Sho sat down in front of a fire with a bunny roasting over it. It was lunchtime for Sho and an unfortunate bunny had the pleasure of becoming a meal. With careful hands and a bit of patience, he was able to catch some unsuspecting bunny off guard in the forest under the cherry blossoms. Now the bunny was roasting calmly over a fire. It wasn’t going to be long before the meat was cooked to a tender masterpiece.

Sho fancied himself a bit of a chef when it came to good eating. Even if he was out in the wild he made good meals from next to nothing. He sprinkled some salt over it to season the rabbit. He sat back down on the stump turning the spit roast to distribute heat evenly. He then pulled it off of the fire and pulled a piece of the meat off the bone. It was so tender Sho couldn’t help himself but dig in. While eating he kept a keen eye out for any wildlife or person trying to muscle in on his lunchtime. He tore into it like a ravenous beast, washing it down with some rum from his flask. Little did he know he was going to encounter someone who would give him a run for his money.

Tempris appeared out in some sort of opening that did not really matter because fate has dictated that a new order was needed. See, she was asked to join a new guild and well she was not sure what her answer was going to be. On one hand, she did like the idea of being around others. On the other hand, she hated how every group she got with ended up leaving her abandoned. Karisa's group was a little bit different since she had a little bit of warning but that did not change the fact that it hurt. It was like her heart stopped but the girl continued on smiling as now she could complete her mission. However, now was not the time for that. It was here that she walked up to a man at a campfire. It was not just any man but one of Seika's friends Sho. She met him in an ED event but that did not matter. What matter was how strong he was.

"Sho! Seika wants me to join this guild but I am tired of being in places with weak people who just inhibit the things I care about. So... Prove to me that joining you guys wont be wrong." She stood across from him one meter away from the camp fire. She lowered her mask down. She was wearing her cloak and her weapons were in her pocket dimension in her necklace. She then held out her hand and her weapons appeared out of her pocket dimension and the girl readied her self for the man's attack.

She had all her gear.

Sho was busy chowing down on his rabbit lunch before someone appeared before him. It was Tempris, she approached him from the front so Sho could see her. He was too busy chewing to greet her so he just waved as she approached. He swallowed the food in his mouth but before he could speak Tempris had something to say. She seemed to be worried about joining a guild filled with weak individuals. It was something that caught Sho completely off guard. He took a swig of his rum before replying. “Seika only chooses those who are strong to follow him. But if you want proof I can provide that.” Sho finished off his rabbit as Tempris seemed to prepare for battle. Her gear appears out of a pocket dimension. Sho saw that kind of thing. It was an innovation of magic and technology. Something to admire really. Sho took a big swig of his rum to prepare himself for the incoming battle. Sho was excited to fight Tempris for a multitude of reasons. One was that she was pretty well known throughout the land. Another one was that she choose him to prove Seika’s choice of members.

“Give me a second let me get ready.” He put the flask away and kicked some dirt over the fire to put it out. His gear was sitting on the ground next to him. He prepared himself by equipping his gear. First, he slipped on his plated leather vest. Next, he affixed his saber to his side and placed his helmet on his head. Being in such close proximity Sho’s options were limited, he had a tree to his back and a small strong contender right in front of him roughly one meter away. With nothing but a dead fire in between them. Sho smiled and removed his saber from his left side with his right hand. He clicked the button on the handle causing the blade to come alive. A loud humming sound could be heard as the blade was given form. “You look ready so let's get started shall we?” With that said Sho stepped over the fire to close the gap between them, he slashed from left to right aimed at her mid-section. Before quickly preemptively jumping backward towards the tree. With a landing crouch, Sho jumped with all of his might launching him several meters into the air landing on the tree branch above.

Tempris placed her sword on her shoulder waiting for the man to put on his gear and prepare for the fight. Unlike her fight with Ika, she had nothing to prove. She wanted to truly learn how strong this Rune Knight was and thus there was no need for cheap tricks. That's not to say she was not ready for a cheap trick herself. Her shield, which was attached to her right arm, was itching to repel the man. Her sword on her shoulder was held in such a way that she could easily slam it down and cut the man should she find the need to. Her magic was charged ready to purge the man of his sins. When the man threw dirt onto the fire, she took one step back.

The man said he was ready. Then he stepped forward and swung his sword in an attempt to assault her right side. She moved her shield up to intercept the weapon and nullify the attempt to hurt her. Then she gripped her sword ready to strike however then man just jumped back and fled to the tree. She held her sword ready to strike. "Jumping into a tree... You are already so much talker than me Knight." Even though she spoke, her weapon would be ready to come down and her shield would be ready to come up and she would react accordingly even though she was talking. Should the man start talking, she would take one step back. She did not want to fight in such a cluttered environment given her size and weapon.

The branch was just large enough to stand on, Sho brandished his beam saber in his right hand. Part of him hoped that Tempris would have chased him into the tree which would have made things really interesting fighting in a tree. Alas, Tempris held firm on the ground only speaking calmly, not taking the bait to follow him into the tree. “Gotta get some distance between us anyways, couldn't back up so I went upward!” he said with a devilish grin. He noticed Tempris would take a step back, only a step back still within Sho’s range, roughly a meter and some change away. Sho had an idea, a crazy one at that but he had hoped it would work. He looked upward for a moment, nothing but a moment a millisecond glance at the branches above him. With his beam saber, he cut the branch above his head causing it to fall to the ground. Before it could even leave the upper reaches of the tree as it was sliced off Sho flexed his left hand causing the gravity in the surrounding area, four meters exactly, to fluctuate. The tree branch was now suspended in midair. The branch is roughly half a meter in length with a few inches in circumference.  With a motion of his hand, the branch flew at breakneck speeds directly aimed at Tempris’s midsection.

To Tempris this would appear as a harmless branch but Sho knew better. As the branch flew through the air Sho prepared himself for another attack. He would wait till the branch reached its destination and explode; he crouched down and pushed off the branch launching himself into the air. He brandished his blade by holding it over his head as if he was coming down with an overhead slash at Tempris’s location. This slash would come after the explosion depending on how Tempris reacted. Sho put himself at a disadvantage by doing this. At least he would appear to be doing so from Tempris' point of view. Sho had a few tricks up his sleeve.

He seemed confident though she did not see why he needed to run away. His initial assault brought him in melee range but then he backed off at the tree. It was weird. She wondered what tricks he actually had in his heretical mind. If only she had a crazy super cool ability that allowed her to see through everything and know everything about her opponent.

When Sho looked up, Tempris swung her sword vertically downward from her shoulder. A magic circle would appear centering under Sho just below the branch. Given Sho was a little over 1 meter away from Tempris, it would take a little over .05 seconds for the spell to activate. With that time span, The spell should be expanding out as the man began his spell motion in a 16 meter Diameter explosion of white and blue holy fire.

If Tempris was able to see the magic circle from the man's spell motion, then she would raise her shield and prepare to deflect whatever attack he sent at her.

However, since her spell should have activated first, that would mean that her spell would reach her and thus create a full body shield over Tempris and her gear. Also since this would go off before his spell, the AOE should also swallow up his spell.

Whether she saw the spell or not, she would then start running to her left circling the tree and trying to maintain the her current distance she had from it in the beginning. Also if something got in her path, she would path around it adding distance between her and the tree.

The user makes a vertical swinging motion as if holding a weapon or a vertical swinging motion with a weapon. This creates a magical circle 4-Meter Diameter magic circle under the user. A 16-Meter Diameter magic circle is created at the target location. When the spell activates an 8 meter radius explosion of white and blue holy flames purify all who are inside the magic circle cleansing them of their sin and heresy. This Heals the CON of everyone in the area by 1 S-Rank.

Overshield: The user can choose to cast their healing spells as a full-body shield on allies that is of equivalent durability as the rank of the healing spell. Each spell must be sustained for the relevant cost.

Looking back at Tempris her sword arm dropped down causing a magical circle to appear in the immediate vicinity. An explosion erupted in an instant. Sho found himself at the epicenter of the attack with no way out. All he could do was jump out of the tree to try and lessen the blow. He hit the ground running. The explosion went off and caused his armor and helmet to seemingly evaporate into nothingness. The armor took the brunt of the damage thankfully but he did not get out unscathed. Now in his bare clothing and his saber flickering due to taking damage he was not in a good spot. He was now seeing the extent of Tempris’s powerfully. She was unharmed by the explosion and began to circle the tree trying to get a better position to attack no doubt. Sho found himself armorless with a half-dead light saber trying to regain his bearings after taking that initial attack. Sho hit the ground running after taking the full brunt of the attack.

He knew not to cast anything to avoid it getting swallowed up by the initial explosion. After landing, Sho hit the ground running to avoid any more possible attacks that he couldn’t avoid. Sho kept a healthy distance of 15 meters away from Tempris as she circled around the tree, keeping her one-meter distance from the tree. With a flat palm Sho aimed it at Tempris’s location trying to get a quick spell in. A magic circle appeared on his hand causing a black orb to appear. He would fire it at Tempris, should she try to evade suddenly he would close his hand causing the orb to expand to it’s maxed size in an instant. Sho kept running around in a wide circle to keep Tempris guessing while launching the attack. The name of the game was to keep moving no matter what.
