Most would no doubt find it a peculiar sight to see a child darting around in an area of Talaz Lagaar that was considered off-limits. It was to be expected, when she had learned that her 'mama' had once visited this place in search of something she had insisted on traveling here with Ohta, to the fox deity's great dislike. Talaz Lagaar was a place forsaken by the gods, they didn't worship Kami, they didn't care about nature and religion and as such it was to be expected the place was one the man didn't like to visit.

However, Kana's insistence and his secret observance of her had made him mellow down to the decision because in the end she had come here not for selfish reasons. Far from it, she had come here for the sake of another: She had been searching diligently through the ruins and debris of the fallen landscape in search of a gift for Mishiko, and that warmed his heart even if he would never admit it.

Her erratic darting around had finally come to a stop as her feet pattered to a standstill. She had found an old ruin and among the ruin and debris, she spotted something shining a metallic glint from under some rocks. Eagerly she approached, attempting to pull out the device, gleefully oblivious to the fact someone else was there as well. But that was the type of person Kana was, blissfully ignorant of the dangers around her.

Well if life taught Ghost and Rayne one thing. It was that life was a party if you let it be. As he held the map he would be looking at a ruin he and Rayne have been traveling in. It was an offshoot job they had to do.
Because they are broke after Ghost spent all of their money on something stupid.
But if you ask him it was more than worth it. It was the bomb.
But playtime was. Over kinda and that was alright it was time to get back to work and get back to work fast. The sun was beaming down and all Ghost had to do was go and get some super rare and ancient relic of some kind. Rayne on the other hand tagged along because she did not want to be left alone and never did like the idea of the dark.

Back to traveling the ruins. As Ghost was walking along the way. He would notice writings on the wall and all of their glory. It was more and more about a person named Zero or something about a zero. Either way, the story seemed a bit too long for Ghost Taste.
Soon enough the duo would make it to the end and there they saw two people up ahead of them.
One seems like a small child and the other a very large man or knight or something like that. Ghost still did not know what he was getting himself into he would then say out loud to the duo up ahead. "Hey will anyone of you tell me where I can find a relic of zero or something like that?"

Ghost would wait for their response as he wanted to know if he should keep moving or not.

The oblivious child had been occupied attempting to pull the device from the debris, letting out some muffled sounds from behind her bamboo muzzle when finally she succeeded in getting it loose thanks to a strong tug. However, the force had caused her to lose balance! The poor child staggered backwards a few steps till she landed straight on her behind!

The child couldn't help but let out a little wince as she climbed back onto her feet and proceeded to dust herself off, soon focusing her attention back on the relic she had found. Was this one of the things her 'mama' had been searching for before she went to sleep? Her excitement stirred she suddenly heard a voice behind her, causing the girl to turn around to face the stranger.

They seemingly were here for a similar reason, for the mentioning of a relic made Kana lower her gaze to the object she was holding. A relic from Zero? This area was known as Zero, and the thing she was holding was a treasure from this area, no doubt one of these relics but...

Her gaze lifted back to Ghost, fixated upon his facial features after she lowered her gaze back to the relic, and back up to Ghost.

"!!!" Letting out a muffled sound the child quickly hid the relic behind her back while violently shaking her head. "!!!" Nope, her shiny! Pointing toward the nearby debris she let out another muffled sound as if to indicate that Ghost should search there instead. "mhmm!!!!"

As Ghost looked on he would be all smiles. Not a guy that gets angry so easily. Yet one that understands things happen for a reason.
A being who by far is rare for most to even look upon. Ghost would find himself eyeing the small relic the young girl tried to hide.
It was something to behold. Besides how did she even get this far all by herself? Could it be that she is not by herself? Or she was a lot stronger than she was letting on. Ghost would then give a smile as he slowly looked over to where her head had pointed at.
It was a pile of rocks more or so some debris. Ghost would still have that friendly smile on his face.
As He reached for his sword. He would slowly but surely pull it out.
As he held his sword a smiling grin would come about.

Quick as he can get and fast as he could go. Ghost would dash toward the pile of rocks. With more than a few quick slashes. He would try to cut down the debris. As the dust formed around him. He would begin to cough as he started to fan the dust away from himself.
Next thing next Rayne would look on as Ghost started to walk back over towards the duo. As he looked on at the little girl.

If she looked closer as he lowered his hat. The young girl wouldn't know it. But Ghost was not a human. He was half human and half angel. He would then say to her.
"Apologies mate, but my name is Ghost, and this here is my partner, and her name is Rayne. We are wizards from a light guild known as fairy tail. I say this to let you know that we are the good guys." he would take a moment to let that sink in and then went on to say. "I see you fancy that there relic and so does a lot of other folk. Now I just can't take it from ya so why don't you let us escort you out of here? That way at least of us will make our escape with it."

As he said that he would look on waiting for her response. "After all as a moon born I know your kind is big on words and loyalty and so mine."

Kana was clearly curious about the stranger's presence, her gaze following every tiny motion his body made. Perhaps it was for that reason that when he reached for the hilt of his katana, the child tilted her head slightly sideways in confusion. What was he about to do? Unsheathing the blade, the dash that followed made Kana's gaze trail sideways, watching with interest as the man started to slash at the debris, the loud noises of the metal clashing against the debris, the clanking sounds would surely draw any nearby guards, but fortunately for them it seemed none had appeared so far. When he returned toward her and introduced himself as 'Ghost' and the creature in his presence 'Rayne', the comment that followed about a guild called Fairy Tail seemed to confuse her even further, but she was taught proper etiquette so crouching down she picked up a nearby metal rod and started to scribe something in the sand, a collection of letters being formed:

Kana's name is Kana! Nice to meet you Mister Ghost!" Yet when he mentioned the relic she turned her gaze back up at Ghost and seemingly was pondering something. While she had no idea about what this Moon Born thing was, she did get a solid grasp on the fact Ghost had come here for the same reason as her: to find one of these relics. She couldn't give him the one she had found, because that one was meant to be a present for her mother, but maybe...

Suddenly darting toward a nearby collection of debris the child hid the relic inside her pouch and started to scurry around the debris to look for something, when at long last she seemingly had found what she had come for. The werewolf child darted back to Ghost and stretched her hand toward him, her fingers balled up into a fist as she was clearly grasping something, and if Ghost decided to extend his hand he would find a similar relic being deposited in his hands. "Mhmm!" She replied with a muffled response, her eyes softening as she seemed to be in a cheerful mood. However, when he suggested to escort her to safety the child brought a hand to the side of her head, tapping it as if she was pondering on the idea when suddenly her small hand attempted to grasp a hold of Ghost's own. "Mhmm!" And with that as an affirmative call, she started to waddle back toward the entrance, gleefully pulling along the fairy tail mage.

"mhmm!" "mhmm!" mhmm!" she exclaimed joyfully, clearly in a good mood as they were starting to approach the outskirts of the area. Wasn't it curious there had been not a single guard in sight despite all the noise that had been made by Ghost earlier? Perhaps the guards were gone? Or maybe they were occupied by something or someone else instead. Who would possibly be able to tell?

Still, with the exit in sight it seemed they would be able to leave soon.

As he looked on he watched the pick up a stick of some sort. Just then he would see her start to draw in the dirt.
As he looked on she was not just drawing but writing letters. Looking on at her name.
It was Kana and it was four different ways to say such a name. Ghost would look on and be all smiles as he now knew her name. Now the trio was not strangers to each other anymore and that was a good thing.
Looking on he would watch as she zoomed back over to the pile of rust. He started slicing up to find relics but he could not.
Soon the little girl would be going over the pile herself. It was as if she was a pro at this. Her claws ears and nose made it a lot easier for her. The way she was moving it was clear she was a pro as Rayne states what she was doing. Ghost would look on as the little quickly made her return to the pair. As he looked on he would notice her little small hand balled up and he would then say "So what do you get there?"

He was sure he saw her pick up something and then soon the little moon-born girl would hand out her hand to which he did the same and bam!!! There was a relic as well. This made Ghost smile happily and although he did not know if this was the right one or not. He knew he still was going to get paid either way.
Now he was ready to leave and his offer to escort the little one out was accepted. As she grabbed hold of his right hand and Rayne climb on his back. It was time to take off and with that a job well done.

But still, Ghost couldn't help but wonder where in the world was this so-called guard?
