I ended telling her the whole story. After three days we were here, the people of the Kyoyama Family came in and were supposed to pick her up, they thought she failed to make a deal with me. But when they got here, your mom and I were laughing and enjoying our time together telling each other’s story, so she told those people the situation and told them to wait for a while until we made our deal. Your mom was a very good woman, she knows that her power comes from the devil but she can use that power to do good, until she met your father and decided to use my power less often than before. Well, on the last night you saw your mother, I was the one who granted her the power to turn into something like a demonic creature and help her, giving you a chance to run away. That night also became the last time I could sense her existence. Like I told you before, granting her that kind of power takes almost all of my magic, that’s why I can’t communicate with you for so long. But now we’re here and this is your turn to make a deal with me. I can tell you all the story I know later if we had the deal so let’s get to business, I hate this place since it brings back many bad memories.
”I have some list of how you can grant me your power, I want a power as big as what my mom get back there, and also I want you to protect me give me full protection, I also want you to help me out on my daily bassist with something small it’s all fine, maybe give me a little bit of money? Before you cut me off, I want to tell you, I don’t care which of that offer you agree on, any of that will be good for me. But I need you to make a deal with me because I might want to hear more stories about my mom and about you.” After Achlys said that, the wind suddenly blew hard and turned off the torch next to her and she passed out. When she woke up, she’s back in her room and was confused with the situation until she heard someone in her head. ”Congratulations for making a deal with a devil, with me.” As the small figure of Chordeva showed up in front of her.
