Drakkon was enjoying the island to the fullest. He figured that it wouldn’t last too long. He had been doing quite a number of jobs with Alexandre. They had been gaining jewels a lot, which was a good thing. He was saving everything that he could for the future ahead of him. He was craving more, he wanted fame, he wanted to do whatever he wanted. The guild master was a scary man, and he knew that there were certain things that weren’t allowed within the guild.

Still, while thinking about all of this and drinking his problems away, he would get a letter from the Kahuna. It seemed like the man wanted Drakkon and Alexandre to take on a challenge that he had given them. He would read through it and it would seem like they were going to walk to the top of a mountain. They wouldn’t be alone as his daughter would be there as well.

He would get up from where he was and he would move around the island as he was looking for Alexandre. When he found him, he would hand him the letter.

“It seems like we got another quest to do. This one is to get a blue flower at the top of the mountain. He said this to Alexandre.

Whenever he was ready the trip to the mountain would begin, which wouldn’t take long to reach either.

Alexandre was in a more secluded place working on his magic. He spoke with Lumikki before traveling to Luluhawa with Drakkon, so he wanted to get better with ice. He enjoyed the girls presence and wanted to collaborate with her. So he just mildly tinkered with his magic a bit. Not too much though as he didnt want anyone to see him. He was forming something in the palm of his hand. Something that gave him peace and strength to go on.

Though as soon as he sniffed out that Drakkon was coming, he immediatelly crushed the ice in the palm of his hand and focused on the letter that Drakkon would give him. He'd read it and nod "Interesting. This clearly seems like a test"
But sure he'll take it.

He was already geared up, so the two would quickly make their way to their mountainous destination. And it wouldnt take them long to arrive there

Drakkon would see that his partner was ready to get this job going. That was good and their arrival there was quick. When they got there, they would see a woman waiting for them at the base of the mountain. The Dragon Slayer would walk over to her with a smile on his face. He was getting ready to flirt with her.

“Someone as beautiful as you is going to be guiding us up the mountain?” He said to her.

She would look at the pretty man and she would look over to the older man. She would clear her throat a bit as she looked at the two of them.

“Not a lot of men are brave enough to approach me in that manner. It’s interesting you see beauty in me, but that is not why we’re here. If you follow me up the mountain and make it to the top Father will be pleased with you two.” She said to them.

Drakkon would hear this and he would nod as he was ready whenever she was.

“I’m ready whenever you are, so lead the way Kohana.” He said to her.

She would nod as she would start walking up the path in front of them and hoped that they would be able to keep up with her.

Getting to their mountainous destination, the two dragon slayers would spot a woman who's good on the eyes. Not his type though personally, although she seems Drakkons type as he was eager to flirt with her. Although the woman was straight to business, which was good for the elder dragon slayer. He didnt want to watch a flirting session now and just wanted to focus on the task at hand. He was eager to get back to training his old magic.

Luckily Drakkon was able to control his urges and told the lady she was free to lead the way. And so she did. The lady started to lead the way and the two dragon slayers would follow soon after her.

Alexandre would soon start to see why this was a quest and why this was a test. The mountanious roud was arderous. The nature was unfriendly The terrain rough.

Drakkon would continue walking up the path, and he could feel it. This was rough on him as he didn’t have the stamina he thought he had. It would seem like he wasn’t the only one though. He could see it on Alexandre’s face. They needed to become stronger, so that way they didn’t feel this exhaustion for something that looked simple. Well, not that it looked simple, but the Kohana they were following didn’t even look like she was struggling.

He would look at Alexandre once again as he would just wonder what was going through his thoughts.

“Seems like we’re out of shape, or we need to work on our stamina.” He said to him laughing a bit.

To be honest, Drakkon was younger, so he had no excuse, which made him want to become able to withstand stuff like this. Still, while they walked, they were making their way to the top. When they reached the peak, they would be able to get the blue lotus and trek back down the mountain.

The path was harsh, but that was clearly the beauty of mother nature. Beautiful and yet treacherous. He looked at Drakkon and it seems he was not doing well. Meanwhile their guide was not phased. Drakkon then spoke with a laugh how it seems they're out of shape and must work on their stamina. Alexandre replied "Like its not so bad. Its something you get used to." he doubted the woman had more stamina than them. Its just something you needed to get used to and practice. He was sure she took this route a whole lot more then them. She meanwhile wouldnt be able to do things they can do.

They shine in battle, not in mountain climbing. But anyway they would arrive at the peak. As much as he wanted a moment of respite and enjoying the view, he knew they were on a task, so there was no time to pause and stop. Drakkon would be the one who'd pluck the delicate and lonely blue flower and with that the duo or rather trio would start to make their way down. On the bright side at least it is easier to descend down the mountain then it is to climb it.
Though even going down has its dangers and perils as to not trip and fall to your doom. Mother nature can be so beautiful but cruel and deadly.
"Be careful Drakkon. This might be easier, but if you trip and fall, well, it wont spell well for you. And I dont really have any healing magic on my hand to help you" he said

Drakkon would nod as he heard Alexandre’s words. He would get used to it, which made sense. When they got to the top, he looked around for the blue flower, and when he saw it, he would approach it without a problem. He took it and knew this was what they needed. Still, now that they had made it to the top, they were going to need to go to the bottom once again. He was close to using his rift spell but figured that would be cheating.

“I got it.” He said to the group.

“Alright, now let’s go back down, and watch your step.” She said to the two of them as she was ready.

While they were going down Drakkon would hear Alexandre and he would smile at him, but nodded.

“Yeah I’ll be careful, even though I don’t think I can die. I haven’t tried, but yeah.” He said to Alexandre.

When he had awakened his Godly powers, he felt like something else happened to him and he was immune to death’s door.

The three would now go and make their slow descent. While Alexandre did warn Drakkon about the descent, making sure his partner doesnt get injured. Something he said made the icy dragon slayer have a double take. What did he mean that he cant die and hasnt tried. There's a bunch he doesnt know about that guy. And he doesnt know how to react to that.

Nevertheless he focused on making a safe climb down. And Drakkon was keeping the flower safe, or so Alexandre hoped he did. But as this descent seemed far too easy. The two or three were attacked by masked and tribal warriors. Alexandre counted and it seemed the 2 of them had 5 to face, if you divide it evenly between the two
"It seems this was the real test. I wouldnt be surprised. Go climb this ardorous mountain. Get this dainty lil flower. Defeat warriors that attack you." Alexandre thought to himself as he glanced at Drakkon "Something tells me its also keep the flowers in one piece"
"Drakkon! Give the flower to the girl" he didnt care if she had a name. He was focused on their quest. So he drew his weapon as he prepared himself for combat

The two of them were moving through the mountain path. They were descending and it would seem like things were going just fine. He was hoping that they would get to the old man quickly, so they could get paid for their work. It was then that a few men would appear in front of them. The Devourer of Dragons saw this and shook his head. He figured Alexandre would help him, but it would seem like he also had a few men to fight.

“Alright, then let’s get this started.” He said this as he handed the flower to the woman.

This was going to be enjoyable as he would unsheathe his blade. He couldn’t use certain spells because it would hit everybody around him. That would be stupid, so he decided to keep it with the spells that would attack in front of him instead of around. His skin would start to become scaly as he had decided to use his Dragon Force from the beginning. It was then he would swipe his arm away and two magic circles would appear. One underneath him and another close to one of the masked fighters. His eye locked onto him as the spell had gone to him.

The masked man would dodge the attack but would be met with Drakkon in front of him. They didn’t notice, but Drakkon and Alexandre were making people slow with the combination of the Glacier effect. He would swing his Yamato straight down on the man, which would do harm to him. It wasn’t just that, but the dragon that he had created had marked the man and would hit him afterward.

The others saw this and were surprised by how strong he was, but the Dragon Slayer wasn’t done. He would pull one of the masked men toward his direction as he was making sure that he couldn’t get away from him.

He elder Dragon Slayer decided to keep it melee. So he'd skillfully slash at the opponents. He was decently acrobatic in his movements. While it wasnt certainly a shadow of what he used to be in his youth. The fact he was a guy in mid 40's and still had the skill the be as acrobatic and active in the first place was a feauture on its own. Holding his own against five foes quite well. With a combination of him swiftfully dodging attacks, to him slowing them down with his effect as well as him being skilled with his blade. He was a decent match for these opponents.

Alexandre looked to see how was Drakkon holding up, but realized the man had everything under control on his end. He even got one of the masked warriors to interrogate him or something. Alexandre would preusme it was for interrogation.

Once he finished off his own opponents and incapacitated them. He'd approach Drakkon and ask him "I believe these are sent by the chief to test us." they looked like tribal warriors to him. Because he believed that, he went soft on the opponents. He didnt want to kill the people the Chief sent to test them. It wouldnt paint the in a good light. So he glanced back at the guys he fought, just in case one of them wakes up from their unconciousness.

Drakkon would look at the man as if he had closed the gap between them against his will. When he saw this he would cut the man down and finish him off with the used a spell from his katana at the same time. He would see that the other three had stopped and turned around to attack him. He would welcome it and he would strike them down without hesitation. When he was done with the last one, he would look over to Alexandre as it would seem like this might have been a test. He would shake his head when he heard this. He would drop the last of them on the ground, but he would notice something.

The woman who was with them was on the floor, and it would seem like she had tweaked her leg while the fighting was happening. Drakkon would walk over to her and he would smile at her. He would sheathe his blade before talking to her as he didn’t want to make her nervous.

“Thank you for protecting the flower, I will carry you the rest of the way.” He said this as he would look and nodded at Alexandre.

“Since this was a test let’s be on our way and hand over the flower and get paid for passing it.” He said to Alexandre as he would continue his path down the mountain.

It seems they have cleared all the enemies. Alexandre thinks he was right in his evaluation, judging by the attire and just the situation that were folk were just there to test them.

But he noticed along with Drakkon that during their scuffle that the lady sprained her ankle. He facepalmed thinking how could she do this. Wasnt this mountain her home terrain? She wasnt even fighting. Perhaps he was right again as to say that the descent of the mountain was just as perilous as the climb to the top

Now he wanted to go and carry the lady, much to the icy dragon slayers dismay. He hoped 'getting stuck' carrying the lovely lady down the mountain. Looks like he had no such luck. Maybe next time he'll be graced with something so lovely.

Drakkon would speak to him and Alexandre would just coldly nod to him as he didnt have anything to say. He just shrugged and went to make his way down.

He was slow and careful in the descent down the mountain. The last thing he needed to do was get himself injured as the lady. He wouldnt wanna be carried by Drakkon. Like he'd rather die.

He'd glance at the flower. He sighed from relief that it was still in one piece. The woman at least kept it safe as she tripped down.
Though he wondered did they had to do this one together? The chief certainly thinks so. But he believes either one of them would've been enough. Maybe next time he can solo the quests or maybe doesnt have to do it with Drakkon. Meh who cares. Just do the stupid things and get on with life.

Anywho he would descent the mountain and notice they were almost done. The path was certainly more safer and clear. They passed the ardourous part and were in the clear. It wouldnt be long now before they would arrive over to the chief.

The two would help the lady and they would present the elder man the flower he sought. Thankfully it was still in one piece. The man would reward them for passing the test as well as receiving his respect and membership to he clan.

It wasnt something he had in mind as a reward. Doubting he'd ever visit this place. Island life wasnt his type of life. He couldnt wait to get to the mainland. He had other things in mind. Preferably getting to know the other Dragon Slayer. At least she was nice on the eyes and more honest with what she was.
Anywho once they got paid and rewarded, the mnstrel dragon slayer would make his leave and go to the inn

Drakkon would look at Alexandre as it would seem like he would be silent throughout their travel down the mountain. It was fine as it would be easier than it was a few minutes ago. Their travel back to their client wasn’t harsh either, and when they presented him with the flower and his daughter, he would be pleased with it, and he would reward the two of them. Drakkon would take his reward and it would seem like there was more. He heard the man and he would have a smirk on his face.

If he was considered that, then did that mean he could flirt with his daughter more in the future and possibly enjoy his time with her while he was on this island? He would shake his head as he didn’t have time for that. They had finished this quest and he figured that it was time to look for another one to do.
