Details Height: 0.6m Weight: 8 Kg Appearance: A serpentine creature which looks like the mix of a snake and a gecko, Fou is a small creature whose species have a chameleonic ability to change their colours, with this one seeming to typically prefer mixing vermillion, peach and yellow in an effort to match Lin-Mei, whom he views as kin. Possessing large and striking red eyes which are rather cute, around these and along his tail he has a streak of yellow, with the colour also making up a forked frill around his neck which almost resembles a collar. Stubby limbed, his arms and legs are deceptively powerful for his size, though his real strength comes from his tail, which is flat and looks a little like the leaf of a Sinese maple tree. Description: A rare example of a species which many even in Sin have thought to be extinct, the creature known outside the land as a 'Luck Dragon', Fou was hatched from an egg and raised my Lin-Mei as a pet and constant companion, though ironically the rarity of his breed means many seem to dismiss his appearance due to few ever having seen one in life these days. Unfortunately the species once idolized and coveted for the luckiness they could bestow on those who owned them, fanatics hunted the creatures close to extinction in order to profit themselves or sell them, leading most to believe they had vanished from the world entirely, though the truth seems to be that they continue to leave in small, hidden pockets of the wild. Personality: The inability which Fou has to convey himself through speech making his personality more difficult to 'read', what one can tell from his behaviour is that he is curious but shy, loyal but perhaps at times proud and condescending. An inquisitive spirit who often looks to new people and things in his environment, he tends to be cautious and even suspicious around strangers, and seems to take time to warm up to others. Preferring Lin-Mei's company over all others and seeming to have imprinted upon her somewhat like a newborn chick, while he looks to her for guidance and retreats to her when worried, he is also nurturing and protective of her as he seems to view her as his kin. Possessing an inherent sense of pride in the fact that he is a dragon and as such seeming to view himself as superior to other animals and sometimes people, folk can sometimes consider him snooty, though given how he likes to keep his distance and make friends on his own terms he doesn’t mind being viewed as somewhat standoffish either.
