Kishin stood at the edge of town, observing the commotion surrounding Jelies. Being new to the area, Kishin wasn't going to make his judgements too quickly. Rumors of the outlaw's challenge had spread quickly, and a large crowd had gathered to watch the outcome. Kishin's thoughts raced as he considered the situation. On one hand, he felt a sense of loyalty to Jelies, who is an established guard and should be fair enough. On the other hand, he knew that the outlaw was a formidable opponent and might be worthy of what he's doing.

As Kishin weighed the pros and cons, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He had never been one for showy displays of strength, preferring to rely on his cunning and wit instead. He was a pragmatic person, uninterested in grandiose battles or pointless displays of power. Instead of using his strength openly, Kishin had to measure where he used it in case of being countered.

As he watched the scene unfold, Kishin noticed a figure in the crowd, clad in a dark cloak. He couldn't make out their features, but the person seemed to be watching the situation with a critical eye. Kishin briefly wondered who they were, but quickly returned his focus to the task at hand. Despite his reservations, Kishin wasn't quite ready to throw his lot in with either side just yet. He was a man of few words, preferring to observe and gather information before making a move. He could see the appeal of the outlaw's challenge - it was a bold gambit, and one that could pay off handsomely if successful. But Kishin was also aware of the dangers involved, and was not one to take unnecessary risks with someone unknown.

In the end, Kishin made the decision to stay on the sidelines for the time being. He was a patient man, and he felt that there was more to this situation than met the eye. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more at stake here than just the fate of one man. He would bide his time and see how things played out.

As the crowd began to disperse after a challenge, Kishin couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy. He was a solitary figure, uninterested in the trappings of power or fame. Despite this, he had always felt a sense of purpose in his role as a quest taker, and the outlaw hadn't given one. As he watched the town slowly empty, he couldn't help but feel a sense of detachment from the world around him.

In that moment, Kishin was content to simply stand and watch, a silent observer of the events unfolding around him. He was not a magical being, but he was a force to be reckoned with all the same. He was mature beyond his years, and his unwavering determination and steady hand had earned him a reputation as one of the most reliable quest takers. Despite his reservations, Kishin knew that he would not be able to stay on the sidelines forever. Eventually, he would be forced to choose a side and make his move.

Kishin had stood in the crowd, watching as the outlaw and Jelies faced each other on the battle stage. His thoughts were still jumbled as he tried to weigh the pros and cons of getting involved in the situation. On one hand, he respected Jelies and admired his bravery in taking on such a dangerous opponent. On the other hand, he didn't want to put himself in harm's way, especially if the odds were against Jelies winning the battle.

Recalling the frail quest-giver, Kishin eventually made up his mind to help Jelies. He had a sense of loyalty to the head guard, who had the most chance to give lots of money, and he didn't want to see Jelies' reputation tarnished by a loss to the outlaw. So, when Jelies approached him with the request to manipulate the battle stage, Kishin readily agreed.

Kishin went about his task with care and precision, making sure that the traps he set were well-hidden and wouldn't be easily spotted by the outlaw. He spent hours scouring the town for materials and placing them in strategic locations around the battle stage. As he worked, he couldn't help but reflect on the situation. He couldn't help but think that Jelies was putting himself in a dangerous situation, but he admired his courage nonetheless.

The next day, as the battle began, Kishin's heart raced with excitement and apprehension. He watched as Jelies and the outlaw faced each other, each trying to gain the upper hand. At first, it seemed like the outlaw had the advantage, his brute strength and raw power giving him an edge over Jelies. But then, Jelies started to use the traps that Kishin had set, and the tide of the battle began to turn in his favor. The environment was fully-scouted out and easily tripped the opponent.

Kishin was amazed as he watched Jelies use his cunning and wit to outmaneuver the outlaw. Jelies was quick to take advantage of the traps, using them to his advantage and keeping the outlaw off balance. The crowd cheered as Jelies' skill and cunning became increasingly apparent, and the outlaw began to realize that he was outmatched. In the end, Jelies emerged victorious, his honor and reputation intact.

After the battle was over, Kishin approached Jelies, who was basking in the adoration of the crowd. Jelies thanked Kishin for his help, a grateful look in his eyes. Kishin simply nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. He was glad that he had been able to help Jelies, and was proud to have played a role in maintaining the head guard's honor.

Despite his reserved demeanor, Kishin was a man of action, and he was always ready to do what was necessary to protect those he cared about. He was unmagical and lacked the flamboyance of some of his peers, but his maturity and level-headedness made him a valuable asset in any situation. He was a quiet observer, often overlooked by those around him, but his actions spoke louder than any words ever could.

In the days that followed, Kishin watched as Jelies' reputation grew even stronger, the head guard's bravery and cunning the talk of the town. Kishin felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that he had played a small role in Jelies' victory, but he didn't allow it to get to his head. He was a quiet, reserved person, content to simply go about his business and help those in need. Despite the turmoil and uncertainty that often surrounded him, Kishin was always able to keep a level head and stay focused.
