Name: The Realm of Possibility Difficulty: Epic Participants: Story: Kazimir is brought into the magic court for rumors about his involvement in the destruction of a couple of churches. Without concrete evidence of a confession, they are unable to convict the mage. However, they try to put mana-dampening devices on him to keep track of him, considering the history revealed from his past actions. Kaz doesn't agree and ends up fighting his way out. The court keeps it secret so as to not alarm people. It is discovered that the church pressed the court into action, because of Kazimir's investigation. The investigation continues and takes Kaz to the grand cathedral. He breaks in and learns that the seraphim in hiding is Gabriel the archangel. He assassinates corrupt bishops and a cardinal to get his information. All that is known is that a darkness descended upon the Grand Church living death in its wake. No one is sure exactly what happened, only that faith has been shaken. Some see the event as a great calamity to the believers of a kind church while others see it as a step towards true freedom and retribution for the sins of the church. But all know that not even the Grand Cathedral is safe. A survivor only remembers one thing uttered from the darkness, "I wonder...who will you turn to for help...and who will answer." Kaz battles various church fanatics and paid off rune knights. Once he finds Gabriel, Kaz must face off against a Seraphim that embodies the will and power of Michael. Once defeated Kaz meets Gabriel. Gabriel Tells Kaz about Lucent and the governing body of the angels as well as the realm of illumin. Kaz learns the history behind the dark races that once sided with some of the seraphim in protecting Earthland against the other invading forces. Gabriel learns about the fate of Luci. Kaz agrees to work with Gabriel and be the guardian against seraphim invading Earthland. Objective: Meet Gabriel and uncover the truth about Lucent. |

Name: Meeting Fate Rank: S Type: Good Participants: Kaz Summary: Kaz arrives at a chamber that makes him recount and relive all his actions in the past. The sins that he has and the crimes he committed. Also, the loss that he suffered. Kaz breaks free of the device of torment and meets the cardinal. They discuss where Gabriel is. Kaz defeats the Cardinal and leaves with the information. The Cardinal believes that the truth of the world is less important than the belief of the church. A belief used to steer the populace in a direction befitting the goals of the church. Methods to keep the church in power. The Cardinal has sanctioned experiments on dark races, persecution, and manipulation of the masses in order to keep the Cardinal's ideals of peace and prosperity. All the while using the church's influence to keep power. He encounters different believers on the way out and hears their interpretation of the teachings. Name: Midnight Massacre Rank: S Type: Good Participants: Summary: Kazimir works his way down through the old records of the church. He encounters some members responsible for holding some of the more sacred information about the church. He spends time gathering information about Gabriel and readies to track down the mage. As he opens the final case to the information on the Archangel, a large group of priests and clergy enter the room. They are wardens of the information and attempt the stop Kazimir. The wind mage tries to convince them otherwise but they refuse and he defeats them. Meanwhile, the church panics after discovering the deaths of multiple members, bishops, and a cardinal. Name: Lucent Rank: S Type: Good Participants: Kaz Summary: Kazimir heads for Gabriel's location. On the way, he battles with the final enemy that tried to reach Gabriel first. A prophet that is possessed by Michael. Pleased to finally know where his missing brother is and trying to stop Kazimir. Reveals they have been after the wind mage so they could siphon off power from the celestial spirit. Kaz is gifted with the final sword of the Wind Tiger and defeats Michael who possesses a Seraphim. With that out of the way, Kaz arrives to see the archangel waiting for him. Gabriel explains he knew someone would come for him one day. Kazimir tells the Archangel about Illumin. Gabriel tells Kaz about the archangels, Lucent, and their connection to Illumin. About the council of angels. Illumin having gone missing. Angels birthed at random from the Lucent. They decide to work together to keep the wraith of Seraphim from coming to Earthland again. Gabriel Imparts part of his power into the sword of the Celestial Tiger, unlocking its full abilities.
