History History: Kaori of the Hinohara village filled with residents of various demi-humans. She was the daughter to the chef who ran the village. Blessed at a young age to hold the power over lighting, and absolute honor to the village for she was meant to defend them. It was in her youth that she would encounter Ryuuji in a cave all alone. Lighting and thunder thrashing in the sky and yet she found her way to him during her evening meal of flying sparks. Though she herself doesn't remember this. It would be told to her by her husband. See as Kaori played in the forests near her village, she garnered the attention of a fairy who fell for her grace and charm. Watching her time and time again. She was alone at the time tending to the wild flowers when she was finally approached. The fairy asking the girl for her name, to which Kaori had answer with her last. The hungry fairy snatched it up and the girl would be non the wiser. He asked her of her home and life. To which she would speak of the woes of her family and how much they would burden her. Of how she met a boy she loved. The greedy fairy would snatch those too. Satisfied with his bounty, he left the girl with a gift so that she would never forget him either. Turning the girl into a fae, he magic leaving her to be replaced with something new. The flora around her would grow rapidly and more haphazardly than it ever as before. She was tangled in her flowers and confusion, the fairy already long gone. It was Ryuuji who would run out to find her, knowing where she would tend to wander often. And it was he who tore the vines and flowers all alone until he claimed her back. But did he claim her back, it was like she was new. Her memorizes of even him were taken, though the love still remained. To her seeing him save her was like love at first sight. Yet when she returned to the village, Ryuuji was attacked an scorned. Blamed for the change in the chef's daughter. How she fell from grace and was ruined. Her father had little choice as far as he was concerned to prepare a tournament for her hand so as to salvage her worth to him. Yet Ryuuji would only prove to win and steal her away. Everything to Kaori feels new, now that much was lost. Only the memories of her precious brother remain, but he left the village ages ago to never be heard from. She hopes that as she travels with her love, she could see him again. Among the things she carries with her as she left the village is a broken katana of her brother and his floating arm guards.
