Emil the great once again is being begged to do a request for someone of the richer families as his name is decently well known as he is a great mage and a man that went toe to toe with the titan that is Yuurei and actually did a bit of damage against him which is no small feat in of it self and he was proud of himself even though that knuckle dragging guild master of his stole his dreams of glory with the rune that he had taken from him but he was not gonna be embarrassed again by that blow hard next time will be different and he will make sure of it even if it kills the rest of Paradise Dawn to do it. He walks up and in his mind he is expecting the red carpet to be rolled out to him so once the door opens he waits for the red carpet to roll out so his feet didn't touch the commoners carpet that was inside of the place.

The staff looks at him weird and Emil clears his throat then speaks. "Do you not know who I am you should be kneeling and begging for me to enter and take your request." The staff just looks at him wide eyed as they hadn't expected him to be this extra and so prideful as well they wonder if their master had picked the wrong man as this has to be some kind of joke this man was far to head strong for his own good. He would be a hazard to anyone in the mine as he is entitled and would probably just walk on the honest workers of the mine instead of being respectful of them and how hard they work no way this was the right man that had shown up and then a younger man walks up to them and looks at Emil in the eye with a grin.

The man scolds the staff as they had not done as Emil had said and just looked at a honored guest side ways like that. He was not happy with them as he chewed them out and Emil wore the smug look of a small child that had just got their older sibling in trouble fully proud of himself for getting the staff a good talking to then the staff does as they were told and rolled out a red carpet and escorted the man to the owners den and they began to start talking shop about what he wants and how badly that he needs this deal to work out in the mine and that he needs the best claim that the man can get him and he will not settle for less then perfect like Emil himself is. Emil pridefully smiles and is ready to do anything that this man were to ask of him as long as this man keeps stroking his ego for him.

Emil agrees full heartedly to not fail or come up short and he knows that this man got him and fully respected him and he takes the supplies that the man is giving him and he stands tall and proud as he finally had someone that was respecting him and he leaves to go to the task that the man a had requested him to do. As soon as Emil was out of ear shot the man looked to his staff and said sorry for having to deal with that pricks demands he is just ruthless and he wasn't looking to have to rebuild parts of his house if he had pissed him off and that he was one of the cheaper Paradise Dawn members to hire as he was a low on the totem pole A rank for this request so he will probably not leave up to the terms of the deal so the rich man will get a free claim and be able to tell Emil to kick bricks cause he failed and maybe give the mage a much needed ego check.

Emil makes his way to the mines and he smiles still glad he was appreciated by a client at long last and he walks into the mine and he just starts bashing in the walls with his fist and people start yelling and calling him a moron but he is in his own little world and doesn't care what these insects were saying or their complaints of "Hey that is my claim stay out of that" "You moron you just broke my lucky pickaxe" "You are ruining good veins you shit lord." and the best of them all "Your mother should have swallowed you." He was unaffected by it all as he was on the highest of clouds dancing with angels as his ego had gone soaring with the boost it had gotten then he finds a place away from the other miners so they would shut their dirty filth covered faces up and let him work and get the jewels and the credit that he deserved to be getting.

He starts mining into a wall with his own pickaxe and he was doing a pretty poor job of it as he usually just used his fists and tore ore out of the walls but this has to be a great claim so that he will get more praise for his hard work then the sound of tiny feet walk up behind him and the man feels a tap on his leg and he looks down and he sees an exceed like his brother has and as his brothers was oddly dressed this one was oddly dressed as well. It began to speak and Emil was a bit taken aback that it had the guts to walk up to him and ley on of is dirty paws on him so either this thing had a death wish or it had balls big enough to ride around this country. [color:694c=#D5A372"Kid you are doing that completely wrong here let me show you so that you can as well get the perfect chucks of ore and rock so that you find the better stuff more accurately less waste as well." The little cat creature took the pickaxe from Emil's hands before the man could even raise an argument against this creepy looking like weirdo touching his stuff.

The exceed swings and  perfect chunk of rock broke free and inside was a perfect geode that would be worth a massive purse of jewels if sold to the right guy and Emil hated to admit it but he may need to learn from this creature how to do this right cause the man wanted perfect and so far Emil was not doing anything close to perfect most of the stuff he had in the sack till now was just broken gem stones cracked other pieces and other bits that his recklessness had ruined or made the value very low on or couldn't be sold or saved at all. The man relents and he lets the exceed teach him "My name is Indiana and I am an expert in things old and the digging of things hidden or buried in the walls or ground." The cat himself seemed to have a bit of an ego and even his own title.

He starts teaching Emil to dig the right way and if the man did it wrong the exceed would correct him and give him a good hit to get him back on track till Emil was doing it perfectly like the cat could do the car even helped him lay his plot lines perfectly straight and helped Emil make up for lost time so that he could get out of the mine some time that day. Emil is surprised at how well this is now going since he let the creature teach him how it is done and how swiftly and well the creature was at not only keeping up with him but matching him almost swing for swing on the wall Emil was very impressed. The exceed handed Emil the map so the client can find the spot to his claim and the preview of the bag will have him running the creature had said.

He walked with the exceed out of the mines and back toward the city so he could get paid and on the way the decide they will team up with each other as they have a lot they could learn from one another. Emil walks in and his haul is checked and the rich man nearly looked like he was about to have a heart attack at the things in the bag as they are worth more then he was willing to pay Emil for the job to start with so he adds a little extra on top for him. Then he and the exceed leave to go get some drinks on Emil of course as the adventuring cat didn't have a home and he was very low on jewels so today was Emil's treat for the lesson and for the fact he feels this is a budding friendship yet to fully bloom he believes.
