Find The Sword [ Galaxy & Teiho ]

The weather had changed considerably in the last few days. The warmth of the sun was no longer as strong as it once was, the trees were mostly bare, and the winds hit the skin with a bit of frost. Most people changed clothes during this weather and Andromeda was no different. Looking at her the world could see that short blond wearing a pair of plain black pants, a blue and white poncho while under the poncho she wore a black long sleeve shirt. She looked cute still, adorable even as she pulled out a piece of paper from seemingly nowhere. In her delicate hands she held a picture. In the picture was a sword, a very beautiful weapon that belonged to one Armin Bartholomew. Andromeda didn’t get how someone could lose something so noticeable and she began to wonder what the hell this man was doing with his sword to lose it in the first place. Her mind ran all kinds of silly scenarios, a short giggle bursting forth from her as she played a very random situation where Armin was riding his sword as if he were riding a pony. It was a very silly thought but when it faded she found herself standing in front of her destination, Crocus Gardens.
As easy as this was on her own Andromeda sought out a bit of help to get the job done faster. She didn’t have anyone particular in mind and just dropped a bit of J for whoever to take up the task with her to meet her at the Gardens.

For some reason he was still around Crocus, he couldn’t pinpoint a reason why other than loss of interest. Sighing, he checked his resources and found that he still had quite a few thousand jewels to blow through so he wasn’t really strapped for cash. Cecilia had definitely sent a few letters to him detailing how he should have returned to Magnolia by now, but he had ignored them in favor of not really giving a shit. He was still quite surprised she put up with his behavior, most other people would have definitely axed him from the guild entirely but not her, she decided that he was worth the investment in patience and well sanity. Shrugging to himself he stopped by the market square and purveyed a stand that was selling scarves.

The weather had changed a bit to match the changing seasons and as such the temperature had dropped. Not enough to drop snow but enough to send a chill through the land. Being from Seven he was no stranger to the cold and thus wore primarily the same outfit. However a scarf provided comfort and protection from the harsh winds onto his face and was thus necessary. Finding a nice gray one, he put it on and paid for it before walking away.

She didn’t know how long she waited but she knew it was far too long for her taste. The chill of the day was getting to her, which was funny since she used to live on top of a mountain. “ I guess no one is comin.. “ Her words were heavy like she was disappointed but it wasn’t long before a smile was on her face. Lookin out into the distance she saw him and it wasn’t like he was hard to spot either so one could image the happiness that spread across her face when she did see him. “ Hey! Teiho! “ Running over to the white haired male she waved him down, tripping at his feet as soon as she got close to him. “ Owie, owie, owie “ The fall was more of a shock to her and less of a pain. Getting to her feet and quickly brushing off her poncho she began to smile. “ Hey you wanna do a job with me? Come on, Come on ya can’t say no, It’s realllyyy easy. “ She was hype to see him she really was, but she figured they could catch up after getting this job done if he agreed to it, and even if he didn’t she could do it herself and they could still talk it out. Her mind briefly went to the last and first time she saw him and a blush filled her face. Nothing happened between the two honestly but sharing a room with a stranger is not something one forgets.

Turning his head at the shout of his chosen nickname, he watched as a smallish figure ran through the chilled crowds to approach him only to trip on the most microscopic of pebbles when she was just a few feet away from him. Glancing down slowly he watched her pick herself up off of the dirt and brush any residue off of her poncho, he listened as she accosted him with words and gestures. He could vaguely make out what she was talking about, some sort of mission or what not and honestly it was better than what he was doing now which was quite frankly nothing. Shrugging at the short girl, he nodded his head forward, “Sure why not, I got nothing better to do.”

The way he said it made it seem like he really didn’t want to, but honestly what he said was true, he just had nothing better to do at that moment and so he was free game for anything. Thankfully it wasn’t some dumbshit like tag, he hated tag. He’d wait for her to lead the way as he thought about the sword they were tasked with finding for some random squire or something.

Her faced beamed far too brightly, like the sun peeking out from the clouds and just blinding the earth below. Grabbing onto Teiho's hand she tugged him in the direction of the park. " I will take the left side and you take the right. I'm pretty sure a sword aint gonna go far. " She thought for a moment once she ventured off on her task. The sword was very nice looking, it might not even be in this park any more if someone else found it and decided to keep it. Andromeda walked faster her hands pushing bushes aside as her eyes scanned the ground for anything at all to help her in her search. It would be a shame if someone else did find that sword because then this would all be such a waste, not to mention she wouldn't get paid not a single J for failing to complete the task she so readily took on. " Ok, now if were a fancy sword how far would I go? In a place full of people? In broad daylight? " These questions were honestly not going to help her but it was something to keep her mind off of negative thoughts that would otherwise deter her from her task.

He knew how energetic she could be. The few times he had talked to her so far had given him a good impression on just how much happiness that little body could contain. But when her cute smile literally flashed him into blindness, he honestly couldn't deal. Reflexively flinching away from it, he found himself getting tugged along during his momentary confusion, wondering if that whole ordeal was a spell she had cooked up just to get people to come along with her. Shaking his head at the ludicrous idea that had just popped in his membrane, he grabbed the paper from her before slipping his hand free smoothly to grasp at the parchment with both appendages. The weapon was simple enough, a low grade metal with a basic knight hilt and pommel. No embellishment or fanfare on it to make it weaker than it already was, all in all a pretty standard blade for low level knight.

"Finding this damn thing is going to be annoying..." he grumbled too himself. Sure he was bored but finding some dumbassess sword didn't necessarily constitute as entertainment to him, it was more like hard labor that he didn't wish to be a part of. But whatever, at least it kept this bubbling girl preoccupied right?

swiping her tongue against the roof of her mouth created a sort of hollowed clicking noise. She had searched in trees which were so very fun to climb, looked in rose bushes which hurt like heck, and she even looked in the small pond that was in the garden, which soaked her legs. The search overall was going great and she hoped that Tei was having as much progress as she was. After awhile she resorted to asking people and someone said that he did see a sword that she described. All she could think of was finally as the thought of her search coming to an end was near. Prodding the man for more information on the whereabouts of the sword, she soon found out that there had been a dog running around the park with it. No one wanted to get close to it in fear of it biting them so it for some reason still had the sword. The man pointed in the direction it last seen the dog and Andromeda thanked him before running off towards the other side of the park where Teiho was. It wasn't long before she saw the dog who was bigger than she, black and fluffy with white and brown spots all over its body. The dog looked scary as it held the sword in its mouth. Andromeda stopped only for a moment before slowly creeping up to the dog, keep eye contact. " Oh come on boy.. or girl.. I have somethin better for ya, just give me that sword.. " The dog was having none of it and ran away, ran right in the direction of tei who Andromeda called out too as soon as the dog fled.

And so the search began, he knew he was in for a long haul when the girl began to scramble up a tree. Sighing that he was too old for this shit, he began to look about the neighborhood. Holding up the initial sign with the picture of the sword in question, he inquired about it from several passerby's including a precarious couple of lollygaggers who didn't seem to interested in helping him. Well whatever, he wasn't going to accost them for not aiding him in his seemingly unnecessary search. Wasn't like it was his sword, what did he care about the retard who lost it. Sighing to himself once more, a habit he'd have to get rid of if he didn't want to seem any more emo than he already looked due to his signature Mohawk.

Glancing about, he stopped in front of a blacksmith, figuring that the man would at least be familiar with the make of the sword and thus be able to help him locate it sooner, the man proved to be worthless as he shook his head after the inquiry. Nodding in response, he walked off simply, not bothering to waste anymore time than he already had with that thread. Looping back around to the alleyway he started in, he watched the young girl play about with a pooch that was clearly holding the blade they were looking for in it's mouth. Getting ready to reprimand her for taking so god damn long with it all, he watched as the dog ran past her and towards him, a poor choice if any at that moment.

Rearing back his left foot, he unleashed a swift kick to the gut of the pooch, effectively breaking a few ribs and causing it to spit out the blade of the simpleton that lost it in the first place. Normally he wouldn't harm animals, but he didn't have time to chase the foul beast up and down an alleyway in an attempt to get a god damn sword from it's mouth, so he did it the easy way and that's that. Collecting the weapon at hand, he sheathed it simply in the provided storage utensil before walking away, not even bothering to address the fact that he had kicked the dog. He'd wait long enough for Galaxy to catch up before going to complete the mission entirely.

She watched in in a sort of " oh no " horror as the dog she she was chasing got kicking in the stomach by tei. She could hardly believe what she saw and heard as the breaking of bones periced her ears and a loud crying whimper came from the dog. She felt her face puff up in anger as Tei picked up the sword the dog dropped. She would have none of this in front of her. " Hey god damn it, you didn't need to harm him. He was harmless... I'm sure. " The last part was honestly unsure since he did run from her, he could have been really scared and might have been dangerous but he didn't attack her right out. She could tell Tei was probably not gonna answer her. Snatching the sword from his hands she took the lead, it was her job after all and she would be the one to collect and divide the Jewels. Pouting her lip out and taking for once a silent kinda stance on the way to handing over the sword, she began to wonder about who tei was as a person.
