Yuurei was on his way to Rush Valley it would seem like there were a bunch of people within the place causing trouble. He wasn’t sure at first, but it would seem like it was people from the other universe. He wasn’t sure what was going on, but it would seem like there was a problem happening that wasn’t going away. He wasn’t going to let anybody cause chaos to the homes and people in his region. No, he was on his way over there as he was using his mana bike to make it to Rush Valley. Renji was on his shoulder at the same time as he was wondering what was going to happen.

When they got to the entrance of the city, he would see that there were people running around the area. It wasn’t just that, but there was a freaking rift made within the city as well. It was broad daylight, and these guys had the audacity to come here and create chaos. It would seem like they didn’t learn their lesson when it came to fighting him in the North. He was going to make sure that they understood though. He would hop off his bike, now that he was at the entrance of this place.

He would make his way through the city now as he was wondering who and what he was going to be facing right now. Renji was on his shoulder still as he knew that fighting could happen at any time. He knew he wasn’t equipped to fight, so it was why he would just be Yuurei’s extra pair of eyes instead.

It wouldn’t take long, but they would find a bunch of people with armor moving around and causing chaos everywhere. He would see the aggressors and he would do something about it. He would run straight to them as they were destroying things around them, and he would grab one of them by the face before slamming them down to the ground.

The impact could be heard by their companions as they looked over to Yuurei and were all looking at him.

“It’s the Yuurei from this world. It seems like this one is a bit weird looking. Hopefully, he isn’t as strong as the other Yuurei.” One of the guys said to the others.

They were ready to fight him as they figured the man, he took out had been caught off guard and he probably could have put up a good fight.

Kaito had been in a restaurant taking a break from the daily grind he had been dealing with day in and day out, he yawns and his body creaked as he was not taking the time that he was needing to be taking to rest his body from the wear and tear of the fighting and ruin searching. He feels a rift opening and he opens one of his own and he tells the people in there to just make an orderly line and go through the rift he made to get them to safety then he and Revy ran out into the city and wear protecting the innocent people and getting them to pass the word to head to the restaurant to get out of this city safely and Kaito was going to defend the place and the people that he can save from his place on the roof of the restaurant.

Kaito was firing beams at the raiders as he portaled survivors away from the raiders and Revy is still going around passing on the message to the others that she came across and blew a bird whistle if she found trouble and Kaito would open and portal and fire through and get others out and into the place with his rift. Kaito hopes to hell Yuurei and more of Paradise Dawn are near by or on the way cause he is handling as much as he can but it still feels like he is not doing enough to save the people even though he is doing all that he can do to keep them all safe and sound from the raiders that had just reared their ugly faces once again it seemed like a far smaller and weaker force than the others but this might just be a scouting party looking for the best spot in the north to drop to take out as many lives as they can as fast as the can.

Revy is doing all she can as she runs the streets passing the word and blowing the whistle to get help from Kaito who was keeping as sharp of an eye as he possibly could for them but even Kaito knows he is out numbered and even if they are weaker he is still out numbered and those numbers will add up in a fight in an area like this where he is more focused on getting the people living here out than he is in fighting off the raiders that are roaming the city.

Huginn and had came to him in the middle of the patrol, letting him know that a rift from the other world had just opened up in Rush Valley, "Another invasion!? And this time it's in the city!?" Despite being a dwarf with a love for battle, Brone Heavyaxe didn't find any enjoyment in this for the enemy had pushed their war onto civilians. He quickly mounted Geri, his tempest wolf, and they took off towards Rush Valley.

As Brone slipped on his blue helmet, the magical aura from it began to emit, causing the surrounding area to drop in temperature; all the better for Geri, for the sudden change reminded him of his home in the cold regions. Huginn flew right above the dwarf's head as their sights were set on the city; it wouldn't be long before they spotted the city gates in the distance.

"Where the hell are the others?" Brone irritably said as he tightly held the reins, leaning forward, pushing Geri to move as fast as he could.

"Muninn went to find Yuurei as soon as the portal opened" Huginn cawed. A tactic that the ravens and Brone decided after the last invasion; At any given notice, another portal would open and it could happen if Paradise Dawn's best defenders would possibly be separated. One raven would mind the dwarf and the other would try and locate Yuurei and luckily it seemed the plan was working.

As they neared the city, Muninn flew down from the sky to joined his companions, "Yuurei has made contact with the invaders" the raven said.

"Lead me to him" Brone said as his eyes were fixated on the western gates.

Muninn lead the way as Brone, riding upon Geri, and Huginn flying beside them, made their way in through the gates of the city, rushing through the streets, the icy cold aura emanated from them caused the windows of nearby building structures to frost. The dwarf noticed that the streets were mainly empty; the king had made the right decision to evacuate the majority of the cities, save for the essential workers and defenders of the country.

Eventually, Muninn had lead them to the square of the city, a large plaza where a stable portal was positioned. A flicker of light caught the dwarf's eye and he noticed Yuurei already fighting the enemy, then another flicker of red light drew his eyes, for it was Kaito firing beams of magic. Geri ran alongside the railing of the upper level that looked down upon the plaza, "Huginn, Muninn, take to the sky, Geri keep out of the way" the ravens didn't hesitate at Brone's orders, they immediately flew upward to the sky. The dwarf leaped from the back of the wolf and he plummeted from the upper level as he drew his black axe from his back.

As he hit the ground, the blade of Dhuraindarin hit the cobblestone floor, causing half the plaza to split as a large fissure ran along the middle, causing one of the two structures that supported the stable portal to collapse, now the portal began to flicker, limiting the amount of invaders that came through.

A squadron of invaders had fallen into the fissure that was created. When other surrounding invaders noticed the property damage and saw a dwarf entering the battle with a familiar black axe in hand, they cheered, "It's Brone the Bastard! He's here to defeat Yuurei!" But as they saw the same dwarf slam a golden axe onto the ground, causing an explosion of snow and ice to erupt and catching about a dozen of invading soldiers to freeze in place from the sheer cold, their expressions quickly changed, "Nevermind, it's the other Brone!"

The dwarf walked out of the dying flurry of snow and ice, gripping both his axe, angered.

Yuurei was waiting for something to happen between him and the raiders, but it would seem like they were excited. It would seem like one of their generals had arrived. He looked over to see who it was, and he had a smirk on his face. He knew who it was as he shook his head. They had mistaken his Brone for their Brone, which he could care less about it because it meant he could surprise them.

The people that were surrounding him would have their focus shifted back on him and they would shoot different types of magic at Yuurei. He would see this, and he would dodge them without a problem. He could see that this wouldn’t be as difficult as it had been the other times. He felt like they were getting weaker every time they fought, but at the same time, he felt like they were planning something big. He wasn’t sure what it was, and for now, he didn’t have to think about it.

He would swing down his arm from a distance and a magic circle would appear and soon after a slash from his light magic would appear and it would land on one of the men that were there. They were surprised that he used magic as there were reports that he was a close-range fighter only. Yuurei would bring out his wings from his back as it would seem like they were surprised about this.

He would lift himself off the air and he would start flying straight to them. They couldn’t react to how fast he had moved, which meant that one of them would be taken out. He would land a jab straight on one of their faces as he would send them flying. When the others saw this, they would jump back to avoid him. Of course, Yuurei would swing his right arm and it would stretch toward his next victim.

His smile was everything as his arm had caught their next target as he would be hit in the abdomen. Yuurei watched him fall before snapping his arm right back. He would just look at them as they had signs of fear written all over their face.

“What happened to the bravado you guys had earlier? Come at me; you want to invade my home and think things would go just fine for you?” He asked as he would flap his wings and moved to them.

Kaito heard and saw the destruction happening on the other side of the city that must mean that Yuurei and Brone have made their heroic entrances which means the raider will be drawn to them which makes him getting the civilians out much easier then he had been having to deal with up until then. Revy has not stopped working hard as she keeps the people moving and as orderly as she can to get them to Kaito and out of harms way and that was all she could really do but she figures that she was doing a big part even if Kaito was doing the fighting while she got people out.

Kaito keeps firing his beams at the raiders that get close and he is making sure to be careful so he doesn't cause any extra damage to the town as if he does then was he really any better than the raiders that had come out swinging and trying to take off the towns peoples heads like mad monster that they are. Kaito has no idea if this war is even close to over but he was going to keep fighting till he collapses and his legs give out as he has to be at least a tenth of the hero that Yuurei is and he has to prove himself to be worthy of his famous status and not just some wanderer that lucked into being the ones that can do and see those in need but to run to them and aid them, as his magic is really more centered toward defending and protecting the people that he might come across.

Kaito has higher hopes for himself some would even say they are very lofty but he has to keep this going and he has to make sure that he proves himself to the people. Kaito drops down and he draws his sword as it was too risky to fight some of the ones that were coming their way as he didn't want to risk hitting the people that were running away from the raiders that are chasing them and he swiftly moved in and he spins while he cuts them down and tells the people to keep going and he keeps going down the street as he can hear children crying and he finds some children trapped under some debris and he transforms and he gets it off of them and he picks them up and rushes them to safety as he hears the whistle ring out and he fires through the portal and he gets them off of Revy and the others that she is leading.

The dwarf faced the platoons of invaders who were readying themselves to face off against him. Brone's eyes would dart back and forth, trying to determine who to aim for first. Three mages began to say an incantation while conjuring three magic circles. The dwarf ran forward towards them, despite the fact that he's gotten faster due to his training, he was still too slow to stop the mages from finishing their spell; a blast of air shot forth with great pressure. These mages have done their research; they knew their Brone had a slight weakness, his high durability seem to have trouble dealing with wind-base magic, so they decided to conjure forth a powerful wind spell that should knock him down at least.

Brone switched his golden axe, instantly acquired his green axe, Spellcleaver. He swung his axe and as the green blade touched the vertex of the spell, the blast vanished, it's magic negated. "Hah! Ye have to learn of my strengths, not just my weaknesses!" Brone laughed.

"Yeah, that's the plan!" one of the commanders called back to the dwarf as he conjured an interface with a keyboard made of pure magical energy, "Archive magic: Starlight Magic: Artemis Barrage!" the sky lit up, catching Brone's attention; the spell seemed familiar, and it wasn't until he was struck by falling light arrows that he realized this was exactly like Yuurei's spell.

Brone braced himself as best he could as he continued to run through the raining arrows, though his armor was being pelted and pierced. Once he reached the front line, he swung his axes, sending a handful of his enemies flying. The invaders gave him space, but allowed the front liners to jump in and attack the dwarf with their weapons, but the dwarf was good at deflecting their attacks and countering them, downing them in mere seconds, though he was proving to be handling his own well, the arrows of light were still protruding from his armor, showing them he wasn't untouchable.

The mage that summoned arrows like Yuurei, Brone knew he had to aim for him, so the dwarf pushed through the crowd, the enemies having trouble even slowing him down.

Yuurei would his way to them as he would see that some of them were moving away from him. It didn’t matter to him what they did as he would grab his next target. It was an easy catch as he was running, and he would use this to his advantage. He would pick him up into the air and then he would drop him as he would fell to the ground and the impact would take him out. It was that and Yuurei kicked him on the way down. He would look over to the side as he had seen his magic being used. It was his alright, the light arrows that had come out from it, allowed him to know and it would seem like it was being used on Brone.

He was getting ready to go help his friend but would stop himself. He needed the battle experience, and it was not his place to help Brone. He would come to him if he needed it or when he was done with his own work.

“It seems like someone in your group can use my magic. Is it the Yuurei for your world?” He asked them.

They all looked at each other and then at Yuurei, the two of them were different and yet the same. They were both driven and strong, but their abilities were different than each other. Yuurei wouldn’t get an answer, so instead, he would return something to them. He would stretch his arm toward them, and a magic circle would come out, and then another would come from above. The light arrows would start shooting down at them. They would see this, and they would start trying to run away from the arrows.

Yuurei would shake his head when he saw this because he expected this from them and wondered how this would end. The units that came to fight had been shot down by his light arrow as they were falling from how quick these things were.

He would crack his neck as he was ready to go help Brone out, but then a few shots of magic were made his way. He would dodge them as he looked over to where they had come from. It would seem like there were long-range magic users here, and their magic was fast too. He was glad that his necklace and cape had warned him beforehand.

Kaito wonders with all these attacks if he might not end up running into himself or maybe yuurei's other self, he still wonders if they are dating cause from reports they had said that the two had taken on Hosenka together, he guessed maybe they were just friends or his other self was her lackey like himself in his side being Yuurei's lackey or feeling like it some times. Kaito keeps fighting and helping get survivors to safety as he was not trying to even waste a minute as they needed to be dealt with and not lose anymore lives than that can be helped as he knows he can't save them all but that doesn't stop him from trying hard to get through to them to save them.

Revy is starting to get very tired from running and she hopes that she had done enough to make a change and she was not going to give up but she needed a minute as she had been pretty much non-stop running this whole time as she called fourth Kaito to protect her and others but what can she really do if it all comes down to it she was not a fighter or have any fighting skills she needed to think about what she was going to do and how she was going to do it, she needed to make sure for herself at least that she doesn't get herself killed here and she keeps her head attached to herself.

Kaito keeps himself moving as he starts on the watch for people that are staying hidden maybe mistaking him for a raider as he guesses that he and his other self probably at lest look similar though he hadn't been pointed at and screamed that is our Kai, so he guesses either his other self is more handsome or he is uglier than he is and he wonders if he will end up crossing paths with them or not, he doubts that he will run into himself but maybe Yuri will be someone that he ends up going up against as a fight vs himself would probably never end as they would be equally matched and that makes sense as from what he had heard they are both dimensional magic inclined. Kaito is still fighting the raiders that still cross his path that hadn't headed for Yuurei and Brone in the distance. He figures that this side of the city has been pretty much handled he hears a distorted voice and he finds a robotic boy, he unsure if this came with the raiders and was just weak and got smashed or if this came from some where like Caelum where they are working on the advancements of the world. He sends the boy through a different portal to be taken care of.

Brone broke through the wall of invaders that tried to protect the blonde man who was casting Yuurei's magic. The dwarf wondered if the man was Yuurei from the other world, even though they didn't look the same at all; regardless what the reasoning was, the dwarf was determined to cut the man down. As Brone neared the blonde man, he swung his green axe at the man, whatever magic this man had, he couldn't defend against spellcleaver.

Within a blink of an eye, the blonde man vanished and the axe cleaved through empty air. Brone gained his footing and looked around, trying to find the mage, but he was nowhere nearby; the raiders were backing away, most smirking as if they were aware of the situation that the dwarf had put him into.

"Archive magic" the voice drew Brone's attention to the top of a nearby building, the blonde man was interacting with the magical interface while pointing a finger at Brone. The dwarf readied his axe, anticipating one of Yuurei's magical light spells. To his knowledge, Yuurei's ranged spells aren't too powerful, so he was sure he could defend against it, "Dimensional Dragon's Distorted Beam!" a reddish beam shot forward, surprising the dwarf, which threw off his timing; he didn't manage to swing his axe in time, so the beam slammed into his shoulder, shattering the armor piece there and nearly throwing the dwarf back.

But Brone stood his ground. The pieces of his shoulder guard were now slowly levitating, then faded away. This magic wasn't Yuurei's this time, but Kaito's; this explains how the blonde man was able to vanish in an instant and appear so far away, "Here-and-there magic" Brone growled with anger.

"Raido is my name" Said the blonde mage, "And my archive magic can download anyone's magic so long as they are within my range" He laughed out loud.

Brone now had an idea of what archive magic is, but he knew this may prove difficult. Two of the most difficult sparring partners he ever had were Yuurei and Kaito, so to fight against someone who had access to both their spells was going to prove to be a great problem.

Yuurei knew where they were and now, he was going to do his best to get to them. Still, they would shoot magic at him once again, and he would dodge the attacks. He would start moving forward, but the magic wasn’t the only thing being shot at him. No, he would sense bigger danger coming his way from both sides. He would dodge the first one, and the second one would graze him. He would see this as he grunted from the impact and blow. They were shooting huge harpoons at him and one of them had managed to deal damage to his armor. Still, it was still standing, which made him feel good that he upgraded.

He would look at the harpoon guys and it would seem like he was going to have to go through them before he could get to the mages. That was when they shot at him again, and he would move around the air. He was just dodging shit at this point, and they were continuing their assault against him.

He wasn’t enjoying this at all, and he would soar down to the men with the harpoons. They would shoot at him again as it would seem like they were doing their best to make sure that he couldn’t close the gap between them. This was interesting as it would seem like they were being smart about it, but it wasn’t going to last them that long. He would move through the area as he was making sure that the long-distance mages couldn’t see him. When he was hidden from them, he would start his attack with the men with the harpoons. They would shoot them at him, but since he knew they were coming he would dodge them.

“Time to get rid of these annoying things. When did you have time to bring them through the portal.” He said it out loud, but didn’t care if they answered or not.

He would destroy both harpoons as the men manning them would jump away from the explosion that occurred. Yuurei would look at them and would shake his head as he would make their defeat quick. He would lariat both men as they would flip and hit the ground. When he did that he would fly back into the air and he would look at the mages that started shooting magic at him.

He would dodge them without a problem as he was slowly progressing toward them.

Kaito figured it was time to get the front cleared out as well and he calls out to Revy to rest and return to the restaurant and he would keep up in the city so she can help any stragglers that might show up through the hidden portal in side of it cause he knows that there are others more toward the front that need him and staying back here just makes him look like a coward as he needs to make sure that he can not let any more people die to these raiders if he can help it and he keeps running as as he does he opens portals taking the hiding towns folk that he is finding with his sense of smell and his mana vision to see them. He was not going to leave them behind and he keeps fighting for them and their towns safety as he runs down the streets and he was not going to back down as he can't back down at this point this has gone to far and this is the curse of being strong you have to react and do something to make this work or you are just questioned and called a coward or some one unreliable for not running in to be killed in a fight you can't win alone.

He can hear the fighting going on to his left and he wondered if that was the sound of winning or losing but if it was Brone and Yuurei it means that it is winning and he shouldn't worry about checking on it as he knows that the north is in safe hands already and doesn't need him to interfere here as they always seem to have it handled and he would probably only get in their way and he doesn't need to be there having them trip over his feet as he stumbles and gets in their way. He catches spells as they are fired at the buildings using his portals and he keeps trying to make sure that this city stays standing as he wasn't going to give up and make sure that there was a reason for it there has too be. Kaito runs and jumps bounces off the wall and jumps up the wall and he looks around for anymore people that are in trouble cause he had Revy in the exit area watching over those he had been sending there.

The enemy raiders had left the immediate area of where Brone was in order to avoid being caught in any of Raido's borrows spells; When it comes to his tactical fighting, they can change up constantly, so it wasn't preferable to even try to fight along side him. Either way, he preferred to fight by himself, feeling as if no one else could coordinate with him, those who are slow to understand his plan would just be in the way.

Raido shot another red beam at Brone, but this time, the dwarf blocked it with his shield. As the beam vanished, the golden shield gleamed with no cracks, "What the hell?" Raido looked confused as he witnessed the perfect shield. Brone looked over the top of his shield and noticed Raido was peering into his magical interface, looking confused, "Scanners" Raido waved his hand and three magical blue spheres were conjured before flying down to circle the dwarf.

Brone held his shield up against them, trying to avoid a possible incoming attack. When the spheres began to emit a translucent aura that pressed against the shield, the dwarf swung his axe at one, destroying it immediately. He tried to swing at the other two but them pulled away, stopping the aura that was being emitted. The two spheres flew back Raido and he nodded as he looked at his interface, "Ah, the shield is indestructible; that's some powerful magic" he said as he rubbed his chin.

The dwarf was surprised, such a magical ability to get any information that was needed far exceeds what Huginn and Muninn were capable of, and he knew well that information can be power too. Not wanting to remain in the same place for long, at least not long enough for Raido to put together a plan to get around the shield, Brone rushed into the doorway of the building that Raido stood on top of.

"That won't do you any good" Raido smirked as he sent his two blue spheres floating down and in through the doorway of the building to chase the dwarf.

Yuurei’s new target was the mages that were shooting from afar. Those were the last people here, and it would seem like they were doing their best to make sure that he couldn’t get close to them. It wouldn’t matter to him as he kept moving through the air as was inching closer to him. He would see two more shots coming straight for him, and he would dodge them, but it was a close call. The closer he was getting to them, the harder it was to dodge those things. Still, he had his last-second spell to use, and he was waiting for the chance to use it.

It was then that he would get close enough and they would shoot their final spell. When he saw this, he would activate his instinctual precognition. This allowed him to see the spells and where they were coming from before they happened. It was then he would move to an area where it wouldn’t touch him, and he would make his way to the two mages. He would be right next to them both as they were surprised that he was there.

The berserker would see this, and he would be ready to do what needed to be done. It was then that he would lariat them at the same time and they would fall to the ground as he wasn’t holding back. They would drop to the ground, and he would fly into the air, and he would see that everybody he was fighting was no longer able to fight.

He would move through the air as he was soaring quickly. Yuurei would check to see if Brone was okay and while he moved through the air he would see that his friend was fighting against someone. That was good, and he knew that Brone would be able to handle it.

“After this fight, we are patrolling to see if there are any more of these invaders here Brone! I’m going on ahead.” He said to his friend as if he would allow him to fight his own fight.

Yuurei didn’t see Kaito, but he felt that if his friend was still in the North, then he was for sure fighting somewhere here. Still, the incursion would be over for the time being.

As Kaito ran along he saw a little girl being dragged by a raider and she is crying and screaming and he jumped forward and hit the man it should force that the mans arm was the only thing left of him after Kaito had connected with the man that had turned to a fire red mist mixed with dimensional energies and he portaled the now even more terrified girl away from this area to be able to be freed to probably find her family if they had survived as well. He was not sure which side was really right in this fight but in the end does it really matter who was right and who was wrong cause that was what the people that win get to decide not the ones fighting in that moment. They were all only victims of a cruel fate that had weaved them together and forced them to fight each other just so they can live and try to enjoy tomorrow, there has to be a better answer, a better way to handle this all that has no causalities.

Kaito fights another group of raiders and they engage him in a fight but unlike the guy he turned to a fine mist in the air he holds back while fighting them as he has come to realize that these are still people and they are lives that he should have been protecting as well from the start but he was too consumed with hatred and fear to see this, maybe his magic can help bridge this gap that the two sides have maybe he can give their world mana to stay alive and not disappear or die off. He finishes them off the group that had come to face him and he left them all alive and he starts thinking about it all and how he will have to handle it going forward as this is important he has to keep them alive and some how make other understand this.

Brone had made it to the staircase of the building and began to make his way up. It wasn't until he got to the second landing that he noticed the two sphere orbs were following him, so he hid at a higher landing until they were close enough. When the two spheres were in reach, the dwarf jumped into view and swung two axes; his green axe and his black axe, each destroying a sphere. Figuring those spheres might alert Raido because they looked like a pair of eyeballs, Brone dashed up the staircase, thinking the archive mage might be trying to change his location.

Raido was looking into his magical interface, trying to view the information that was being provided by his two spherical orbs, however the readings stopped, showing they were disconnected. The archive mage was confused and began to do a systems check to see why they weren't active, but before he could determine the problem through troubleshooting, the rooftop exit door exploded, with Brone bursting through the debris, heading towards Raido.

The archive mage wasn't done downloading other magical spells, but he knew this may happen, so he was prepared with a magical item. He downloaded a copy of the golden shield Brone wielded. A smirk appeared on his face as he held the shield before him while the dwarf swung his black axe.

The moment Dhuraindarin touched the Urdurain, the golden shield shattered along with Raido's smirk, confused about how the axe could destroy the shield even though he himself read the description of the shield, Brone slammed his green axe into the the archive mage, shattering the defensive magical armor he also had and knocking him out in one hit.

The rooftop fell silent. Brone looked about to see that the plaza also went silent. Huginn flew down onto the dwarf's shoulder and informed him that Yuurei had left to search the city and try to locate any stragglers. Brone nodded and decided to do the same. He called for Geri and soon they were off.
