So it turns out Oak city didn't have the rune that Khalfani was looking for. Perhaps the rune was just great at playing mind games, which was funny considering Khalfani was someone bestowed with the insight of the World and a high amount of intelligence. Maybe someone already had the rune and that pulling vibe they continued to feel was an illusion, maybe even curated by someone who just liked to play games. The prince was growing tired, becoming frustrated and losing hope, but they had faith in themselves above all else. They knew that they would be able to find a Rune if they just kept searching. Nothing could escape their eyes. So, they rode on their gryphon towards the center of the country; Crocus. It was the capital of Fiore, somewhere they would have never even stepped foot safely if they were still in Eternal Nightmare. Luckily they had gained the trust of the government. So, perhaps they would be able to rest here for a while.

As they flew towards the capital though, they realized that it may have been better to travel somewhere a little less populated. So, instead of landing, they simply continued flying through the country of Fiore. It was annoying that these Runes couldn't be found in any of the other countries, but there was no time to ponder on such meaningless things. The sky was clear, the land from above was beautiful. Still, there was something about being in this country that always made them feel disgusting. Perhaps it was just the amount of pollution in Fiores air. Whatever it was, it would only last until the prince found the Rune. There were other things besides rune hunting that the prince needed to do, but this was definitely most important. No doubt there were other hunters out there trying to acquire a portion of its power. There wasn't any time to waste. Gryphon was getting tired though. Khal patted their loyal steed as they soared beside the avian creatures in the sky, comforting them in case they were feeling anxious. Next up was the South. The South had to have the Rune, it would make absolutely no sense if they travelled to 3 different regions and they couldn't find a single one.

It was funny though, because as they soared over the east they realized they couldn't feel that pulling feeling they had felt when they were close to the other runes. As they moved closer to the Southern region though they could feel it, even from this high up. They were certain that this was the moment they would collect. To be honest, their former powers had been bestowed upon them once more which meant that they didn't have any spells at the moment. They sold all their items too, so hunting down people for the runes was futile at the moment.
