As always Miriko set herself up to do many things when she set up her normal areas of painting in the square of hargeon, having settled in for a while it was common for people to find her here while she would casually paint and draw while talking to people. Over all a pretty fair deal for her since even if it was still pretty cold Miriko could handle it after making sure she draped a pretty thick quilt over her anyway, but she was set up for a casual and normal spot where people normally gathered.

Alistair her wonderful companion, did not worry about the cold as much he kind of in fact helped Miriko stay warm at times. when it was needed, But as every now day came another time to complete a piece of art. It was just a normal day for Miriko so to say at least.

Hargeon’s square. A hub of trade and culture, a place people went to shop, relax and meet. It was home to businesses, restaurants, entertainment facilities and a handful of decorative features but amid all of this there was a most stand out sight: a Demi-human, one born of the serpentine variety. It was not her serpentine nature that brought more than a handful of curious stares but the sheer scale of her body. The scale of her upper torso was rather ordinary but if one looked down they would keep looking…and looking..and looking it would be revealed that this serpent’s tail measured a truly monstrous ten feet.

The serpent scoffed as she slithered through the square, clutching a parasol to shield her skin from the bright coastal sun, as she made her way towards a rather high end looking restaurant. Food was what happened to be on Ichika’s mind but as she approached her restaurant, a reservation only establishment, her gaze would cast towards Mimi. Curious…a painter here? Well, it did make sense. Ichika was here after all. Who wouldn’t jump at a chance to paint her? Perhaps she should offer this artist an opportunity to paint the finest candidate in the whole city.

In some manner, it seemed Miriko would not find many things that would be of interest to her at the time. Then again she had settled into here rather well that most things did not seem super interesting in the end of the area around her that could be. Then again with the bit of cold from the winter she did also get distracted.

but at least in something would come up that would be interesting for her. since she eventually seemed to meet the look of the this new interesting woman while she considering her options, Thus Miriko could not help herself but to get up from where she was looking upon the people. Thus getting her sketch book and a pencil she then tapped Alistair to let him know where she was going and he was to stay there. The Cattian content being lazy enjoyed the idea of it and Miriko was off to catch up too this woman she did not know the name of yet. Ichika the demi-human snake.

They thought they were being subtle, weren’t they? Ichika could tell she was being followed, having stolen brief glances at the artist as she made her way to the restaurant which was why she changed her plans. It did not take long to enter into the establishment and cancel her reservation, as frustrating as that was, and then exit the building again. The Lamia’’s next step was to take a winding and confusing path through Hargeon’s backstreets, one that would hopefully wind up getting Mimi very lost. Even though she was by no means a native of Hargeon, Ichika’s familiarity with the city’s layout was rather impressive.

She would then work her way around, using the length afforded by her tail, to cross over rooftops and hopefully end up behind the artist. That was when she lashed out, attempting and hopefully (even though it was by no means guaranteed) succeeding in coiling around the following artist. Her grip was as tight as she could muster, rather impressive for an ordinary citizen, but by no means capable of standing up to the vast majority of magic users. Hopefully, it would be enough to keep one whom Ichika assumed to be an ordinary citizen restrained.

You dare follow me and lay eyes on me without permission…and now you have the audacity to force me to touch you. Are all Fioran peasants this audacious?” The serpent’s voice was coloured by a restrained anger, her brow furrowed and her eyes slanted downwards in a scowl.

Speak quickly. Why are you following me artist, if you really are one.” The anger in her voice receded somewhat, replaced with distrust and suspicion, a shift in vocal tone matched only by her expression softening ever so slightly. She was by no means happy with Mimi, that much should be obvious. If you wanted to follow Ichika around and bask in her inherent superiority, then that was a privilege you should pay for.

The major flaw with Miriko was having that problem of being stuck and fixed on how she wants to do something ,That she just went to do things before planning anything. Knowing her luck as this went on longer and longer the less shocked Alistair would be that this situation was happening. But in some manner it was safe and easy to assume at some point Miriko might have gotten lost trying to follow this woman but since Miriko had this area as her home she seemed to be some what keeping up well.

But she still had her struggles because during this following Miriko was trying to figure out how to greet this woman and as about that very simple thing and doing where two different things to Miriko when most of your talking is easily made to be stuttered through another action easily distracting your thoughts, This situation would be in some manner very interesting for Miriko as well as a great cause for suffering for her mentally, But at least it would not have any horrible fall backs.

Upon the moment when Ichika turned around for her actions Miriko for some reason finally felt it fitting to speak, only because she tended to like to be able to see the person they were speaking too eye to eye and it felt a bit less strange."Oh yes hel-"her greeting cut off it seemed in her long period of time to think and wait for greeting, Miriko did not consider dodging at all. Then again in the normal of Miriko social events she did not seem to struggle only just a bit worried."W-wait...please let me explain, I d-d-do actually have honest intentions."As she progressively continue speaking she seemed to be getting quieter, not that she wasn't able to breath more like she was just that nervous over all.

This would either by really annoying, saddening or a mix between various emotions since she was trying to keep her mind in one place. But if she was expecting a nervous person to speak quickly she would be in luck."Iwasjustwonderingifyouwouldbeokaywithfollowingmebacktothewhereiwasworkingiwantedtopaintapictureofyou."She said this really quickly and nervously but she for a moment thinking she was understood."This is if you don't mind at all and are not busy....I j-j-just find you really pretty and inter-esting to look at."You would almost think you are trying to make this woman suffering but alas this was Miriko normally."At no ccc-cost to you either....in-n-nfact. I was j-j-just going to give you the picture I made..."Miriko seemed to wait for an answer to this.

Mean while Alistair her giant fluffy companion of a cat has yet to be around or show up yet, just still waiting for Miriko to return. But he was taking note it was a bit longer then he would normally fine reasonable for Miriko to be gone for, Soon he would have to go find her.

Ichika was annoyed. The rapid speech and ever diminishing volume level made this artist difficult to listen to and that only caused further annoyance. The Lamia tightened her coils further, seeking to squeeze the truth out of Mimi and air out of her lungs. How Fiore hadn’t descended into chaos and anarchy with their peasants being bold enough to act beyond their station. It was a riddle Ichoka had little time for and even less patience, tolerating it only for the sake of making money.

“I see….hmp. Next time, lavish me with gifts and I may be so kind as to deign upon you the privilege to draw me.” It was a casual remark that escaped Ichika’s lips as her coils began to loosen. Mimi would soon find herself freed from the tight coils of the Lamia’s tail, the muscular mass unwrapping and slithering away, freeing Mimi to go about whatever business it was that she would do. With there now being a proper distance between the two of them, Ichika would refamiliarise herself with the details of Mimi’s form.

And what makes you think you have the right to have so boldly decided you were privileged enough to render my form unto paper? Give it here. I will decide its worth myself.” Ichika’s right hand shot out, as if to communicate that she expected the painting to be handed over without delay. In truth, this was something Mimi should feel honoured to be asked. It was not every day that a peasant got this kind of opportunity.

“Well? Hurry up then.” The Lamia yet again addressed the artist, speaking in that ever so slightly frustrated tone of her’s. Ichika, by virtue of her tail’s length and general proportions, was noticeably taller than Mimi…however that was intentional. Ichika had raised herself up upon her tail, the muscular mass easily supporting her torso’s weight, all to ensure she was looking down upon this nervous artist.

It seemed Ichika was going to go down a path of being annoyed. For Miriko was in some manner a far more simple person. She preferred these things to work in her own strange and particular way. She was not the type to well speak clear, simply and with out fear. That also said it was sa bit hard to do all of that when your being wrapped tight like a pray for a meal to a wild animal."W-w-with gifts? I was going to give you the painting with out a second thought..."Miriko continued to remark shyly which might be annoying but it seemed it was just how she was because she was uncomfortable."I don't have anything else to offer...."she manage to say that with out a stuttering which means she was trying to keep herself collected in some manner, hopefully it lasted.

But maybe this idea of Miriko sales pitching herself might be a bit more into her favour."Surely if anything, a free painting for moment sitting in comfortable position in some manner for a small amount of time. From the frame painter of Blue Pegasus,Miriko Hara Rinmizukmi would be a worth gift yes?"She also managed to say all of this with out any interruptions. She was getting her reputation and her name out there right away as she was a part of the guild with in this city to see if that boost her confidence."Would you consider that a worthy gift?"Now Miriko just had to hope this all worked.

At this point at least in the conversation the massive sized Cattian that was Alistair would start showing up behind Miriko. Finding his own was not going to be too long of a thing because well he knew how this worked but he remained quiet while sitting behind Miriko.
