Like the abyssal plane which he had read so much about and whose heralds he had interacted with, the void was a true nightmare to beyond, monsters lurking around every corner, crazed whispers leeching into his mind the very instant he arrived. Some plead for mercy, others willed him into violence. Recognizing them all to be naught but a distraction, he remained steadfast fortifying his concerns for those around him and rose to his feet. While he had become more generous, forgiving, charitable in these past couple of months, he could not fall to the void and become another loyal rabid servant to it, or at least any more then he had unwittingly become. It was a curious realm of existence with which the area around him was quite literally blooming with magical energy as though he was in a sea of it, while the denizens had the opposite presence appearing like dark spots drawing upon the power around them.
