General Name: Bucket Age: 5/21/X752 - 40 Years Old. Gender: Male Sexuality: Pansexual Ethnicity, Father: Encan Ethnicity, Mother: Encan Class: Berserker Race: Human Rank: D-rank Guild: Guildless Tattoo: Lower Back Face: Bucket - My OC Appearance Height: 6'7. Weight: 313 Lbs. Hair: Bald Eyes: Jet Black Overall: The physical embodiment of Bergmann's rule, the aged Encan male is the very figure of bulk and power. Board shouldered, wide hipped and with long legs, Bucket's body is perfectly adapted for the cold environment in which he was raised - the body hair, the light layer of body-fat over his skin, the thick muscles, etc. Most importantly, however, his head - cursed as a punishment towards his parents for heresy - is shaped like the typical chum bucket a fisherman would carry to work. Even though it looks like it merely has a carved set of eyes and a jagged, jack'o'lantern mouth, they are fully able to move and emote. The eyes have an impenetrable darkness behind them that light seems to be unable to illuminate, while his mouth hides several black tendrils he uses as a tongue. Extra: Scars litter his whole body, from various sources, though most of them are clearly caused by attacks from wild beasts and monsters. Personality Personality: A deep-seated resentment towards the higher powers, their followers and those who oppose them, hidden by layers upon layers of irony, snark, sarcasm and some genuine kindness. Bucket's goals define his very personality as one that aims to do nothing but to not just oppose the gods and demons, but to erase them entirely, to usurp their powers and seclude himself, so that their powers may never be abused again. Hence, his likes and dislikes, his fears and nightmares, all end up connecting back to the events that so traumatized him so many years ago. Likes:

History History: Raised in the cold, harsh winterlands of the island of Enca, a nameless boy lived with his impoverished family: parents and two brothers. Fishermen by trade, since he was at the ripe age of six, the child found himself constantly helping out anywhere and everywhere he could to sustain themselves, constantly struggling to stave off the cold, the wildlife and sometimes even other fishermen. Such a life was difficult and not always peaceful, though struggle forced the family to stick together. Perhaps, they stuck together too much. Such self reliance and struggle often leads one closer or away from the gods and, when wandering, unidentified preachers introduced themselves to the family, only to hear a crude, rude dismissal from the patriarch that he did not believe in gods, the situation soured rapidly. They were attacked, though they didn't die. Not even captured. Instead, leaving their youngest and slowest behind, the family ran away as far as they could. Fate wasn't kind to that nameless child. Tortured in every which way they could think of, the nameless child was eventually broken into a mere servant, a walking shell of who he was, now as a simple pack mule for the preachers and their mission - which took him away from his homeland, through the known world. He was merely nine at the time. At forty, he'd escape. A broken will can mend itself given time and, in his advanced age, he found himself slowly regaining the passion that was once lost, the envy bubbling in his heart at the freedom and joy that other people took for granted. The simple freedom to think and make their own decisions drove him to madness, madness enough to lose himself in his hatred and run away. Cursed and branded as he ran, that shameful visage of a bucket for a head would get him ignored and shoved aside as a mere madman, a fool who would wear something so ridiculous upon his head - dregs of society that shouldn't even be looked at. The dreg, though, continues to harbor endless resentment towards the priests who'd do it to him, the "god" who would teach them such methods and the "demons" who continue to give them justification. The dreg wants to kill them all. The dreg who accepted a new name: Bucket. Reference: Sophia (Jess). |
