I’ve never been to a city that’s all stone and silver before… it’s strange? Slim and slender fingers lifting up from the canopy of her cape in order to pull back the hood she was wearing, Mei Matsumoto peered at her surroundings with a silent sense of curiosity as she peeked from the veil which years of habit meant that she still felt most comfortable sporting in unfamiliar company, and narrowed that golden gaze as she took in a city which nestled within the mountains to mix the elements of starkness and splendour together.
Still, this is a good chance to prove myself to Alisa-San, right? Arriving here at the request of the raven who ran the grouping which she was still getting used to, like any dutiful ‘daughter’ this dark haired dish seemed to take the steep road which led from the port city to this metropolis within the mountains, and felt glad both for the fact that she was now clear of the salty air and had something to do which might impress the woman who had welcomed her into her new clan.
Still… I don’t know what to make of him? He seems kind of…? This latter fact seeming to be enough to even compel the tapered trail of fluffiness which bloomed from the base of her spine to sway from side to side from beneath the cloudy cloak which she sported, while this ebony haired enchantress was happy to have the opportunity to make good on the faith which had been shown within her she felt less certain on the choice of chaperone she had been given for her excursion, and frankly this was a fact that she did not know how to feel about.

It was reassuring but agitating in equal measure, and seemed to ultimately make her feel restless but also intrigued as well.
Wait, this is the first time I’ve been alone with a boy like this…? Barely seeming to hold her eyes upon him for long and certainly seeming to avert them should she run the risk of meeting his gaze as well, after a fleeting glance in his direction she seemed to find a thought occurring in her mind which made her irises widen all the more, and with that seemed to make her feel all manner of flushed and flustered in return.
Is this like… a date? N-No, that’s silly, right…? Completely losing herself in fact as she recognised that this was the very first time she had been in the company of a young man without either her mother present or some greater means to focus on things other than each other, the fox couldn’t help but shiver as she wondered just what others might think if they saw them together like this and found her cheeks growing ever rosier as a result, to the point that she couldn’t help but fidget and shuffle until she felt that hood over her falling more forward and hiding the colour staining her face…
