Naga

Magic

Name: Beelzebub, the Lord of Greed

Element: Wind

Category: Single

Quantity: Limited

Description: Beelzebub is filled with and motivated by his avaricious nature. It could be said that the reason why he wanted all that life has to offer was because Beelzebub didn't know exactly what he wanted from it, which fuels his desire to have it all. He has an easygoing, charismatic, arrogant personality and tends to do what he wants. He is also somewhat narcissistic, claiming part of the reason he doesn't use his true form (a monstrous fly) to his fullest extent is because it masks his attractive face. Beelzebub claims to not hurt women and (to an extent) children. While he normally possesses a calm, confident nature, when angered he can be rather impulsive and ready to go into a fight with those he feels have wronged him.

Drawback: The user is a kleptomaniac and feels the constant need to steal things. They are unable to resist urges to steal items that they generally don't really need and that usually have little value. It doesn't matter whether the items belong to friends or strangers. The urge can't be beaten and forces the user to at least steal one thing per topic from another user or a stranger. It could be something harmless like glass at a bar or silverware at a restaurant. Or it could be a bit more severe, like stealing the clothes of a sleeping ally and disappearing with them in the middle of the night. If the user successfully uses their steal skill, it will also count towards stealing something in a topic.

Skills

  • Steal: The user can steal between 2% to 10% jewels from a target. The user may only attempt to do this once per month and must roll a dice in a topic with the target to perform this action. Should the user be successful, the target will be unaware that they have had jewels stolen from them. Should the user be unsuccessful, the target will become aware of what the user attempted to do. Though, if the user is successful, the target cannot do anything about it since they are unaware that it happened.
    • A roll below 75 results in failure.
    • A roll between 75 and 80 results in 2% jewels stolen from the target.
    • A roll between 81 and 85 results in 4% jewels stolen from the target.
    • A roll between 86 and 90 results in 6% jewels stolen from the target.
    • A roll between 91 and 95 results in 8% jewels stolen from the target.
    • A roll between 96 and 100 results in 10% jewels stolen from the target.

Resistance

  • Minor Wind Resistance: The user receives a Minor Resistance versus Wind. The resistance is replaced by a Moderate Resistance during the transformation.

Restrictions

  • The user must either train or purchase the spell listed below when they have unlocked the respective spell slot.
  • The magic takes up two enhancement slots. The user does not need to have the enhancement slots available at purchase. Should the user ever unlock the enhancement slots, it will immediately be filled by this magic.

Requirements

  • The user must be a Human, Demi-Human, Dwarf, or Wood Elf.

Spells

  • Name: Nearly Equivalent Exchange
    Rank: S
Mana Cost: 2-10% of Total Base Mana
Requirements: Beelzebub, the Lord of Greed
    Type: Supplementary
    Element: Wind
    Range: 25 Meters
    Cooldown: 14 Days
    Duration: Sustain
Effect: The user is capable of switching out one of their items with an item of someone else in the topic. The exchanged item must be of the same slot e.g. a ring for a ring. The spell can't be used on a slot of the user that doesn't carry any items. The exchange lasts as long as the spell is sustained. The cost is based on the rarity of the item the target: Common (2%), Rare (4%), Unique (6%), Legendary (8%), and Mythic (10%). The exchanged item may at most be one rarity lower or higher than the item of the user. The spell cannot be used for 14 days after the last topic in which it was used has been left by the user. This cannot be nullified.

  • Name: Greed Is Good
    Rank: S
Mana Cost: 2-10% of Total Base Mana
Requirements: Beelzebub, the Lord of Greed
    Type: Supplementary
    Element: Wind
    Range: 25 Meters
    Cooldown: 1 Post
    Duration: Sustain
Effect: The user must point at a target to activate this spell. The user is able to steal the physical abilities of their target by paying 2% mana per 10% of a specific attribute that they steal from a target. The stolen percentage is then added to the attribute of the user as long as the spell is sustained. This spell can only be used in increments of 2% mana and is capped at 10% mana. Thus, in return for 10% mana per turn, the user may steal 50% of others' attributes and add that to their exact same attributes. The user may apply this spell on multiple targets and choose from multiple attributes to steal from up to the maximum of 10% mana. This cannot be nullified.

  • Name: Demon Soul: Beelzebub, the Lord of Greed
    Rank: S
Mana Cost: 10% of Total Base Mana
Requirements: Beelzebub, the Lord of Greed
    Type: Transformation
    Element: Wind
    Range: -
    Cooldown: 5 Posts
    Duration: Sustain
Effect: The user activates the Demon Soul and merges with Beelzebub. The appearance of the user becomes more like that of a fly. The user receives Moderate Darkness Resistance. In this form, the user is unaffected by Debuff-type spells because they don't want anything taken away from them. The user is also unaffected by Debuff-type effects that come from a modifier attached to magics. Lastly, the user receives an increase of 20% to all their base attributes.  This is a transformation and not a spell. Therefore, it can't be canceled by artifacts or magics that can cancel spells.
