Details Height: 20cm Weight: 1.8Kg Appearance: A bird of similar size to a dove, Kuro is somewhat rotund similar to a robin in overall shape, though his colouration is unusual. Primarily a dark blue across his back and wings which is almost black and looks so in the dark, his stomach is more a pale shade of lavender while being bordered by a jet black which also covers his face and eyes like a kind of mask. Those seeming to have magenta irises which look red in the dark, they can glow ominously, making him rather an intimidating figure to find in the night. Description: A breed of bird which has become rare in Joya, the Kurogara are typically nocturnal birds which were once far more abundant, though in times have become viewed as pests and driven away from most settlements. The reason for this their inclination toward aggression, unlike many birds which tend to avoid people this species have tended to be highly confrontational when one encroaches into their territory, and as such became a nuisance as settlements expanded or new ones were founded. With Kuro him coming from a lone egg which Tomi found when she was younger, unfortunately his nest had been raided by a predator with his egg as the only survivor, and the lass couldn't help but to sympathise with him due to being a lonely orphan herself. Hiding him away and doing what she could to hatch his egg, she has raised him like a child and he has proven her most enduring companion, even if sometimes something of a problematic one. Personality: Kuro seeming to view Tomi as something that is a mix of a mate and a matriarch, he seemed to imprint upon the girl as a hatchling and has become possessive and protective of there. Often taking umbrage with those who seek her company, though she enjoys his companionship sometimes she has to be strict with him when he misbehaves, though has proven extraordinary loyal toward her and follows her direction albeit begrudgingly in some places.
