CompanionLight blue locks swayed softly in the cool autumn breeze. The weather had been changing, the hot summer days that left Charlotte's beloved snow gryphon feeling like she was going to die from heatstroke were now behind them for another year. The tamer and her companion had been through a lot together in the recent weeks, but neither had expected to be returning so close to Charlotte's home so early on.
The one that had promised to take her along with them on their expedition of some runes had not bothered to contact her since their last meeting. Causing the Fairy Tail member to begin to doubt whether he had actually meant his words, even if it were far more likely that he had been simply far too busy and been called elsewhere.
At the very least she had had the opportunity to meet up and spend time with her brother, even if it was for work purposes. Still, the way he went on and on about how amazing his Captain-Commander was, Charlotte wouldn't have been surprised if he had romantic feelings for the werewolf woman at this point, even if she was nearly ten years his senior.
Deciding to take a day off from their investigation work, in order to clear their heads, Charlotte had chosen to step out of the house for a walk and some fresh air. The tamer took the time to dress warmly in casual attire, Gwendolyn, the fluffy, feathery beast trotting beside her as they took a stroll through the streets of Era.
