DEVILS MAY CRY
Nana looked around the scenery before her. It was a familiar spot, one that she had an intimate encounter with before. Specifically one of the first times she had experienced a fight against a much stronger enemy. She twirled her guns in her hands and elegantly sidestepped between the trees, imagining that the target from back then was there now. A quick step to the left and breaking the line of sight, she would raise one of her pistols up at houlder height and pretend to squeeze the trigger at an invisible target in front of her. Ghost training or something like that- the ultimate battle of the mind. Of course she was comparing her past self to the current version of her. Largely different in experience and positions within the guild Eternal Nightmare. Back then she was a not so humble acolyte of something like that. Her role model had been the most former guild master, Erebus. he had not been the guild master officially at that time, but soon afterwards. Life was funny that way, and now she was in his position. She too had a pupil, one Erebus had entrusted her with right before his untimely... disappearance. A sigh of frustration escaped her lips and she blew off some steam by slashing at a tree with the blade part of her right gunblade. The tree cracked and popped, breaking free from its own trunk and crashing unceremoniously to the grass. In a quiet serene forest such as this, it was uncommon for such large and vibrant trees to fall for no reason. yet Nana didn't believe there was anyone close enough at hand to take notice of her training, nor her antics. "Why did you have to disappear on us, Erebus-Sensei.. Right before a big battle at that." she said to herself absently, but not loud enough to hear from more than ten meters. WC-317 WC Total-317

Today she didn’t seem to be wielding any items of any real importance aside from her badge and her necklace that empowered her in such a fashion. The lacrima that was slowly tearing her body apart had also gifted her something else that was just as painful to use with her body.
She could feel the presence of something massive at almost all times now and she couldn’t explain it. So she got away from the cities, away from the population as best she could. To deal with the pain and the humble nature of defeat. She didn’t realize how close she was to another individual that was reflecting on their time.
Before these two had met on the battlefield albeit briefly; but she seemed less attentive than before. The werewolf was nowhere near as massive as before. The black leather of her pants and the t-shirt she decided to wear seemed out of place unless you knew of her or her personally.
An ear flicked as the birds called and the woman couldn’t help but pause; looking up to watch a few sparrows fly away from her. A couple remained and she’d just avert her eyes. It felt… strange.
Felt strange to lose like that and in such an important venture. Made her question a lot of things still and even more when she could see innocence like this without knowledge of what could come.

DEVILS MAY CRY
Despite Nana's rigorous training she was doing at the time, her clothing never seemed to match her activities. She wore her usual set of clothing and by that, a long black elegant dress. The bosom of her dress was open to reveal her ample cleavage and the slit at her dress' waist was high enough to see her panties if one looked hard enough. Instead of high heels, she wore flat top black shoes to match her dress. She dressed provocatively on purpose of course, mostly to make the wandering eye to linger on her just long enough to give her a reason to remind them that their eyes should remain in their head. Not out of their heads. As her slice whent through the tree and it tumbled with a loud thud, Nana paused for a moment to catch her breathe. She was not yet sweating and nowhere near finished with her training. Taking a break for training was always rewarding however. It allowed the mind and body to relax, opening up the ability to reflect on decisions and make improvements. There was a lake nearby, crystal clear water as if it were a natural resort. The weather of this island was almost always pleasant and warm enough to not even need clothing. In fact, there was a volcano several miles up the mountains even. Nana had her guns disappear in a flash of magic and she made her way towards the lake. Not thinking anyone around, she quickly and confidentaly dropped her dress and folded it neatly atop a dry rock. The same with her undergarments. Now skinny dipping into the lake, she allows the water to make he float as she relaxed her body and closed her eyes to think about her most recent training. Something about this scent made her slowly blink; it was familiar; it was something that had touched something that she was also familiar with. She’d rub at her neck; wondering where she had run into it before. The werewolf pondered for a moment and then decided to follow it against her better judgment.
Slowly but surely did she follow it as it grew stronger, noting that there was a downed tree. Some downed branches and the faint traces of practice in the air. She’d stare quietly at the ground as she tried to piece together what had happened her. Shrugging slowly she’d continue to follow her nose till her eyes eventually found a rock with some clothing on it.
This seemed familiar; very very familiar. She’d look up slowly and then found who owned the dress and undergarments. Her face turned a bright red and she’d turn slightly as she wasn’t actually sure what to say here. This scent was going to probably be the death of her if she kept following it but she’d be damned if it wasn’t familiar!
There were some names that came to mind but faintly… Nana. The now guildmaster of Eternal Nightmare. Were it not for the fact there was a ceasefire between the guilds of light and dark she might have considered trying to arrest them but…
”I swear…”
She was taller than the lowest branches of some of the trees nearest the ‘beachhead’ and she seemed to tower over the edge of the water. She didn’t seem to know what to say and the redness of her face was only matched by the confusion on it.

DEVILS MAY CRY
Nana had not heard the approaching footsteps, nor had she seen the sillohuette of the werewolf emerge through the tree line. Her eyes had been closed in contemplation of her training just earlier. So intent on improving, that she had left her senses vulnerable. It had been highly unlikely that onyone else was nearby, but even as Nana opened her eyes and saw the feral bipedal figure of Lucretia towering over the water's edge- Nana knew she had relaxed too much. Unlike their last encounter, Nana did nothing at first. She did not strike out viciously like a rabid animal as she had during the last and first meeting with this same werewolf. back then, Nana hadn't known who it was or what a werewolf was. Her teacher Erebus, had taught her much after her defeat. Defeat by this Lucretia. Nana didn't hesitate, nor did she try to hide her body as she floated on the water's surface. Instead, she shifted and allowed the majority of her form to submerge beneath the water's surface. It was clear enough that her lack of a swim suit was off-putting to her sudden companion. She kicked her legs forward beneath the water and allowed her muscles to push her backwards in the lake until her back rested against the far edge of the lake's bank. opposite of Lucretia's position. "Lucretia of the Rune Knights." she would say, mostly to diffuse the situation. "If you are here to arrest me. Please know that you will not succeed without much difficulty, if at all." she would say in a playful tone but still make no attempt to ready for any combat. If she had wished to draw her gunblades, they would be in her hands in the blink of the eye. Nana inspected Lucretia's attire and demeanor. It didn't appear that the wolf woman was here with a purpose. More than likely her curious nose had gotten her into trouble once again. "If you are not here to arrest me, then please step away from my garments so that I may dress myself." she would say finally after listening to what Lucretia may have to say. WC-361 WC Total-976

Jove was correct… but Tch.
The other didn’t lash out which was appreciated; but as the other approached the werewolf did her best not to stare. Nana was nothing short of drop dead gorgeous and while lucretia usually didn’t stare at the water and one’s body made it difficult to do much more than that. The other addressed her and she’d find herself jolting a little bit; she tried to meet the other’s eyes as the blush spread a bit harder across her cheeks.
”Can’t say that’s the reason for me being out here. Last we met I don’t think you were guildmaster but I must say congratulations are due even if it is with unforeseen circumstances.”
Erebus’ disappearance had left a void in the world that was not easily filled and lucretia had a hearty respect for the man that had bested her in the fight against EN even before she was a rune knight. The request for her to step away from the other’s garments were meant with a bob of her head, stepping back well out of the way for the other. It was plain and obvious she felt that she wasn’t here to do what… well a rune knight would normally do.
”Can’t say that I’d be one to go skinny dipping here… though fur covers most of the issues.”
She’d snort a bit and stare out over the water; furrowing her brow. The woman had a deep seated fear of deep water and thankfully she could more or less see the bottom to a degree. The water of the ocean was that of her greatest fear…

DEVILS MAY CRY
Nana raised an eyebrow out of curiosity. The werewolf was not here as a rune knight with the duty of arresting her. Either Lucretia had personal business with Nana, or it was once again blind luck that they had met. Her arched eyebrow became a matching scowl with her other eyebrow as Lucretia mentioned Erebus. Erebus had been Nana's sensei, her teacher... and in a way, the older brother that she had never had. His name being uttered by one whom served the laws that Eternal Nightmare stood again... Well, it didn't sit right with Nana. She took it in stride however as she casually came closer to the werewolf and met the were-woman's eye for the brief moment that Lucretia could muster it before looking away. It was obvious that Nana's nudity bothered the other woman, likely in more ways than simply being awkward. That was hardly Nana's concern, although she found some mild enjoyment in thinking of ways that she could torment her new... friend? Finally after she was dressed, she turned to face the werewolf fully. "So you aren't here to arrest me. I assume you aren't here simply to ogle my body either." she said and gestured with her right hand towards her large bosom that was barely contained within the chest of her dress. Her blond hair blew in the wind softly, blowing a sweet scent towards Lucretia's delicate nose. Nana's perfume. The scent was sweet but difficult to place. Only Nana knew exactly what the scent was, but it would leave a bitter smell before too long. Just like a sweet fruit that had soured, rotten at the core. An idea came to her head as she smiled wickedly. The last time we met, you saw an unsavory side of me. I believe today would be a fine day to return that favor to you. I hear your kind respect a show of strength... Or am I wrong?" she would ask, changing the tone of her voice to be somewhat aggressive as she finished the question. It was a subtle sign meant to alert Lucretia that there would soon be more than words exchanged. "Then again. You peeped on me when I was naked. I can't very well let you leave without some bruises to remind you." she would say, giving several excuses as to why she should pick a fight with the were-woman. Of course the way she said it, it was implied that she was accusing Lucretia of being some pervert. A taunt maybe, or simply Nana's wicked sense of humor. Her gunblades magically appeared in her hands and she took a menacing step towards Lucretia. If Lucretia even twitched a muscle beneath her fur, or Nana thought she had, Nana would point the two gunblades towards the werewolf and squeeze the triggers. Two magic circles would appear from the tips of her gunblades and release two thin beams of magical energy towards the were-woman. The first spell shot from the left gunblade was aimed at Lucretia's right shoulder. The spell shot from the right gunblade was aimed at Lucretia's left knee. The action was planned this way to limit Lucretia's options. If she evaded to either side, she would find it quite difficulty to remain unscathed. If Lucretia didn't dodge, she would have to find some way to prevent being hit by both spell shots. The spell shots themselves fired with a range of fifty meters at sixty meters per second. The distance between the two sudden combatants would be fifteen meters or so if Lucretia hadn't moved further away during the initial verbal exchanges.

”Aye. Followed my nose like usual and it seems to always lead me to trouble.”
She’d grit her teeth, the scent was something she likely had never smelled before and almost felt like enough to make her sneeze. But she’d have to wave her hand slightly to rid herself of it. Or at least the best she could. The warrior type froze for a moment; her kind? Was she referring to the icebergian culture?
”You’re not wrong; However-”
Lucretia’s voice halted and hearing the other’s excuse gave her enough room to know what was coming. She might have been fast might have been one of the strongest werewolves around. But no one was fast enough to dodge two beams fired practically point blank. She felt her body kick into overdrive and some part of her; agonizingly distant seemed to rear it’s head. Reminding her that she was still a warrior; that the light still aided her even if she was a being of ‘darkness’.
Fifteen meters wasn’t anything to laugh at; it gave the daemon a bit of distance to work with and snarling in irritation Lucretia would run forward. Her body tanking both of those hits. She could feel the burning sensation of one of the bullets against her skin. Meaning that every time that she took one of those that her form would waiver a little bit. That wasn’t good.
First thing was to close the distance, the second was- What was the second thing? Mid stride there was a lot on her plate that she immediate realized that she didn’t have a weapon on her. This realization made it painfully apparent when she could feel the edging of something along her frame.
The coalescent light that ran along her body; shimmering and golden. Her eyes widened as it manifested rapidly into a spear she had literally never seen before. Breath caught in her throat and there was that strange uncanny feeling of holding something that was just simply a part of you. In fact it felt good to hold it. Gritting her teeth she’d shoot a glare at the ranger.
”I don’t know how much you know about me… but I don’t think either one of us wants this.”
It wasn’t said from a place of confidence so much as it was a matter of fact. She didn’t want to fight nana and she was willing to stop now but… If pressured, Lucretia would definitely be someone that wouldn’t give up. She could feel the aching pain of both bullets; both tickling sensations.
I never thought I’d say something like that…

Lance at the World's End: Rhongomyniad posesses an unmatched ability to pierce through obstacles. Damage dealt by the spear or its spells is doubled against equipment and ignores its resistances.
Anchor of the Sacred Lance: Rhongomyniad can merge into the user's body or their attire, allowing one to carry it inconspicuously, forming a sort of symbiotic connection that prolongs the user's lifespan. This allows the user to cast Rhongomyniad's spells without pulling it out of its pocket dimension. When the spear is summoned, it forms out of threads of light coiling around the user's chosen hand, and cannot be hidden again for the duration of the topic.
