Saturn
The first set of thugs that he thought he had dealt with weren’t even the ones that he should have been worried about in the first place. It was the second that had been waiting to see what he’d do. An arrow, then two, then dozens rained down on the duo. He’d have to use his control over the shadows to slap them out of the air before hopping back, yanking echo off of the ground and tossing him back into the warehouse. He felt something dark, something deep in the pit of his heart stir. Something that was not happy with what was going on. It was a twisted sense of justice that he felt. Knowing that these people were directly responsible for hurting his friend in a way that he couldn’t even consider.

The demi-gods hands were like a flurry, catching arrows as they came down in one way or another. From his spot at the entrance of the warehouse he was able to see that they were wearing familiar looking skull masks. Something that just clicked in his head; a distant memory. A distant painful memory. He felt something run red hot in the back of his skull.

A throbbing, senseless pain that ran deep. Something so deep his hands stopped moving but the shadows didn’t. They kept on growing larger, deeper. His anger that was so easily kept in check flared up. The lights of the entire district snuffed out in an instant. He felt the anger burn hotter than any emotion he had ever felt. He felt the twisting sensation of this emotion run so deep that it seemed to pull something deep and primal out of him.

A growl that sang through the dark.

The arrows stopped and the cold sweat of the men that rained them down upon him a few mere moments before he could taste. He could taste their fear; he felt that fear and he felt that anger rise faster than before. The nearest man had maybe a moment before saturn was in front of him. No longer in the same stance or stature as before; he was wearing his armor and wielding his spear. There was a fury to his movements and a burning passion of hatred in his soul. Something that seemed very out of place in the happy beings nature.

The loud crack of flat of blade meeting skull was loud enough to where the nearest thugs got to see their friend set on by what looked like to be saturn but distinctly cold and metallic. The rain of arrows that followed were knocked out by a slash of that same spear. Knocking them away with sheer wind pressure before he simply vanished in front of them. A series of loud cracks following, one enemy after another fell with shattered masks. Some were from around here; others he had never seen them before and he doubted anyone else would.

He’d stand there for a moment, not even considering his work. He counted the enemies in comparison to the rain of arrows and noted that there were a few people missing. A click and he’d turn to see them lined up, different weapons held out in that line. From sword to bow and a few daggers. One even had a morningstar. He’d step forward practically in a flash, towering over them. The sound of breaking metal was next. The snapping of metal sheet metal and the wrenching of wrists followed by screams of pain.

He could tell which was the leader just by the smell; he could tell the one that held all the cards was the one with the morningstar. He was last, his weapon shattered in a simple blow and the man was lifted off of the ground by a mechanical hand, his chain shirt crunching nicely as he was brought face to face with the mechanical visor that protected saturn’s flesh underneath.

You’re going to tell me everything you know about the whereabouts of my friends family.

Tch. I know better than to talk. If I say anything boss’ll kill me!

There was a darkness to his words that saturn knew to be true, he could sense it. But his nature was going to get his friend’s family killed if he just let the other go. He’d drop the spear to the ground and with a little bit of mana fed into his armor he’d shoot up a good fifteen or so meters off the ground, holding the man out by one hand and tilting his head to one side. There was an ice cold tone that many would never hear from saturn normally. There was death growling in that voice.

Your boss isn’t here anyways and you’re about to die. Adding to the music of the world again. So tell me what I want to know and maybe I won’t drop you.

The seething flowering hatred that barely was contained by the suit would likely find its words pounding deep into the man’s skull. To make a point he’d take that mask off of their face before tossing it to the ground, letting it sink in how far above the ground the man was. Gulping he’d spill everything he knew, from what he wanted to things he didn’t care about. Saturn felt his patience starting to wear thin.

There was a tickle in the back of his skull that told him dropping the man would be fine, no one would miss him. The darkness almost took hold and eventually saturn would slowly descend to the ground. Almost holding the man to it before… slamming him headfirst into the pavement with enough force to where the man would be knocked unconscious but certainly not enough to kill him even though saturn felt bitter about that. He felt like this man and the ones around him were the sort to…

Easy.

He’d exhale slowly and rub the front of his face with a mechanical hand. Letting the armor slip away before his feet touched the ground. Whenever he held sleeping dragon and was wearing that armor he always felt… things like that arise within. A darkness not his own. He’d stare at what he left on the ground before turning to where echo sat trembling in the dark. Sighing again he’d motion with his hands, the lights came back one after another and he’d stare at echo before motioning with a kindness the thugs didn’t get to come along. The mindrache didn’t hesitate to jump into the demi-god’s arms as the tall one strode away from the scene of violence. There would be guards that would take care of that later and he’d just have to explain to the other knights he was in a hurry unlike the group he had tied up earlier. It’d be simple, so simple he didn’t even realize that he was already to them again. Most of them had passed out from fear and the ones that didn’t looked jittery. He’d pause and his grin almost seemed to flutter… What had he done?

He felt like… maybe his brand of justice needed adjustment and he wasn’t sure what to make of that.
