Finally arriving back at the Fairy Tail guild hall, Tori was less than pleased with her current appearance, and felt a hot shower was most definitely in order. She had heard through the grapevine that there were showers towards the back of the lavish building and thought she would get that taken care of and out of the way. No sense in trying to meet new people while still smelling questionable. Upon finishing, she grabbed a hand towel and squeezed her hair dry as she walked down to the main hall. It was certainly a rowdy bunch to be sure, nothing at all like the quiet farmlands back home where you could hear echoes for miles. But there was something about this place and this atmosphere that made the blonde woman feel more at home than she ever had before. In due time, every person within these walls would become family.

The ice wizard walked up to bar and browsed what was available to eat, as she hadn't had anything except a few granola bars since she left Orchidia. It was then she noticed soft serve ice cream and just couldn't help herself. An actual meal would have to wait. With a cup of strawberry ice cream in hand, she began to peruse around the room trying to find someone who wasn't fighting or drinking at that particular moment. It didn't take long to notice a lone girl sitting at a rather large table dead in the middle of the room. She had a decent sized plate of chips and dip, and wondered if she was expecting someone. Shrugging slightly, Tori decided it couldn't hurt to ask.

"This seat taken?" she asked cheerfully, eating another spoonful of her ice cream while waiting for a reply.

The black haired girl introduced herself as Kazumi, but said she'd gone by Kazu. Tori liked that nickname, since she was never really one for full names to begin with. She was also offered a seat at the table, which she took with a big smile on her face. The plate was pushed towards the ice mage, but she was really just in the mood for sweet stuff right now. With a bite of ice cream in her mouth, she shook her head before swallowing the frozen treat. "No thanks. I had a sudden craving for ice cream that I just couldn't fight." she said, chuckling slightly. After a couple more bites and a short silence at the table, Tori figured she would break the ice. "So I'm guessing you're a member of Fairy Tail, yeah? How long have you been in the guild?" she asked curiously. Tori didn't see her the last time she was at the guild hall, but to be fair she wasn't there for more than a couple of minutes to begin with. And if Kazumi had been in the guild for a decent amount of time, maybe she would be willing to show Tori around sometime.

For a quick moment, Tori noticed Kazu's arm extended in greeting. It must have been there for a minute since she started to let it fall. It was at that instant that it dawned on the ice mage how rude she must have seemed. Without thinking, she dropped her ice cream and reached for the black haired girl's hand with both arms and shook it apologetically. "Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how terrible a person I must have looked just now." she exclaimed frantically and full of remorse. She didn't even notice her ice cream that fell all over the floor by her chair.

After a second, she let go of Kazu's hand and sank her head to the table, holding up her hands in apology. "I'm so so so so sorry. I hate rudeness so much and I try to be friendly with everyone and I just got so caught up with my ice cream I didn't think. I haven't had ice cream since I left home." she rambled. Continuing that for a couple of minutes, she ended up calming herself down, unless Kazu ended up calming her down first, that is. When the hysteria was over, Kazumi said that she had only joined the guild in the recent weeks, and hadn't seen the ice mage before. "Oh, I only joined last week myself. I was here all of about ten minutes before I grabbed a flyer and ran off. I didn't even see where exactly the job was until I was about halfway to Orchidia. And that was a stroke of luck because that happened to be where the job was." she giggled. It was then that Tori got a thought in her head, but decided she would wait until the black haired girl had replied to her first. No sense in talking her ear off all over again after all.

Shin ran all the way to from to the guild like a madman of some kind yelling at people "MOVE I'M IN A HURRY TO GET BACK!!!!" as most people guessed he was a proud member of Fairy Tail which was a good and bad thing all at the same time considering their history. As he made his mad dash to the guild Shin pulled a leg muscle making it a bit harder for him to get there Fuck am so close to the guild I can't look like I just ran all over the place. he thought falling into the water on the side of him, now soaking wet he and slightly refreshed he made his way to the guild in record time. Shin made sure to dry himself off and fix his hair before walking in when he saw two girls sitting at a table "Dreamgirl here I come." he muttered as he walked over to them. "Hi there am Shin you look new how are you ladies today?" he said handing both of them two red roses as a sign of 'friendship' as he never really talked to anyone in the guild at all "I've been in the guild for a few months now so if you guys need anything just ask," he told them with a smile on his painted on his face.

"That would be 500 Jewels for the doughnut Sir" the clerk said to Jin looking at young man who had stuffed half to the doughnut with his mouth. Jin's teeth would sink into to the soft dough as he would take a bite then look down to the watch on his right arm. His eyes will wide upon seeing the time, he had totally forgot this was fairy tails guild meeting. As a new member this a big deal for him. Taking another bite he wonder to his self what would everyone be like. Being in a self aware state of thought he payed not mind to the man repeating the price of the food Jin was eating.

After taking the last bite of his doughnut Jin would look the clerk dead into his eye. He would make sure both men eyes was meet. Looking really serious and stern the boy will break his silence with "First get you a wig for your bald head. Next run around the town or something.Then just maybe then you will get a wife someday" afterwards laughing and racing off into the way of the guild hall. The clerk first baffled by the insult gave by Jin will stand there thinking about a response to give. But before he could say anything Jin was gone leaving him in a state of rage.

Stopping to catch his breath at the doors of the guild hall. Jin stood breathing hard with his body bent over and his hands on his knees. At that moment he would be planning on how to make is entrance. First impressions was everything and Jin had to make sure he made a great one. Jin feeling cocky and proud of himself would boot the front wooden doob of the guild hall with his right foot, and march in with his chest poked out proudly showing the guild symbol on the pocket of his academy uniform which was completely unbutton aside from his under shirt. Around dress shirt was loose tie. His penny loafers stepped with confidence as he made through out the guild. For some reason he walked over the a table center into a room. There sat two ladies and a guy standing talking to them. Jin made his way in be hide the two women and in between them both. He gently placed his hands right on their lower backs rubbing them both softly after ward to speak "Man these are some nice Tails of fairies" Jin would be examining the bodies of the two women trying to see all the curves of their body with a huge grin on his face. He would then looking towards the gentlemen who he admire for approaching the women first "Hey buddy which of these two fairies do you think have the best knockers?"

Finishing her ramble about not being rude and explaining her state in the guild to Kazumi, it dawned on Tori that she had not introduced herself either. "Oh, I'm just batting a thousand today aren't I?" she joked. "My name's To--" she got out before her view consisted of nothing but a red rose. She started bug eyed for a moment before hearing a voice introduce himself as Shin. Looking up, she took the rose from his grasp and smiled at the red haired man. "Nice to meet you, too." she exclaimed excitedly. "I'm Tori," she said, switching her glances at both Shin and Kazumi, so as to introduce herself to both of them at the same time. She felt really bad about being so rude to Kazumi before, so she didn't want to make the same mistake twice. She had never done that to anyone before, but she was so enthralled in her...ICE CREAM! "What could have happened to it?" she thought to herself before she remembered grabbing Kazu's hand with both of hers. She must have dropped it. She began looking frantically on the ground for it and, to her utter delight, found the small bowl on the floor with the bottom down and the delicious treat within still quite edible.

She set the rose on the table and bent down to retrieve the confection when all of a sudden a foot stomped it and she could feel a hand on her lower back. A voice accompanied them and spoke something that Tori could not understand, as her mind was wrapped around the ice cream that was now all over the floor and this person's shoe. Filled with both rage and sorrow, she balled the hand that was reaching for the bowl into a fist and brought it all the way up the leg and body of the perpetrator until it reached his lower jaw.  She didn't care if she did anything to the man or if he even felt it, but he would surely know the pain she felt now. "MY ICE CREEEEEAAAAM!!" she yelled, sobbing. "WHY WOULD YOU STEP ON MY ICE CREAM!?!?!?" she shouted, her face red with both anger and sadness.

Shin slowly back away as he saw the two women punch the other guy in the face "Well it was nice to meet you charming girls but I have to go get a drink." he said still backing away from them Why do I always get the crazy people and not the cute ones that have compatible magic? he asked turning away from them and sitting down at the bar and asked the person working for a cup of English tea with three sugars. He really wanted to come back and meet his dream girl but it looked like he would not be getting his wish anytime soon seeing as the girls seemed stronger than they let on.

Shin waited a few minutes until the tea was all ready and cool, he turned back to look at the two girls with a frightened smile on his face Ya they are really scary. he thought turning back around to drink his tea.

The reaction of his big mouth was unpleasant. One girl punched Jin his chin, the dumped a small bowl of salsa on his head. Jin would be impressed by her speed as he was on able to react. Afterwards she told her name with a sweet grin on her face as if she did nothing at all. The other girl would send a soild punch to Jin's jaw, his head will slowly twist a bit as he was hit. Somehow the salsa bowl would remain on Jin's head. He would take bowl off the top of his head, the scoope one of his index fingers to gather a bit. He would lick his finger to try out the taste of the salsa. Jin stood tasting the sasla puzzle about what she was talking about. Ice cream? Jin would not relize if he did it or would should any remorse for doing it.

Instead, he would look at Shin would have could plenty ignored him. “Yeah it's probably based for you drink your low confindence away prince charming” Jin would tease the man hoping to make him feel uncomfortble walking away. Jin will then introduce himself yelling as loud as he could “Jin is my name and cowards like this man” his finger would single out Shin “Lets the guild master down. Overtime he takes a job the guild get charged with his hospital builds, which is unfair to our pay because the guild master taxes us now.” Jin of course lying he did not even know the guy. He just wanted to get under his skin since he rudely ignored him. After making his display Jin slowly be backing away from the two girls looking for somehow make his leave from the guild hall.

While mourning the loss of her ice cream, she heard the one who gave her a rose politely excuse himself before walking away from the scene. Immediately afterwards, she heard the other man start shouting something that Tori wasn't paying any attention to. Kazumi then knelt down and asked her if she wanted another ice cream, to which she simply nodded and sniffled. She stood up and walked with the black haired girl to the ice cream machine and got another cup. She got strawberry again, but this time with chocolate sprinkles. And with the first bite, she instantly cheered up.

"Thanks, Kazumi. I really appreciate it. I usually don't get like this over something so petty, it just reminded me of home is all." she explained. Glancing over at the request board, she thought of taking another job. She thanked Kazu once again and bid her farewell. "Let's hang out again sometime!" she said cheerfully before heading over to look at all the requests to choose from. She found one that said the client was in Era and thought it looked simple enough. Grabbing it and stuffing it in her pocket, she made her way out the door and set out for her new adventure.
