Toma wore his beakcoat and beakface as he walked the streets of Marigold. He had an unusual quest to achieve tonight. He was putting on a play with a bunch of phantom menaces. Earlier, he had investigated the old burned-down Opera, which had seemingly restored itself during the night. Upon entry, the ghost of all who died there had asked to put on one more show to appease themselves. Selecting a few out of the ghost he decided on a short and beautiful murder mystery. He had left everything else up to the spirits. However, it was placed upon Toma to acquire an audience. Suggesting the idea of improv, he had left three key requirements based on time. The first act would be a ball using the main auditorium. Second the rebellious Queen's sister would arrive after killing the Queen after a public announcement. And whatever chaos assured after would be the finale. Sighing, he realized what he had to do he thought, eyeing a patrol of rune knights.
