Magic Name: Soul  Magic

Magic Element: NA

Magic Description:

This magic allows the mage to transform their magic power into a physical representation of their will by using her soul to push the desired amount of magic power from their body before controlling it with their mind. The portion of magic power that is released is affected by their soul and acts according to their inner wishes, causing it to be come a lot stronger, versatile, and easier to control. Mages are able to emit and control aura to perform to perform offensive maneuvers, whether it be for long range attacks or short range.

They are able to use it defensively, molding into barriers or using it to reflect attacks. The user may also form things such as wings for things such as flight.

Duration: Instant
Effect: The user may focus their soul essence into a concentrated beam of destructive force capable of delivering D rank damage at their target by a flick of her index finger going downward. The beam itself can be cast from either the one of their hands by simple clasping and releasing it whilst focusing. The beam itself is half a meter in diameter and pulsates at the throb of the user’s heart beat.

Element: NA
Range: 5 Meters
Cooldown: 1 Posts
Duration: Sustain
Effect: The user is allowed to send a message or idea only once to those that she desires to listen. The max distance would be five meters. In response however they are able to listen to those within that distance as well during the duration. To do this she needs to motion her hand towards her heart as it'd trigger.

Name: Soul Whipping

Mana Cost: 25 Per post
Requirements: Soul Magic
Type: Offense
Element: NA
Range: 1 meter
Cooldown: 1 Posts
Duration: Sustain
Effect: The user is able to create a 1 meter long whip that can be used to lash towards the target or even grab, inflicting D rank damage. This is created by her hand clenching a little or even bringing out her hand/arm.

Name: Shield of Desperation
Rank: D
Mana Cost: 25 Per post
Requirements: Soul Magic
Type: Defensive
Element: NA
Range: 5 Meters
Cooldown: 1 Posts
Duration: Sustain
Effect: In a last ditch effort to resist the harm the user may cast the shield of desperation, a perfectly shield embodying their emotions for those whom know of the spell, it is 1m in diameter in radius and has a durability of C rank damage before it breaks. The shield itself is capable of retaining its form as long as it is within 5 meters of the user. Her hand needs to spread in a palm forming way to make the shield appear.


Name: Cleansing Glow
Rank: D
Mana Cost: 25 (per post)
Requirements: Soul Magic
Type: Offensive
Element: NA
Range: N/A
Cooldown: 1 Posts
Duration: ISustain
Effect: The user may use any rage that has built up inside themselves to be release in a glow of light that encapsulates the user all that touches receives D rank damage, it can be focused on one particular body part if desired and will be released in the event of serious injury. She has clench one or both of her fists to make this happen.

Hi there, Rowan here to look over your spells.

All of your spells have Instant/Sustain for their duration. You will need to choose one or the other for each spell.

  • Soul Bond

Hard telepathy is a bit much for just a D rank. My recommendation would be that you can only send concepts to those you link with, but not whole ideas or speeches. As you rank up you can improve upon this spell.

  • Levitation

Flight spells are limited to B ranks and above. Please change this spell.

All but your first spell have no action to indicate that they are being cast. Each one will need a physical motion or incantation associated with them in order to be approved.

  • Soul Bond

You list this spell as an instant but mention it has a duration in the description. If the spell is to be instant it should only involve you sending a basic idea to a target through a link.
