Father Jerad: Father Jerad might be young but his devotion to the teachings of Illumin have made him one of the youngest priests ever in charge of a church. He offers a shoulder to lean on whenever the citizens are distressed, and manages to lift up the spirits of everyone with his kind words, regardless of whether they are a believer or not.

Summary: Father Jerad has a young girl under his care because her parents are under the impression that she is possessed. He feels sorry for the child and has pretended that the exorcism is still ongoing, because he knows that her behavior is simply the result of the household and the constant fighting between her parents. She has asked Father Jerad to send her away somewhere where she can grow up and become useful. Due to her potential with Light-type magic, Father Jerad has contacted the Grand Cathedral in Crocus and asked for a scholarship for her, which was granted.

Joanne: Joanne is in her pre-teens. She is a shy girl with white hair and sad eyes. Her voice is soft and sweet, but she takes time to talk since she is very wary of strangers. Joanne is easily scared, and reacts to loud sounds in an excessively jumpy manner. She shows potential with her control over the element of Light and sometimes uses a mirror to aid in casting her spells.

Objective: Assist Father Jerad by escorting the little girl to the Grand Crocus Cathedral so she may receive an education there and grow up in peace.

Note: The participants will be in Crocus at the end of this quest. Therefore, the user is required to add additional 200 words in the quest for the travel.

Details:

Create a topic in Magnolia City.
You will find Father Jerad looking rather distraught and is accompanied by a young, scared girl.
When you approach him, he will introduce the girl as Joanne and ask you help him by escorting her to Crocus.
When you agree to help, the girl will look at you fearfully and skirt to hide behind the Father.
Father Jerad will explain that Joanne is quite sensitive because of her broken home and that he offered her a haven in the Church.
He will then tell you that she is skilled with Light Magic, and that he recommended her to the Grand Cathedral in Crocus. So, for the purpose of training, they're expecting her to arrive within the next few days, but she is too young to travel alone.
Once Joanne notices that Father Jerad trusts you, she will slowly extend her hand to accept you as an escort.
Travel to Crocus by foot along with the girl.
Use the three-day long journey to get to know the girl better.
When you speak to her about her magic, she will demonstrate some simple light spells, including sustaining a small orb of light to aid with vision when it gets darker.
The girl will also share some stories about her parents and how they fight a lot, which makes her very sad.
If you speak to her about Father Jerad, you will notice how she idolizes him. She will share the story of how he pretended to be performing an exorcism on her, just to pacify her parents who thought she was possessed.
Upon reaching Crocus, take her to the Grand Cathedral. Speak to a priest there on behalf of Father Jerad and introduce the girl to him.
The priest will greet you and take responsibility for the girl before giving you your reward.
