Kaito let the daemon woman have the first move in the fight and he watched as she transformed and started to fly around.

Kaito went to block spells fired at him with the shield on his arm but the spells went through his shield activating his armors shield spell that could stop up to 2xS rank damage and her damage fell short of that so the shield took the spells.
