Upon joining the guild called Sleeping Calamity she had never realized that she would also be giving her services to the people of Orchidia. She didn't really care what happened to these people and if she wasn't connected with the guild, she would have joined the monsters that were running rampant in the streets. Blood dripped from her hands as she pulled it out of the chest of a giant, it's lifeless body twitching as the screams of people around her caused her to leap into action once more. Otsukimi didn't need to waste her mana taking these mindless creatures down, but she would have to hit them many more times than she cared for in order for them to stop moving. Being far smaller than all of the giants, she just had to take them out at their ankles in order to bring them a little closer to her.

Jikan was sure that she had informed the one's involved in Sleeping Calamity enough, but image. Was important. It did not matter if someone was legal or illegal, good or bad, it was all about the perspective of the people who saw you that mattered. The guild was an unregistered entity, and, based in Orchidia, it lived within the independent resolve and ecosystem of the Northern Region of Fiore.

Merchant routes, military opposition, timed aid in political situation. The common folk played all into that. Being a guild seeking power, it made sense to work for this. Jikan was not content with physical power, magic. Resources, influence. She wanted it all. And as she dashed through the streets of Orchidia, jumping and kicking the head of a giant that was about to pick up a family of four. She knew this was a bad situation for the town.....and a opportunity for her.

Knocking her body into a man who was about to get stepped on by a giant, Otsukimi wondered how these people lived this long without dying from other things. The guild must have done a great job protecting them and she wondered just how long they had been protected. Catching the foot of the giant whos' strength she nearly matched wasn't much of a problem for her as she pushed upwards causing it to lose its balance and back off of her. Bending at the knees she pushed herself off the ground and upwards, punching the foot of the giant many times before landing back down the ground. The giant made a noise in pain and fell back, landing onto a building she could only hope was clear of people, or she'd never hear the end of it. Jumping onto the giant she aimed for its chest with her fist until it stopped moving.

Landing on the ground after kicking the giant's head. She saw that the head was crushed and splattered. She waved a hand, directing the group of four were to move as she continued on. She had to keep moving, keep fighting. Something in her...like a program. Command her to. To fight. Kill. Crush. She could feel the blood dripping off of the leg she used to kick...god she loved the feeling.

Walking down in a leisure pace she watched as more and more of her Sleeping Calamity members came. Funneling in from any and everywhere to take on the giants. A few of them...were not careful of collectural damage.That was wasted money. But honestly. As long it wasn't one of the newer buildings Jikan helped made over the last two years, and didn't have people in it. She could really care less.

She lunged. flying between two Giant's bodies, extending both arms before feeling them slam into them. Her small arms in comparison held a terrifying amount of strength, tearing through the giants bodies. Not killing them, but sending them flying into the air, to only land onto a group of smaller giants.

Not every enemy that crossed her path towered many feet over her. Some of these enemies were more " human " sized and those people were causing trouble amongst the chaos. Otsukimi had to give those individuals her thumbs up of acceptance because in a different circumstance she would have joined them in taking advantage of the situation amongst them. Unfortunately for them she was play for a different team and she had to stop them from harming people, causing more trouble in the area, and overall being a bunch of wonderfully out of wack menaces. For instance, three crying children were alone and a man with a knife was running towards them, in broad daylight

. As amusing as it was the reality of the situation was in front of her. Otsukimi was closer to the children than the man was and was quick to jump into action. Before the man could get to the children her hand was already in his chest, pulling his heart out, and watching his body slump to the ground while his still beating heart was in her hand, warm and pulsing. The children of course were even more afraid and Otsukimi only took that fear up by biting into the heart and laughing in their faces. She just saved them, and they had the nerve to still be sad. Truly these children were ungrateful. Spitting the heart chunk out and throwing the rest of the organ onto the ground, she wiped her mouth and moved on.

Going through giants big and " small ", Otsukimi didn't tire throughout her fight. As she smashed the head of one, she could see not so far from her was a red headed woman taking care of some giants on her own. From what Otsukimi understood her guild was the only people dealing with the current threat to these people's lives, so she had to wonder if that woman was a part of the guild. Before her mind could settle on a answer or even an action she felt a pain shoot through her as her body came into contact with something at full force before being thrown off her feet and into the side of a building. This would have knocked her out if she were weak, but it only annoyed her.

Jikan looked on with a bit of fire in her eyes as she watched the two giants she had attack fly into the air and land onto some smaller giants. She did not really pay attention exactly to how many were there on the moment of impact. But. She was just happy to get more of the pests in her hair out of her sight. It was...a bit thrilling to do this. It had been many many years were she found herself just cutting loose and just pummeling through bodies. It was so much more fun than using magic to use her magic to burn bodies to ash or cut right through them.

As she landed she heard a crash and turned her head. Someone had be blasted into a building due to a giant kicking them. She turned towards the giant and slowly stepped forward...she was pissed....THAT WAS ONE OF THE NEW BUILDINGS.

With the sense nearly knocked out of her but her body bouncing back, Otsukimi got to her feet, shaking off the rubble that had gotten on her body. Though she was small her body left a considerable dent in the building, one that was going to be noticeable no matter how you looked at it. She didn't know how much money the city had to fix it but better a hole than the whole thing coming down.

Turning her attention to where she was thrown from, she could see the giant that did it, lowering her eyes she approached the stupid, brainless, beast. As she got closer to it, she could see not too far away was the red headed woman and she looked pissed. Did she want a piece of that giant? From the way she looked she probably did. Calling out to the woman with a wave and a toothy grin, she would point at the giant in a way that said, " we should team up on this bitch ", now whether or not that could be conveyed properly to the other person was entirely up in the air, but she tried her best about it. Teamwork made the dream work was something she heard some kids say and she could only imagine that this was the perfect example for that sort of phrase to be put in place.

Oh she expected this, some unlucky people hurt. Civilians..o-. That lady jumped out of that rumble like it was nothing....fuck she left a giant dent though. She must be some warrior or mage or something if she was walking that off easy. As Jikan continued to walk...still looking pissed, she got a better look of the person. It was not a face that she could say she ever remembered meeting, but, she had to be some sort of daemon by the appearance at least. No matter, that did not matter to her.


Otsukimi got to her feet, shaking off the rubble that had gotten on her body. She had spunk, walking up to the giant that had hit her with the visual attitude Jikan did. She wanted to fuck em up. She called out and waved....even had a grin on her face. Pointing to the beast. With a nod she moved, almost sliding across the ground as she let out a low kick to try hit one of the giant's legs.

Whether she was a Sleeping Calamity member or not, she could ask that later. For now, it was time to see how she would respond.

Perfect. So, the red head did get what she was trying to say. It was a good day when no words needed to be said for an understanding to be reached. This made her toothy grin grow wider as Otsukimi watched the red head slide across the ground in an attempt to hit the Giant's feet. Well, if she was going to go low, then in Otsukimi's mind the only smart thing for her to do was go high right? Bending at the knee she put all her strength in her legs, kicking herself off the ground which sent her into the air, high above the Giant's head. This act drew the giant's attention towards Otsukimi but it wasn't quick enough to react as she came back down towards its face, her foot extended ready to crush its face with her foot. It was a wonderful feeling, the rough flesh of the giant breaking against her bare feet until she was knee deep in its skull. Once her body stopped going, she pulled herself from its head and shoved her hand into its eyeball, scratching and pulling bits out causing the giant to swat at its own face, it's attention fully trying to stop what was going but failing to hit Otsukimi as her nimble body moved about just missing the giant's hands from crushing her and giggling as it slapped itself. With all the attention on her she knew the red head below would have no problems taking it down from her end, it was only a matter of finishing it off before introductions were in order.

CRACK. Was the sound Jikan could hear as she made contact with the giant invaders leg. Her foot smacking into the limb and causing an angry cry to come the beast. The action of Otsukimi jumping into the air was a perfect attention grabber. With her speed and proximity to the beast, it had no chance to evade or counter the strike aiming for it. As her foot landed, she twisted her body in the air, planting her right hand down as a base to prop herself up.

During this flow, the unnamed teammate in this attack would come down, foot aimed down to crunch and smack the giants face. Another crunch could be heard by Jikan's ears as she heard the impact. Deep it seemed that blow landed. The giant yelled and waved its arms as the daemon plunged her hand into its eyeball.

It was perfect for her. Swinging her leg she kicked again, knocking the giants leg out from it as it was bruised, broken, and unable to function now. Falling the giant fell backwards, and without a hesitation Jikan jumped, aiming for the spine she attacked with a tiger claw, plunging her arm into the giant's back.

The teamwork the two displayed was a work of bloody art and that was literal for the most part. The savage and perfect execution of their combined movements was more than enough to take out the giant beast that threatened the area with it's presence. the people below ran, screamed, and took cover where they wouldn't be harmed by the bigger beast while some fought off the small more human sized threats. It was a perfect storm that kept coming but Otsukimi knew that it wouldn't last forever. Riding the body of the giant as it came down, she would hop off of it's head and move to a position where she would finally be able to see the red head woman face to face. It wasn't everyday she got to fight with someone as an ally, she was usually fighting against others so this was a breath of fresh bloody air, and a welcomed one at that.

Through the whole fight she savored the blood, the symphony of broken bones and tearing skin, the rush it gave her to work along side another in this banquet of full on violence. Dripping in blood that wasn't her own and sweat from the sheer workout of today's extravagant event, Otsukimi still looked radiant in the most feral way. Hello~ Miss Redhead. Are you still alive down there? Her voice cooed with sweet honey as she tried to pinpoint the location of the woman while walking close to the body of the giant. Her neatly manicured but sharp nails running along the skin of the dead giant, breaking it's skin as she did so and the blackened blood coating her nails.

Landing into the giants body, Jikan felt the warm tingling of fluid running down her raised hand. A mushy inside that was around her arm and fingers as she grunted. Placing her other hand on the back of the giant before pulling her other arm free. A bit of blood gushed out, flowing onto the ground and splashing onto Jikan's face. Her eyes cold and focus as she did not show a symbolism of caring about blood being spilled. The execution of their movements and attacks took out the giant, giving a calmness to the area they were in. For now. In the parts away in her line of sight, running and screaming as the took off towards safety and places to be secured. The Sleeping Calamity warriors moved with force, charging forward to take on the smaller human sized giant threats.

Snapping her arm swinging it down, Jikan made a waning moon crescent arc art with the blood. Freeing most of her hand of the blood clinging to her limb. Her eyes looked up after, seeing the giant's body fall and the unknown woman hop off to land a bit in front of her.

"Yes", Jikan spoke walking from the side of giant she was behind. "Good job...whoever you are". Jikan said with a nod of her head, the look at the woman was a plan one, a bit dead even with the splatter of blood on her face as Jikan took in the person before her closer now.

Otsukimi smiled when the woman step from behind the giant, standing only a few feet away from the daemon, or rather it was Otsukimi standing a few feet away from the red headed woman. They both looked like they been through hell but none of them seem phased by it. On one face a smile and on the other nothing. Like two sides of a mask staring at each other there was only praise given from one side and Otsukimi chuckled at it. It was nothing really, I was just doing my job as a member of Sleeping Calamity, otherwise I wouldn't have helped at all. Shifting her body so it leaned against the giant she wondered for a moment who was going to clean up this mess. There were far too many bodies littering the city and a lot of those bodies were massive, some even bigger than some of the buildings in the city itself. If the guild was being proactive, they could have stopped these monsters before they had gotten to the city so in the end they were really as bad as the giants themselves. One could see these things a mile away, but they waited until they were right at their doorstep to take out the threat which as anyone could see had become a much bigger problem.

Otsukimi is who I am, and so you will call me that. And you are? With the line of communication opening up it was probably for the best to learn who this person was. It was rare to form a connection in the middle of chaos, but the Daemon was happy she was able to, no matter how small it may have seemed. In her mind as it turned over questions and answers she could only assume this woman was probably a part of the same guild she was. It was of course there duty currently to protect the city and the people in it and that was probably because their guild's main building was here. What a tragedy it would be if that had been destroyed right? Otsukimi had only gotten word from another member of the incoming invasion, and it was the only reason she moved her feet to help. With that being of note it was only reasonable to think that this woman was in the same boat as her, though she could be wrong she wouldn't make assumptions out loud and let the red head speak her truth with her own mouth.

As Jikan looked at the unknown Daemon Otsukimi she listened to the lass. To her her words were not compliments. Just facts. It just happened that they were of a positive matter towards Otsukimi that she liked. They were a few feet from each other, the unknown warrior held a smile on her face. She must have been really enjoying the chaos going on. Now...if that was something to Jikan's betterment or not would have to be seen. There was never a real way to know what a person was thinking, even more so when it was a person you had never met before. A chuckle or not, the laugh of the female warrior didn't change the state of Jikan.

Although she was a bit more interested in something. It was something wondered but, not something to hold proof in. "Ah? Otsumki", Jikan said watching her Sleeping Calamity member lean up against the body. It had not vanished like the others yet, it took more time before they broke down from heat and steam. Well...most. Some of the giant bodies didn't, that would have to be cleaned up. Maybe even looked at to figure these beasts out more. But, eh, she would decide that later. She would have it, because this did not make sense. How could these things show up out of no where so suddenly? No one, not a single soul sent word that something was on its way. And Jikan doubted everyone watching missed it, not when the news of the giants in Sieghart was so fresh.

Jikan's head turn, hearing the sound of more running, more giants. Turning she stuck out her demonic arm and pointed it towards the noise. Aiming her hand to begin charging mana to attack the giant's head. "Jikan, I guess you are a new face since I don't remember you. Welcome to Calamity".

Ah so she was correct, this was a member of Sleeping Calamity. Otsukimi was pleased with herself for figuring it out and gave herself a little mental pat on the back. Watching the woman stick her arm out, an arm that looked very demonic in nature, Otsukimi stood silently until she saw the buildup of mana release from Jikan's hand. Jikan seem to be aiming at a giant not too far away, preparing an attack that would certainly end its life. Whenever she did release that attack seemed to be about the same time that Otsukimi got hit with the knowledge she was looking for. Jikan. The guild master of Sleeping Calamity. I was told about you from the little man who recruited me. It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person, and what a force you turned out to be, I suppose that's why you are in charge. Well, I won't keep you, many more of these things to kill right? Let's get together for a drink later. Pushing herself off of the giant and walking off to do her duty, Otsukimi planned on getting really close to that woman in the future.

note: not gonna have Jikan roll given she is doing this mission again for no rewards

Jikan felt the mana building her left arm, a beautiful magic circle formed, purple, brown, and white in its color. The circle was letting out a little tremor of energy, causing the rocks on the ground to float and break apart ever so lightly. Jikan eyed the approaching giants after speaking to this new Sleeping Calamity member. She was curious about who brought this one in but that could be asked later on. The mana buildup from within her arm was released, a wave shrapnel of earth fired forward, cutting and shredding into the giants' faces.

Her face continued to look forward as her eyes shifted back to Otsukimi as she spoke. Jikan nodded her head. "Many many many more of them to kill. These things seem to be endless, but. They will fall all the same. Do well to show me your strength and skill, if you survive this we can get a drink among the guild members to celebrate our victory".

Jikan said this calmly as she watched Otsukimi pushed off the giant's head and began to walk off. Off to do more fighting and such in the name of the guild. Jikan left as well, moving on to continue doing more in the aid of Orchidia.
