The Luluhawan docks were a bustling hub of activity, with fishermen and sailors alike hurrying about their work. The dock stretched out over the crystal-clear waters of the island, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore could be heard in the distance. The wooden planks of the dock were worn and weathered from years of use, but they still held strong, a testament to the hardy craftsmanship of the islanders.

Kishin strolled along the Luluhawan docks, watching fishermen hustle about their work. He listened to their tales of the sea, hoping to glean some insight into the mysterious creature that kept them on land. In the midst of the crowd, he caught a glimpse of a well-weathered, heavily scarred fisherman with a hooked hand, an old wound from an encounter with a giant octopus.

As Kishin walked along the dock, he could see other fishermen sorting their nets and cleaning their boats, preparing for the day's catch. The air was filled with the smell of salt and fish, a familiar scent that brought back memories of his childhood. Kishin's attention was drawn to a group of fishermen who were huddled together, discussing something in hushed tones. He made his way over to them, hoping to glean some insight into the creature that had kept them on land.

The fishermen fell silent as Kishin approached, eyeing him warily. Kishin introduced himself and explained his reason for being on the island, hoping to gain their trust. After some hesitation, one of the fishermen stepped forward and told Kishin about a creature that had been spotted in the waters around the island, a massive squid with tentacles as thick as tree trunks. The creature had attacked several fishing boats, leaving the crews traumatized and unable to fish. The fishermen were hesitant to hunt the creature, as it was seen as a bad omen to kill creatures that lived in the deep.

Despite their reservations, Kishin was determined to hunt the creature and put an end to the fear that gripped the island. He spent the next few days preparing for the hunt, gathering supplies and hiring a fishing crew. Kishin knew that he would need a skilled and brave crew to take on the massive creature, so he searched for the most experienced fishermen on the island.

Kishin worked with the crew to outfit their boat for the hunt, making sure that they had enough provisions and weapons to take on the creature. They fitted the boat with harpoons, nets, and other tools they would need to capture the beast. Kishin also made sure that the crew knew what to expect, warning them about the dangers of hunting such a massive creature. He knew that they would need to be quick and precise if they wanted to take down the squid.

Finding it hard to hold back a smile, Kishin had also hoped his greatest preparation would arrive: Judith. Having contemplated a kraken hunt before, it would be hard not to be excited about the upcoming taste Kishin might find. Standing near a boat, Kishin also held in his hands his new trusty horse and a dragon claw. Kishin feels embarrassed to know he has already tested out his horse to be swim-capable. As for Kishin himself, he doesn't have a helmet yet and prefers not to try breathing with one. Overall, Kishin isn't as shaken as he might have been in past hunts.

Eventually popping up and coming to join in this matter, over all it was a harmless matter to join in upon fishing. Judith had not been fishing for a while so she could not help but feel like she was learning something new all over again. If her husband was here, she would just hear unless story about how it was weird to forget how to fish when they had done it for years and years. But that was not her life right now because her husband back at in magnolia. Over all in the end there was much to come here.

Thus roaming the docks, Judith was in a delightful mood as always she was here to do many things related to fishing and being on the docks. Between the fishermen, the nets, the robs and the various bait people use to help lure in and get their catch. It was something that Judith knew was suppose to be relaxing, But still viewed as a sport or a competition. Thus with how many people look at these things differently Judith wanted to learn. Judith however was here in her own white robe attire and nothing related to swimming seemingly from a first look basis.

But then again Judith was a woman of many tricks, she must be either really brave or prepared for if water was going to end up on her in this manner. Nonetheless she seemed to just be watching to see how the day was going so far. everyone talked about how there was this large and massive fish lingering around and she could not help but wonder how it would taste pan fried with cream based sauce with dill and a lemon on the side, Maybe some fresh vegetables like carrots and peas go along with it.

Maybe she was getting carried away or maybe she should learn exactly that wonder. This beast had her wonder so now she must watch it be found, maybe she could even help if it was entirely needed. But that would manner about how out of hand that beast of a fish was and she could interject in some manner to help. It was a curious thing to ponder. But alas Judith was getting to be late getting on the boat, in fact was casting off of the dock by the time she was there and she missed the time to get on it.

Then she remembered she was in fact the Chronos Dragon Slayer and sometimes being late was never really a worry for her at all anymore she just needed to remember things she could do now. Then she would just rewind time, long enough to go back to where she was staying to start with and a cup of tea, Move it forward to just as the boat was casting off and she would just walk over to where Kishin, Stopping time a few feet away and then allow it to go back to normal to kind of just gain a but of a surprise factor for a moment.

"So...What's the plan?"Judith asked taking a sip of her cup of tea in a small white tea cup while she waited to hear what would be spoken to her.

Kishin became spooked for a moment as Judith made her way over to him, her white robe swaying with each step. He couldn't help but notice that she seemed out of place on the docks, but he knew better than to underestimate her. After all, she was a mage leading a guild, and that alone meant she was capable of more than most people. As she spoke, he could see the small white tea cup in her hand, and he wondered where she had gotten it from.

"Plan?" Kishin repeated, looking at Judith with a mixture of surprise and confusion. "I don't have a plan. I was just watching the fishermen to see if they were having any luck." He gestured jokingly to the boats that were out on the water, the fishermen casting their nets and lines into the sea. Abandoning his random horse and piece of dragon meat, Kishin shook his hands funnily. "There's talk of a large fish out there, but no one has seen it yet. Some of the fishermen are afraid to go out too far, for fear of running into it."

Kishin took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, his gloomy expression betraying his lack of enthusiasm for the situation. He honestly felt these fishermen were absolutely useless and he should try to rip them off. With his guild leader around, he refrained. He wasn't particularly interested in fishing or hunting a sea creature with his bare hands, but he looked forward to a meal and figured he might as well help out if he could. He knew that Judith, on the other hand, could be more up for a challenge.

"Well, if we're going to do this, we need a plan," Kishin said, his voice monotone as usual. "We'll need to be prepared for whatever we might encounter out there. If we're lucky, we'll catch the creature and be able to bring back a good haul. If not...well, we'll deal with that when the time comes. I punch really hard to do my quests, but have no range, so any magic you have will help." Feeling like it's good to share his flaws, Kishin was actually already looking forward to his meal. Even if he can't use magic, it only helps that he'll pulverize the meat with his fists. Having too many chewy bits of meat can get tiresome.

"Watch your step." Kishin jumped onto a prepared boat suddenly, and then held his hands out to Judith. Regardless of how Judith came onto the boat, Kishin signaled it's time to go and he'd go to set out.

So no one had a plan, not a single one and Judith seemed okay with it. It was all fun and games to Judith even if at times knew maybe she should not be so casual about it. At least being able to go with the flow you had very little worry about these things. He was watching the fishermen and Judith in some manner was as well. But also watching him slightly. While also in some manner just doing pointless wandering about as she was normally at times, It was different still that her normal and thus still somewhat joyful.

Well she was now curious the answer to that question."Did they have any luck?"Which was a fair statement that was to be expected Since she was just trying to be sure something interesting was going on to either tell them to believe in themselves and they could do their best waiting for the fish to bite, Or anything else to get their mind active in a positive way. Thus it was time to focus on other things like getting on the ship and prepare to head off to the sea, it should be as always a wonderful trip.

Then again there was other things to deal with after settling on to the boat trip after taking a hand offered. Judith would give Kishin some insight of what things she could do."Well if you can punch."Judith stopped for a moment and placing her right index finger upon her lip and tapping it a few times like she was coming up with a witty pun or joke."I can give you plenty of time to do it."It as clever way to hint at her magic, If easily picked up on it was would most likely be the most. She thought him a smart one so maybe it was too easy to pick up. Judith did also laugh at it like it was horrible pun or joke, only to realize that she had been known for being a nature mage. Then she figured her it would be fine in the end to continue on anyway.

Setting sail with Judith was fairly tame as she seemed to be looking upon the open the water, Just not like she was enjoying the view but as if she was focusing on things around her while the sailed in case something would look amiss. Judith then simple turned around and looked at the rouge wave coming at them."Oh dear...."She said to herself a moment. Then a bit louder then the sound of crashing water against the boat."Rouge Wave."Judith hoped she had said that in time as they all went into the water.

Kishin watched as Judith lifted the spirits, injecting positivity into the upcoming voyage. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy towards her carefree attitude. He wished he could be like that, but his mind was always racing with plans and strategies. Even though he had no solid plan, he just knew there's too many possibilities to come. He couldn't stand the thought of not having a plan sometimes, of not being prepared for any situation that might arise. But maybe that was part of his problem, he thought to himself. Maybe he needed to learn to let go a little and go with the flow, like Judith.

When they boarded the ship and set sail, Judith turned to Kishin and offered him some insight into her magic seemingly. He had no magic to speak of though, no special powers or abilities that set him apart. It'd be hard for him to grasp specifics. He was just a simple rogue at times, relying on his physical prowess and quick thinking to get by. He didn't celebrate his victories or dwell on his defeats, he just moved on to the next thing to train him. Kishin didn't inquire deeper into her magic at this occasion. "My magic if I had some...I'd say it's to be unlucky and trying to reverse it."

As they sailed on, Kishin couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. He felt like they were being watched, like there was something lurking beneath the waves. He tried to brush it off as paranoia, but he couldn't shake the feeling. And then, just as Judith had warned, a rogue wave hit them, sending them all tumbling into the water.

Kishin found himself struggling to keep afloat, his muscles burning as he fought against the current. He could feel the saltwater stinging his eyes and the taste of it on his tongue. For a moment, he thought he might not make it, that he might drown in the churning waters. But then he felt a surge of adrenaline, a rush of excitement that he couldn't explain. It was almost masochistic, he thought, to enjoy the feeling of being in danger.

Eventually, Kishin managed to swim to a piece of debris and cling to it, catching his breath and taking stock of the situation. He saw Judith nearby perhaps. He knew that he had his own strengths, his own skills that he could bring to the table. He just needed to figure out how to use them to their fullest potential. For now, maybe he'll leave protecting the crew to Judith. Unfortunately, there's no way Kishin cares to spare his thoughts for the crew. Without any mounts, the Fairy Tail questers would have a swimmingly fun journey back.

Or they could wait for rescue, where Kishin couldn't help but reflect on his self-sabotaging tendencies. He had a tendency to overthink things, to second-guess himself at every turn. But maybe it was time to let go of that, to embrace the unknown and see where it took him.

Dunking his head under water, Kishin surveyed the coming fight. His main concern began to be that his meat will go bad. If he wanted to ensure his meal, he could try to bait the kraken to solid ground. He didn't feel like it'd be efficient to try his luck once more with the sea. The moment Kishin turned around, he could risk being bit. As per the usual procedure, Kishin instead will just punch.

"Watch out." Kishin said, as the kraken came toward him. Grabbing it and punching, he sent it toward Judith's side so as to not have it hit her. At this time, it was probably already dead by the punch. Kishin didn't like to play with monsters and his fists were stronger than most spells. He did not hesitate or feel pity for the monster. At the moment, Kishin was dreading moreso that he'd have to help drag the monster back. Fish didn't start to float for days. He'd be regretting not finding those fishermen to be their workers. At least if bandits came after them Kishin could of stole their ship.

Judith's positive way of thinking was still almost undying at this point, It was most likely more scary for the moment when it did just all die or stop for no reason at all."In the end you get the job before you done, What matters the most? The task being done or how it was done?"Judith then have a casual wink. It was an attempt to brighten him up at least even if she seemed to pick up it was a bit harder than most to do that with and he seemed to have his struggles that way.

Judith would just keep trying anyway."Until you gain the kind of power you truly wish, Don't be scared I will do what I can."But there was other things going to be happening so maybe she could not continue the string of just positive and happy words. Which was shame because Judith thought it was a happy string of helpful words was cheering him up slightly, Even if there was hints that might not be the case. It was a strange thing of feeling that Judith was not going to give up trying what she was doing.

Judith seemed to fall in the water just much like everyone else she did not do anything about it while she fell. No happy sounds or casual noises while she was falling into the water, At least she knew how to swim so that was the good part. Then well she ended up under the water and well she felt the sinking and the drifting for a few moments pondering to herself just how many actions she could do here while she was in the water. It was not fun to have to just spring into action, But before anything else.

Popping out of the water Judith then looked around while she looked around for a piece of land or solid mass that was floating it seemed the chaos was about to start and well not everyone had been ready, Even Judith was not ready herself since she expected to just well catch fish and nothing else. Maybe her normally careless and casual nature needed to be put on hold for a moment and she needed to do something, so they just needed to find it first to find out what that something was.

After taking some time to swim over to something that would keep herself in place, Judith seemed to look at that was around her and keep note of it. But not being clearly sure she just let out a sigh. this was not a fun fishing trip. Now she would just needed to remember where it was. So at least to Judith time stopped for what felt like a few minutes, Then Judith seemed to have an Elvish Bow."Alright, Time to see how rusty I am."If anything she didn't sound so carefree now. Pulling back the string, A Magic arrow started forming. To Judith waiting for where the beast was going to show up next.

Kishin was feeling uneasy about his safety. He had always been a bit of a loner, preferring his own company to that of others, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. He watched as Judith swam over and started to take note of her surroundings. He didn't interfere with her, just observed from a distance.

Kishin felt like he was always struggling. He wasn't magical like some of the others on this fishing trip, and he was constantly sabotaging himself with his negative thoughts and habits. Unneeded hesitations.

It wasn't that Kishin enjoyed being miserable, but there was a certain comfort in it. He was used to the feeling of disappointment and failure, and it was almost easier to just expect the worst. He didn't want to be happy or celebrate anything, because he didn't want to set himself up for disappointment.

As he continued to watch Judith, he noticed her pull out an Elvish Bow and prepare to shoot a magic arrow. Kishin couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. He wished he had that kind of skill and ability. But then he reminded himself that he was just a regular guy, without any magical powers or special talents. There was nothing to wonder about in how to be ranged.

He sighed and looked out at the chaotic waters, wondering what else was going to happen on this fishing trip. He didn't feel proud or satisfied with himself, but he also wasn't dissatisfied. He was just...neutral. It was a feeling he was used to, and one that he had learned to accept.

Kishin knew that he wasn't going to magically become a different person overnight. He was who he was, flaws and all. But maybe, just maybe, he could try to be a little bit more like Judith. Maybe he could try to think positively and be a little more carefree. It wasn't going to be easy, but he was willing to try.

"Some tasks don't have a clear way. You can only try to get it done by any means." Noting his surroundings, Kishin then acted as bait. When the kraken returned for another strike, he'd hold on to it and complete strangling whatever life it had left. With Judith assisting potentially, the kraken would die even faster. Maybe, there was another way. The kraken didn't have to die and only pieces could be taken. For Kishin though, this was the way that made the most sense. After the deed was done, the kraken would be brought back to be divided up. Not knowing how long it'd take, Kishin would hopefully schedule another day to eat.

And thus the deed was done Judith did not seem happy and or proud of herself but it was just more about saving everyone else if she was entirely honest."Not my...proudest moment."Judith seemed to mutter to herself. if anything that felt more of out of anger than anyone else, something she would not overly be happy or proud about, all and all at least things where okay"But I guess, This is the better of the solutions needed at the time."For how quickly her mood had shifted at that time. But the beast was dead.

And Judith would well find some thing to salvage and smiled about it for the most part. They would be stuck in time at the current stage of age so it did not go bad."Well, guess we have something to try back at the guild."Judith said before she would leave with Kishin.
