"Incredible..." The commander of Paradise mumbled as he zoomed through the sky beside his partner Yori who had been using Anga the gryphon to remain above ground. About 30 men and woman steered the horses on the mountains on each side of the duo. Xena the leggro had been holding on tight to the Dragon Slayer, her curious eyes soaking in the sight to behold. The duo soared through the skies, beneath them hundreds of giants stormed forward, mindlessly, seemingly aimlessly, but with one goal in mind; devastation. The creatures had been consuming everything in their path, grabbing whatever human being they could find and tearing through their bodies with their razor sharp teeth. Roars of agony filled the region of Sigehart Mountains, children fled in hopes of surviving long enough to be saved, women grappled the bottom of their blouses in hopes that they wouldn't trip over their garments.

In a matter of minutes, Sieghart Mountains had become a death zone. The former vampire winced at the rivers of blood but his eyes remained glued onto the destruction beneath him. It would be a dishonor to the people who had been stolen by the manic giants to look away. To clarify, the death and despair wasn't incredible, but the bearers of the violence themselves were magnificent. Whomever created such majestic beasts had undoubtedly succeeded in making a threat just as, if not more formidable than the Seraphin and Demons. Khalfani feared that if he blinked he would be next in line to be sent to hell. It could all be over with ease. All of his dreams and aspirations would be flushed away should he avert his attention to anything other than their newfound enemies.

Hardly any time had passed since the two flying Paradise Dawn guild members left the base of operations, alas, he couldn't help but wonder if his comrades had been faring well. Brone, the leader of their ground warriors, had been in charge of overseeing the guild's hall thus he indisputably had the heaviest task of all the captains. A mousy colored cloak with the guilds sigil etched into the fabric flailed over his shield beneath Xena upon Khalfani's back. Post haste, both Adventurer and the Spellsword would reach the center of Sigmundir passes. The Black Panther had a hypothesis, to put it mildly. Judging from the conduct of these colossal creatures, they had to be controlled by an entity much greater. Considering half of the titans maneuvered towards one side of Sieghart Mountains and the other half trudged towards the city of Rush Valley, it was only logical that somewhere in Sigmundir passes was the source of this calamity. Therein lies the barer of this chaos.

The Sun Eater transposed his gaze onto Yori, sighing before speaking. "I know that for whatever reason you aren't exactly fond of us, that's why I brought you along. The truth is, I don't know how dependable you are. Guess that's my fault for inviting you into our home without knowing much about you. Any halfwit can see that you could give two fucks about any of us, but...whether you like it or not, today that has to change. We won't survive this if we can't trust each other. Failure and incompetence is not an option so just follow my lead and we might just come out of this alive." Khal remarked prior to fishing a spliff from out of his pocket. "And if you die... I'll revive you and kill you myself." He announced dourly with a devilish smirk tapping the end of the rolled herbs and lighting it with mana.

Stuff:

"Really? It's because we use magic? That's interesting. Well, in any case I guess all is well considering every human in this world is capable of using magic in one way or another. It isn't the dark ages anymore so by saving humanity you're only keeping what you hate most alive." The Dragon Slayer said with an almost perplexed expression.

Khalfani landed and gazed upon the sea of giants for a split moment. Xena wobbled over to Anga and climbed onto his back. The blood thronged air sent a chill down his spine. With a sigh, the panther turned to face his comrades who were all on horses awaiting his command. Although they had landed on the mountains and were head level to the giants, they were far enough from the path in which mindless creatures walked, which meant that they were safely out of reach. Swiftly, the commander counted the archers. 11. Less than half were archers, this was principled. The rest of the soldiers were warriors, they fought using close ranged equipment. "Alright..." the rogue prince began, "Archers, line up along the passes. The eleven of you will aim for the eyes, as many eyes as you can. If we blind em, this'll be easier. Taris, you captain this task alright?" The pink headed woman nodded and awaited the rest of Khal's commands.

"Attack squad, line up on the edge of the passes. You don't move no matter what. Archers will aim for the eyes, I'll kill as many as I can and knock the ones I can't kill over and you all will finish em off. We're head level so unleash hell. Sieghart Mountains is our home, the North is our region and we will not allow these brainless fucks run us out. Got it!?" The soldiers saluted. "Yori, you're interim captain of the attack squad for now. Stay on the ground." Khal turned to Yori and patted his shoulder. Before pushing off and zipping through the air, he whispered to the mage hunter. "These warriors have lovers, children, friends...and they're all capable of using magic. I'm trusting that you'll make sure to lead them to victory." The Commander said before kicking off and flying through the air towards the river of giants. With his Dagger unsheathed and his shield shifting from his back to his hand.

There it was; the first of the giants with a smile on its face. "GRAAGHHH!" The Light eater roared like a true dragon, angered by its seemingly delighted expression. Khalfani gripped his dagger and stabbed it directly in its eyes before slicing it across its neck, landing on i's shoulder, dashing to the one across from it, and doing the same. When battle came, he was an entirely different person. More lively, more untamed, wilder.

Stuff:

This all happened so fast I wasn't able to figure out a plan more efficiently than this... Khalfani thought as he darted from shoulder to shoulder, slicing the giants necks or eyes whilst his comrades stayed behind and shot their arrows at the eyes of the giants. Yori had given direct orders, that much could be heard with the helmet he had been wearing. The Obsidian titans helmet gave him beyond perfect vision and hearing. The giants fell one by one as Khalfani had been able to slice and dice straight through them. Everytime one of them fell, half of their bodies would land onto the mountains were the team of soldiers would finish them off. The titans were too big to fall completely onto the ground. On a while, Khal had calculated all that. Yori was on the ground handling the feet. It was the smartest position for him to take considering he wasn't as strong as the commander yet. They're too slow to react on time. If I keep moving like this then I'm sure we can clear the passes and find out where they're coming from. With the giants focused on Khalfani, it looked like most- if not all of them would make it out alive until...


The world stopped. For a brief moment Khalfani was taken from the battle and brought to the depths of hell. A scream from one of his comrades brought him to the bloody wars of Desierto. The godsblood turned his head to see one of the giants holding a squirming warrior of paradise. The entire squad paused for a moment, watching the scene unfold. The commander's eyes widened, his iris's glued onto the eyes of the comrade who was seconds away from being consumed. The fear in his eyes was nothing like the slayer had ever seen before. With a grunt, Khalfani was brought back. If he went to save this man then he would be putting the rest of his squad at risk, but if he didn't then what kind of man would he really be? The giant had dropped the man in his mouth and began crunching. Dammit, he thought. Suddenly another giant stretched out its hand as the warriors of Dawn watched the scene take place. Khalfani pushed off of the shoulder he had been standing on and flew as fast as he could to his petrified allies.

His dagger sliced clean through the wrist of the giant as blood splattered all over his body. There was no way he could have saved his eaten comrade. Nobody could have, but now was not the time to grieve. Angrily, the commander turned towards the warriors and growled. "Get it together! We still have a mission to complete, unless you're all ready to die!" He said as the warriors shook themselves back to reality. Khal turned back and flew towards the sea of marching giants once more, but the screams didn't end. That split moment of hesitation opened space for the giants to capitalize off of. One by one the soldiers were being picked off. However, the rogue prince understood that he had to find the source. So, once again, he was darting from shoulder to shoulder slicing and dicing. Up ahead he could see a different giant, this one had long hair and a nonchalant expression. Their body was a different color too. Once it locked eyes with Khalfani it roared. Dammit Yori, you better still be alive down there. he thought.

Stuff:

Yori was indeed alive. His words could be heard from where the commander was despite how high up he was. Still, Khalfani could not focus on anything other than what was in front of him for one simple reason; there was a greater threat. Through the wave of giants marching towards the guild hall, Khalfani saw a different giant. They seemed to be a femme with a vendetta. Khalfani darted to the next giant, landing on its head to get a clearer view, however, the special giant had already made eye contact with the demi-human. He could feel his feline instincts taking over, his fangs revealing themselves as he sensed the danger radiating from the lady giant. She was not here to play, that much was clear as she began to run through all of the giants, knocking them down two by two. She was coming in so damn fast it was hard for Khalfani to react in time. Her goal was obviously the commander in charge, he was probably the biggest threat in her opinion but even if he would die today there was no doubt in the panthers mind that his comrades would meet victory.

"Hmph." He pushed off of the head of the giant as the lady beast approached, swinging her hand downward onto the giants head and completely crushing its skull just as he soared off. Levitating in the air, Khalfani turned quickly to face his new opponent but she was swifter then he initially anticipated. By the time he turned to face her, Khal was met with a giant fist to his body, sending him soaring through the sky and crashing into a platoon of Paradise Dawn members. This monster didn't seem to give a fuck about her lackeys. Perhaps it was because there were enough of these monsters to wipe out an entire nation no matter how many of them perished. Khal pushed himself up, wincing at the pain of his bruised ribs. "Oh, you're different. I see." He scoffed as he wiped the blood off of the crevasses of his lips. It seemed he would have to use Medusa after all, especially if this giant was this much of a threat. It wasn't wise to take any chances.

Stuff:

There had to be a way to end this, Khalfani thought. They knew that going up against a giant like that would probably be their downfall, so there had to be some other way...something they weren't seeing. As he looked to his right he could see Yori hovering above just before diving into what could have been described as the pits of hell. This whole scene was hell, a hell Khalfani no longer wanted to face. With a grunt he soared into the sky above the Giant, moving towards his previous location before being smacked away. The commander raised his hand and touched his face, causing a magic circle to appear and granted him thermal vision. Something would surely come of his attempt to scout the passes. Something had to- "There!" He said aloud. Hidden between two rocks was a little girl who had seemingly been producing the giants? What the hell was going on? There was no time to think, the titan that had smacked him was glaring right at him.

A plan quickly came to mind, but it really wasn't even a plan. A Blitz would have to do the trick because the giant was standing right in front of the little girl. For a moment the dragon slayer could only stare at his target. She had what seemed to be a translucent crystal protecting her, acting as some sort of portal for the monsters to come out of. Hopefully it could be broken because if not, he was afraid he would have to do something he may have not been fully prepared for. The screams of his comrades continued to fill the air, sounds of skin being pierced and bones being crushed sent a cold chill up Khalfani's back. There was no more time to waste.

With a roar, Khal zoomed downward at max speed. The giant with her eyes set on him readied herself but she was too slow. She swung her arms to capture the Desiertan Dragon but she was no match for him, not when he was so small and agile. In no time Khalfani was at the bottom of the passes directly in front of the vessel of destruction. "Alright." He said. "Ha!" He punched. Nothing happened. "Rggh." Taking a deep breath he punched again, and again and again...and again. But nothing happened. There was no other choice. There was no more time. Sighing, he closed his eyes for a moment. The giant who had been targeting him turned around and stretched her arm towards him. With one final blow, Khalfani punched forward, releasing a blast of light energy that completely obliterated the crystal but not only that, the attack fried the girl inside alive.

Suddenly the Titans stopped in their tracks, each falling to the ground only seconds after stopping. Khalfani heard the crashing noises but he was far too traumatized to bring himself to see the spectacle. The Titan's hand stopped right at the back of his head, only inches away from crushing his skull. She too fell to the ground. The worst of it all was this little nameless girl unconscious, lifeless, cold, on the ground. Khalfani dropped to his knees and reached for the girl, pulling her into his chest as he began to weep.


"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." Khalfani cried.
