Yuurei

Yuurei had been hanging out within Seven, but more so, he had not ventured anywhere within Fiore since he left the leadership to Lumikki. He had been there for certain events, but other than that his time around Fiore had been quite quick. Still, with his sights now on Seven and his interest in Joya, he decided to learn things from Central Fiore.

There, of course, were the Rune Knights, the protector of the keeps, and possibly the only ones left to protect Fiore after everyone had left. The Seraphim was hoping to see how things were governed here, so he could make sure not to use it when his island was finished being constructed, and the civilians were allowed to enter and live there freely.

It wasn’t just that, but he also wanted to see someone. That person would be Toga, who he had met when he was just a small pub. Then he fought him when he had gotten massively stronger, and he figured he would see him again to see his progress as of lately. Yuurei was not alone, Renji had joined him on this journey along with Migi, and Venom. Renji was depressed as the power of the relic that imbued him with Yuurei’s power had been destroyed down to the creation and repairs of the orb that he mended in Joya. The two walked through the streets of Era wondering what was going to happen that day.

“Cheer up Renji. We have a lot to do today.” He said to him.

Renji looked down and to the side as he was not happy about anything right now.

“Who cares, I just want to make sure that things don’t require me to back you up.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei sighed as he patted his head as he was on his shoulder not wanting to walk or anything like that.

“You got this I’m sure you will still be useful to me. Unless you want me to get Revy, so you could be happy.” He said to Renji.

Renji looked away blushing from hearing her name. The two moved through the streets as they were hiding themselves amongst the crowd.

Tōga strode confidently through the bustling streets of Era, his bright brown eyes alight with curiosity as he took in the city’s grandeur. The sunlight bounced off polished stone buildings, illuminating the intricate architecture that framed the lively streets. The air buzzed with energy—vendors shouting their wares, children laughing as they darted through the crowds, and musicians adding a rhythmic heartbeat to the city’s hum. It was the perfect day for a stroll: the sky painted a soft blue, dotted with lazy clouds, and a gentle breeze weaving through the streets. After weeks of grueling Rune Knight duties, from managing political affairs to overseeing sanctuary operations, Tōga welcomed this rare moment of freedom with open arms.

Dressed for comfort, he wore a loose red hoodie that swayed slightly with each animated step, paired with sleek black tapered pants and well-worn sneakers. His signature pink hair caught the light, a vibrant beacon in the sea of people. Heads turned as he passed, though whether it was his striking appearance or the contagious enthusiasm in his stride was anyone’s guess.

Behind him, Strigr followed closely, her more reserved demeanor a stark contrast to Tōga’s boisterous energy. In her human form, the dragoness moved tentatively, her golden hair cascading down her back, catching in the sunlight like strands of spun silk. She clung to the edges of the bustling crowd, her slender frame wrapped in a delicate kimono that fluttered with every hurried step. The short hemline, while elegant, did little to accommodate the pace her master set.

“Otō-san! Slow down!” Strigr called, her voice carrying a note of exasperation as she struggled to keep up. The flurry of activity around her made her feel exposed, and she fought to stay within arm’s reach of Tōga, her feet shuffling in an effort to match his long strides.

Tōga glanced back with a wide grin, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “Ooooooi, Strigr-chan! If we slow down, we won’t get to see as much of the town!” he declared, as if it were the most obvious truth in the world.

Strigr blinked, her expression a mix of confusion and quiet disbelief. She didn’t question his logic—it was sound in theory—but the practicality left much to be desired. Still, she had long since accepted that her master operated on his own rhythm, one driven by unrelenting curiosity and boundless energy.

And besides,” Tōga added, his nose twitching as he suddenly stopped mid-step, “we might lose his scent.” He tilted his head slightly, his expression shifting to one of focused determination. His sharp senses flared, catching a familiar trail amidst the medley of city smells: warm spices from a nearby vendor, the metallic tang of armor polished to a shine, and there—faint but unmistakable—the distinct scent he knew so well.

Without warning, Tōga took off again, weaving through the crowd with renewed purpose. “Found him!” he called back, his voice brimming with excitement as his hunt turned into a chase. Strigr sighed but followed, her steps quickening as she tried to keep pace. The streets blurred around them, a tapestry of life and color as Tōga zeroed in on his target. He could feel it now, the presence of an old friend who had just entered the city.

Yuurei

Yuurei was always dressed regularly but was always battle-ready in the wave of an arm. He looked like a relaxed laid-back person no matter where he was. His presence gave out try me even if he did his best to hide it. Those who knew of the world's power and about the famous mages in Earth Realm will notice that it was Yuurei. Some of them pointed him out and others gasping to see someone like him walking so casually around their city.

He, of course, ignored all of that as he was with Renji and they were just enjoying their time here.

“You think so Yuu? How would that be?” He asked him with a disappointed look on his face.

“I’m sure your goddess will bless the light on you. You will gain the ability that suits you best to help me out.” He said to his partner.

Renji heard those words and he hoped that would happen soon though. While they walked though, he noticed that there was someone inching closer to him. The people around him had their own movements, but none of them were directly toward him. The vibration in the air with them depicted they were just walking, but this one in particular, throughout the random movements, was heading straight in his direction.

He didn’t know who it was, but he didn’t turn to see who it was. Of course, he prepared himself for the worst-case scenario though.

“Are you hungry Renji? I am, so let’s get something to bite.” He said to his friend as they moved to a stand.

Once they arrived at their location they could see the different types of food that were here. They had a lot of small trays of pasta with different proteins. The aroma that had been let out from these things had covered this section and it made him a bit hungry.

He stared at the selection trying to figure out what he wanted to eat. The man behind the stand stood quiet as he hoped that he had a customer today.

Toga

Like a playful lion weaving through tall grass, Tōga darted in and out of the bustling crowd, his movements light and purposeful. The streets were alive with energy, a vibrant mosaic of voices, laughter, and the rhythmic clatter of vendors peddling their wares. The dragon slayer moved with ease, his sharp senses guiding him through the maze of people as he honed in on the familiar scent. Each step brought him closer, his grin widening with anticipation.

Gotcha!” he murmured under his breath, the words laced with triumph as his nose confirmed the scent was strongest nearby. With a sudden burst of energy, Tōga propelled himself into the air, his leap as fluid and effortless as a sparrow in flight. The startled murmurs of onlookers followed him as he soared over the crowd, landing gracefully behind his target. Straightening up, he threw his hands behind his head, his grin mischievous.

Ooooooi! Yuuurei-san! Renji-san!” Tōga called out, his booming voice cutting through the din of the marketplace. If either of them turned to locate the source, they would be met with the unmistakable sight of a shock of pink hair standing out against the muted tones of the crowd. Tōga’s animated bow followed, an over-the-top gesture that managed to be both playful and respectful. “Long time no see!” he exclaimed, his words carrying the kind of warmth that made it impossible not to smile back. Straightening up, his grin widened, the light in his eyes reflecting genuine excitement at seeing his old friends again.

It was then that Strigr appeared, weaving through the crowd with far less agility but no less determination. The dragoness, in her human form, stumbled to a stop a few paces behind Tōga, her cheeks flushed and her breaths coming in short gasps.

Otō-san! S-slow down!” she managed between pants, her voice tinged with both exasperation and fondness. The blonde strands of her hair clung to her face, tousled and messy from her frantic chase. Tōga turned to her with an unabashed laugh, his grin softening as he watched her struggle to catch her breath. “Strigr-chan, you’ve got to keep up! We’re not near Luluhawa anymore—you’ve got to move like you mean it!” he teased, though his tone was free of any real criticism. Strigr gave him a flat look, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face as she straightened up.

Not everyone can dart around like a wild animal, Otō-san,” she huffed, though the faintest smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Tōga chuckled, ruffling her golden hair affectionately before turning back to Yuurei and Renji.

Yuurei

Yuurei was looking at what he wanted right in front of him. the Chicken Fritta Pasta with angel hair. The person who was coming closer to him was coming as two. Still, one of them had found themselves in the air, which meant that he was a mage.

“Hmm, maybe I will get the Chicken Fritta with Angel hair.” He said out loud.

Renji heard him and he nodded as he figured that was a good choice.

“I will take the same thing then.” He said to Yuurei.

It was then that the person approaching them would land behind them. The landing was nothing and they did nothing to assume or result as an attack. He looked over and heard his and his partner’s names being called out. It was someone they knew, which meant most likely friendly.

It was then he noticed that it was Toga that was there. He should have known it would have been him as well he was around the Rune Knights headquarters and well he was the only one he interacted with from here. Still, looking at him, it seemed like the young mage had gotten stronger than he was last time. That was interesting as it seemed like the young Dragon was becoming stronger quickly as the day pushed forward.

“Ah Toga, you were the one running in this direction I see. And you don’t seem to be alone.” He said this as he looked over in the direction that Strigrs was running from.

“But yes, it’s been a while. I’ve gone through a lot of time alone, so I haven’t done much interaction with a lot of people outside of those who have gone to Seven or Joya." He said to him.

It was then he heard the interaction between the woman and Toga. It was from there he could assume she was his partner when he ruffled her hair.

“It looks like Toga found himself a girlfriend. And it also seems like he’s also gotten powerful.” Renji said out loud.

He had power before and lost it recently. That was how he could tell from looking at Toga that he was much stronger than before.

“How’s it going though Toga? It seems like the Rune Knights have been keeping you busy.” He said to him making conversation.
