It had begun. The zephyr air sang its song. The night sky and its light the background and stage for the performance of muse and the movements that would follow. The stars perhaps destined to shine as a spotlight for the warriors that would grow in fame and infamy on this day. The moon as the sole seated audience high above for a grand view. Their small number of weak lightning was quickly dwindling. The candies of light shrinking to less than a real hand held existence. Martial weapons were gripped. The straps of defensive items tightened. And armor defenses examined. Preparation of the body in full right, but for Jikan. That was well beyond done. Now, it was the kind and spirit. And when she thought of the battles to come, her fiery battle spirit grew in anticipation. Running through her limbs like a short jolt of electricity. A feeling that was shared by the members of Sleeping Calamity present here. That desire for growth and competitiveness spurred on by the shared love for battle. What did the other groups gathered at this combat think and feel though? How were they holding up? The Sleeping Calamity members? At a first glance one would have thought they were fine. Great in fact. But the veterans of the field could see it. The physical wounds, the mental wear and tear; 0ure fatigue. A string that was hanging on by a thread waiting to snap at a moment's notice. Mettle or not. There was only a limit one could as an individual, and even more for some groups.
It was a challenge. A game of life and death that could be a learning experience for those that survived. Jikan had no idea Tamas wanted to learn from interacting with her. Such a proposition was out of the realm for her. After all, maybe she could grow from it as well. Experience was Experience after all, and any chance to gain further information about the other forces within North that she needed to be cautious of and its individuals was a welcoming thing. Perhaps Jikan would grow to envy rge man's company, perhaps he would just be another passerby in her life, or maybe something she could use for something.
With her letter sent it did not take long for some of the Sleeping Calamity members to make their way to her. Standing two like a mixed bag of armed military personnel and a rowdy bunch of a connected posse. A few smiles, a few frowns filled with personality, and even some stone cold stunners of unemotional stares. None treated Tamas differently in their interactions. Some liking and hearty with the man even from the sight of his well done battles on the field. Tales spreading as such amongst themselves.
Either way, that interpersonal development was of little meaning right now for them. It was time for battle! In an unordered line of attention they stood. The clicks of Jikan's steps sounded as she stood before them. Sword pulled out and pointed down into the ground sheath and all. Her stance was calm but priming in focus that many had grown to know and see. "Read up on the notes quickly. The enemy has been located, we move out immediately", she said short and sweet to the point. A start before their group and the others attention was shifted to the General began handing out their communication devices. A rare few had never seen such a device before and curiously fumbled about with it. Shaking and feeling the device before a few more seasoned members of Sleeping Calamity shushed the activity. Gaining a stop of the activity with an addition of light nervous laughter and titters.
A short parental sigh came from Jikan as she took the lacrima stone communication devices in her hand. Not surprised by some of the tone and attitude of her forces before returning to her calm emotionless mask. Letting the forces move she took her time moving a number of people position from her legion by pointing to them and making hand motions towards areas. A wordless communication through training and experience work together, able to take heed of their Guild Masters directive before a word had to be given. After doing so Jikan’s red eye of death flickered, shifting to see Tamas who had moved towards her fully. A nod of welcome was given in return before she knelt low and pressed a hand to the ground. It seemed the circumstances of war pulled the two together once again.
"Lets start our barrage then Tamas", Jijan said softly after hearing his words. Mana flowing to her lacrima stone as she built up her magic in her arm. "Section 1…move", as she spoke she furthered charged her spell. The arcane spell circle forming a large magical circle around her body. "Section 8, pressure".
Following her commands over the magic device. One group silently moved to enter stealthy while another group began to make their way. Entering not so silently from the opposite direction planning to penetrate deeper before beginning chaos and taking the enemy by surprise.
"Tamas. With your magic you are a titian mixed in with a battering ram. Care to take down the wall and light the path forward?".
