It was a cool and breezy day on the outskirts of Oak Town where Caius was leaving. He woke up at the beginning of the day feeling revitalized after the long and strenuous missions that he had been on. It was a perfect time to hone his skills. The destination that he was headed to was a enclosure in the mountains that was surrounded by rocks. It was far away enough that not many would notice and had enough room to fire off the strongest of spells. This was the place that Nastasya initially showed him along with Odin when they did there training. Along with them was the demon of Grimoire Heart Odin or as others called him, Lucifer. The three of them fought a hard and long spar but Odin ended up overpowering them with his hellish flames. If Caius was at full power he could have won but he was drained from the travel and work. If he was that weak after such easy tasks he was no use to Grimoire Heart. He had to work on his stamina and raising his magic power even further to live up to his reputation as one of the highest members of the guild.

As he reached the summit and entered the enclave, he put down his backpack and sat down on his knees. The first thing he wanted to do was to get mentally prepared for the long workout ahead of him. He closed his eyes and brought his hands together across his legs. Opening his mouth, he inhaled as hard as he could. The air in the mountains was thinner than normal and it usually was hard to take deep breaths. Being the Sky God Slayer, the air revitalized his body making him feel fresh and increasing his strength. HE would need all of it for the amount of work he was going to put in. A normal person would stop inhaling after a few seconds but Caius kept going after minutes. More and more air filled up his lungs as power surged through his body. At the end, he gently exhaled black air out of his mouth that slowly surrounded the outside of his body. It lifted up his legs and arms as he slowly rose to his feet covered in the black wind. Now fully focused and revitalized, it was time to test the limits of his magic.

The air flowed through his entire body as he would reach up his right hand. The black wind would slowly move from the tips of his feet and concentrate on that once single point. The magic energy tingled through his body as it slowly moved over. Caius was a battle mage and his specialty was offensive magic. He was a harbinger of destruction that struck fear into his opponents with the sheer force of his attacks. That was what he wanted his attack to be. Something that could dismantle a multitude of foes at once. As the black wind slowly gathered to his right hand, he brought his left hand over to stabilize it. The black wind would start to spin in his hand like a mini tornado. Using his left hand, he would slowly condense it by pushing down on it. He had to be careful as if he put too much pressure on it that it was most likely to have too much power and release in his hand sending him flying back from the magic power explosion of energy. Slowly but with precision he managed to pull the magic energy down as it formed into a sphere shape in his hand. The black wind turned from a mini tornado to a black ball that was spinning at great speed. Anyone hit by this right now would surely suffer a great amount of damage but that wasn't enough. Caius wanted to add to it.

He took his left hand and reached into the black orb. He made sure to be careful as the spinning wind was darkness magic as well. The wind wasn't so much a problem as he was immune to it but darkness magic was tough to handle. It still gave him damage if he was hit.He reached into the orb with two fingers and managed to pull out some of the wind as it formed a blade that extended out. This was more like it. A destructive attack worthy of an A rank member of Grimoire heart. He was careful to reach his hand to the black wind in his hand and managed to repeat himself by pulling out 3 other black wind blades from the ball. This formed a type of wind shruriken in his hand. The magic power was incredible like nothing he had ever seen before. The only left now was to unleash it and test out its power. Caius slowly brought out his left hand and prepared himself. Jolting his arm forward he threw the attack at the stone wall that surrounded him in the enclave. THe walls could handle a B rank attack as per the training but this was more powerful. The black wind shuriken surged forward at the stone but before it hit the attack would dissipate doing nothing. Caius punched the ground in frustation. He would have to try it again.

Caius would gather back up in the stance that he was in before hand where he would gather up the black win around his body and prepare the attack again. IT was the same one he just used with the black wind gathering in his right hand and he would the gather more of the black wind in a circle so the black wind would focus into a ball and the black wind would help create the attack that he previous used. It would use the left hand and he would press on the black wind ball that would condense it in a smaller attack and then the black wind ball would start to spin counter clockwise and it would have great force of spin where if you got hit by it you would get wrecked pretty hard. Caius then would pull out the blades form the black ball like he did with the previous attack and would start to spin it around with all the blades of black wind going around in a circle like a wheel. He lifted the attack up and rather than throwing it he made sure to lieft up his hand and hold it for a while. He wanted to make sure the attack was stable and wouldn't puss out like last time where it dissipated before it even hit anything. That would suck in a real battle so he needed it to work perfect if he was in a life or death situation because the attack had the potential to wreck some mages if it hit them with teh black wind blades for massive damage. The shurikent of black wind was steady in his hand before he stabilized it and it felt way better than the previous attempt. Caius would lean back and throw the black wind shuriken with all his might at the stone from before.

The shuriken of black wind would spin at great speed as it headed towards the rock as it made a zooming sound as it closed in at the target. Caius looked on with anticipation to see how much force would be unleashed from the new attack once it hit and then he would see it strike. It hit against the rock and cut against it with ease like a mother fucking knife through some butter. When the blades cut all the way through the orb of black wind would then hit the rock and there was a reaction from that where the orb of black wind hit and the wind expanded. It expanded like heat in a bag when teh bag gets to hot and the bag expands a lot. The ball of black wind then would explodes out in a dome shape with the black wind cutting everything in mid air around it. The rock was cut off in a big chunk but after the attack and the explostion of black wind the rock was cut into tiny pebbles and it was almost completly disengerated by the attack so it was a very strong attack that he could use in the future to wreck some weak ass mages that dared get in his way. As teh black wind dissipated Caius decided to try another attack since he mastered this new as he was just getting started and knew he could do even more than the attack of the black wind shuriken he had just created.

Judging by his last attack he used ,it would have to be around B or A rank worth of damage. That was good for some mages but Caius still wanted to surpass the limits of his sky god slayer magic. He wanted an attack that could destroy waves of enemies that stood in his guilds way. He wanted to be a calamity itself. Using the wind around him, he could make that dream into a reality. The most fierce attacks using that element were tornadoes. The violently rotating column of air that spins while in contact with both the surface of Fiore and the sky. Make one violent enough and it can tear through anything.

Caius smiled as he thought of his next attack idea. He stuck both of his arms out to the side as far as he could and took a deep breath of air. The black wind surrounding his body moved up to both arms as he started to spin them both around like helicopter blades. Slowly but surely the wind started to move faster and increase in size. The small gust he started out with was now grown out into a vacuum the size of a truck. He had never felt so powerful before but that was only part of it. The key part of mastering the attack was controlling it. It was no use to have power and no accuracy. He attempted to move his arms in front of himself but the strain was almost unbearable. He bit his lip to numb the pain as he forced himself to fight through the pain. His arms where shaking from the stress as he pushed both arms in front of him. He flipped both his hands and slowly gathered the black wind tornadoes. His objective was to move the base of the tornado from his arms to the palms of his hands. As the wind moved down to his palms, he had less of a base to control the tornadoes making them harder to manage. Unable to bear it, the black wind violently dissipated from his arms and threw him flying back as it dispersed in the sky. Caius got up on his knee and spit off to the side in disappointment. He would have to try again.

The sun shined high above in the sky on this early winters day. In a room of one particular inn a certain individual was beginning to rise. A figure covered by thick woollen sheets stretched beneath then like a cat. The figure slowly sat up allowing the sheets to fall from their face, clinging to this body. the figure was a young girl of maybe thirteen fourteen years and she was completely naked. She had slept to enjoy the feel of the cotton upon her youthful flesh, it had been so long since this particular individual had done so. For the last thirty-odd years, she had been a decrepit old woman, but now she had finally regained her youth and was thoroughly enjoying it.

The young girl, who was a beauty from another time slowly rose from her bed, wrapping the sheet around her slim short frame and headed to the shower to begin her day. Her long black hair fell around her as the water of the shower soaked into her bones, allowing her to enjoy its warm as she bathed her new young flesh. The woman took her time, it had only been three days since transformation and she was still enjoying her new form, as no doubt anyone would after being stuck in an old carcass for so long. The woman, Yumi being her name, had truly missed her youthful nature. Turning the shower off, Yumi wrapped a bathrobe around her body and left to her cupboard sliding the door open. No longer was it full of kimonos designed for an old woman, but youthful clothes to match her original tastes.

Yumi began changing dressing herself into a style described only as gothic lolita. Sitting above her knees a good two centimetres up she wore red and black garters with matching black garter belt attached to her long black stockings. Over the top the of her feet Yumi wore tall red high heel boots that went halfway up to her knees. The boots add an extra two inches of height. Her torso was covered by a rather short black and red gothic dress ending halfway to her knees. The dress was rather frilly around the bottom with a large red bow tied at the back, the tails of the bow reached Yumi's knees. The front of the dress across her stomach was a crisscross red bow, around her neck a black silk choker with a red tie reaching her chest. The sleeves of the dress were shorter reaching to her elbows. Her hair was tied back by a black piece that almost looked triangular cat ears, with a red ribbon tied in the middle. On her arms she slipped on long black gothic gloves.

Yumi finished dressed and left the room making her way into the small kitchen was Venom was eating an apple. Yumi grabbed an apple from the bowl on the countertop and took a quick bite. Yumi ate the apple as she left the room she was using and the Inn, Venom following behind her. The old woman in a young body made her way through oak, she wanted to test out her new body with a little combat. So she left Oak heading into the mountains to find a private area so she could work out her youthful form. Luckily for Yumi she found an enclosure high in the mountains surrounded by rocks, a far distance away from Oak to allow her the privacy she desired.

Unluckily for Yumi it seemed the area was already occupied if the sound emanating was an indication. Yumi approached carefully and quietly commanding Venom to hide while she investigating. Climbing the cliff Yumi found none other than her fellow Guild member Caius aka Black doing a little spell work. The old woman stood behind a large rock watching curiously as Caius stuck his hands and called forth a black wind. Yumi didn't dare budge as she watched Caius attempt to control his magic but it seemed the black wind was putting a strain upon him as his arms were shaking, she even caught him biting into his lower lip. Yumi stopped herself from exclaiming when his spell backfired and sent him flying back.

At that point as Caius began to rise Yumi decided to let herself be known. The old woman, in her new young body stepped out from behind the rock, left hand behind her back. She would raise her right waving it to catch Caius's attention, "Hello, Hello!" shouted Yumi in a youthful tone, no longer was it grouchy or bland. Her tone could also be described as seductive in a way, even if it wasn't intentional. "It would appear you are having a little trouble with your magic, that must have been painful no?" further added yumi as she continued approaching until she stood only ten meters from Caius, giving him a gentle smile.

"It would be a shame Black if you were to permanently maim thyself. The guild would forever lose one of its greatest potentials isn't of you were to be permanently injured" Yumi would use Caius's codename, whether he recognised her she would have no idea. Even though she had once showed him what she looked like in her youth, but that had been some time ago he may have forgotten since their last social meeting. "Perhaps Black it is that you require a partner to test and analyse your spells against instead of testing them on an opponent who can offer no feedback." Yumi would begin stepping away from Caius in order to stand fifteen meters directly across from him, both arms now by her side. As she stood there a dark aura would slowly be released from her being in the shape of black tongues of fire. The black like flames of mana flickered around her body, first as small embers before growing exponentially into a raging fire that encompassed her entire body making her eyes light up a demonic red.

A youthful voice greeted out to Caius while he was catching is breath from the last attack. His eyes quickly darted over to see who it was. Not many could make the hike up the mountain to the very top where the enclave was located. That would take some serious strength and endurance from even the most seasoned of mages. When he saw the the person who had called out to him, he was shocked to see a little girl looking around the age of 14 or 15. Her tiny body looked like it would break even from the weakest of spells. Something about her did seem a bit familiar but he couldn't place his finger on it. He pushed himself off his knee and stood back up to face the young woman. "And you are?" he would ask the new comer.

She didn't answer him but instead walked closer throwing in a cheeky comment about his lack of control with his magic. Caius eyebrows twitched with anger at the quip. If she kept running her mouth then she would find out about his magic power first hand. Being a young girl wouldn't save you from his wrath. However, the girl was even more of full surprises. She named dropped his secret code name from Grimoire Heart that only a select few knew.  That confirmed that she had to be from the guild but who? The way she spoke also had a familiar ring to it. It was now in a higher tone but it reminded him of.........Yumi? Caius eyes widened as the thought crossed his mind. He remembered the two of them at the bar talking about finding a way to regain her youth. The picture she showed him of her when she was younger looked somewhat like this girl from what he could recall. He shook his head at the notion to clear his thoughts. There was no magic he knew of that could revert the guaranteed notion of aging and dying. Instead, he would focus on the little girl's request. She offered herself as a partner for his training.

"You must be Grimoire then. That's the only way you would know that much about me. I haven't seen you around before so you must be some no name. Fine I'll accept your offer. I have many questions for you little brat but I'll get those out of you after I take you out." Caius stated in a serious tone. The best way to confirm his suspicions would be through battle. He could kill two birds with one stone by finishing his training and identifying this trespasser. The little girl had a sinister aura around her similar to his own that was jet black. A common intimidation tactic that worked on lesser mages but against a seasoned vet like Caius it didn't do much. He returned the favor in kind by gathering an aura of black wind that would circle around him. They were about 15 meters apart staring each other down before the start of the fight. Caius decided to take the initiative. He walked towards her keeping an eye on her small body as he progressed to react if she made a move. If he got to within 4.5 meters of her he would quickly flick of his left hand without warning and extend a black wind blade from it that was 5 meters long aimed at her chest. It was a weak attack to test her out. He hoped she wouldn't disappoint him.

Yumi allowed a cocky smirk to form on her lips as mana continued flooding out from her body in droves, while it nowhere rivalled Black's magical reserves it still exerted its own pressure. Small cracks formed in the ground beneath Yumi as she continued to face opposite Caius, waiting, watching to see just what his reaction would be to her sudden appearance. It seemed though he did not recognise or as she asked just who she was, though he was reasonable enough to deduce she must be part of Grimoire hear to know his codename. The brat comment caused her right eye to twitch for a single moment, but she supposed compared to Caius she did look like a little brat.

Yumi's smirk held as she watched Caius say he had questions and he could get them out of her, while training himself at the same time. The old woman relaxed her new youthful body watching calmly as Caius began approaching too close the fifteen-meter gap down to four point five meters. She suspected he may try a sneak attack or attempt to intimidate her, whatever it was she was would be ready. She averted her eyes upwards in order to look up at him, even with the distance he was still taller than her, being six foot six. With a flick of his left hand he launched a blade forged of black wind towards her aiming it at her chest.

Yumi retaliated the moment he fired, the old woman in the young palm performed a palm thrust with her right hand, firing a compressed vacuum shell of mana. The black shell of mana was aimed to strike the incoming blade, aiming to deflect or cancel it out based on the power of each spell.

Yumi would then kick back off the ground using magic to propel herself back five meters. She would raise her right hand and wiggle her index finger back and forth, "Not very nice Black-Gaki (Brat)" Yumi would use his own word against him before adding, "You'll have to try harder little boy, your fifty years too young to get the jump on me." Yumi would add saying this in a playful tone of voice, she even purposely added the bit of him being too young to see if it would click just who she was.


Since he had attempted to attack her first, Yumi would retaliate and go on the offensive. The gothic lolita raised her right hand pointing her index finger towards Caius. The black mana around her would swirl around to her palm encasing it black tongues of fire before flowing to her finger tip. The mana compressed focusing into a single point before Yumi fired it releasing a concentrated beam of pure magical energy, coloured black, with a 1m diameter straight towards Caius. The beam could travel up to fifteen meters and wth the 9.5m gap between them it would cross the distance with ease. The beam cut through the air as it sailed towards Caius aimed upwards at his chest.

Spoiler:

The black wind blade expanded out heading for its mark. Before it struck, the young girl in front of him retaliated with a move of her own. Her palm rose up and black magic appeared causing the wind blade to dissipate as the two collided in a small blast. The attacks were evenly matched in terms of power. Caius held his ground as the little girl would back off and taunt him about his lack of experience compared to hers. That black mana attack that surrounded the girl plus the taunt all but confirmed his suspicions. Yumi had a similar magic called Apocalypse Fist but something about it seemed a bit different that he couldn't quite put his finger on. The aura had a dark and sinister feel that wasn't like any type magic he had seen before. Yumi was known for her ruthless and brutal ways but this seemed evil even for her. What exactly happened that made her this way?

The questions could wait for now. "I'll admit you have some skill as little as it may be." Caius would say as a retort to her previous words. Just because he figured out who she was doesn't mean that he had to let her know that. He would keep up the charade for now. After she finished taunting she would return the favor in kind by firing off a beam of magic straight towards him from the tip of her finger. The beam was small but surely coming from a mage of her caliber it would be deadly. Rather than dodging, Caius held his ground. They had about 10 meters separating them so he had ample time to react. "Weak." Caius said. As soon he ended the last syllable of that word, a vortex of wind spun in his open mouth and fired out towards the goth loli. The beam and anything in a 10x3m radius in front of him was now engulfed by the black wind stream. It was one of his most powerful attacks but he expected a high rank member of Grimoire Heart like Yumi to find a way to against all odds and overcome it.

Yumi in her youthful form showed not outwards reaction to her opponents sudden attack as he unleashed a stream of black wind from his mouth that consumed everything in front of him, sailing towards the gothic lolita. IN return Yumi simply kept her hand raised even as it engulfed her first death beam. A sphere of black magical energy gathered at her right index finger as she took aim and fired a second black mana beam that crashed head on into the incoming attack. As the first beam struck, seven more were unleashed, the same size but each beam was significantly weaker individually, but together stronger. The nine beams would easily carve through the black wind allowing it to flow harmlessly around Yumi carving a trench in the earth beside her.

Yumi stood still, as if unaffected by the sudden attack, her hair falling down around her from the sudden breeze that had fluttered on by. The gothic lolitas body began to shake, her gaze was cast down. Her shoulders shook as a laugh escaped her rosy red lips. The laugh was light hearted before it erupted into a full-blown dark sadistic laughter. Yumi would throw her head up, her hair flowing around her, "Oh what a rush!" Exclaimed the goth loli as her mana flared again allowing her demonic aura to spike again, bursting open like a dam and swelling allowing an evil presence to fill the area.

As Yumi's aura spiked, floating out from the nearby rock formation came her familiar Venom. The one-eyed skull-faced creature floated over to his master unaffected by her aura, and s would Caius as it only worked on this much weaker than the old woman in her new youthful demon body.
"Dear Venom could you no longer contain your excitement?" Questioned the goth lolita in a sweet tone that held a vile edge to it. Yumi extended her left hand allowing her creamy fingers to brush against her companions mask in an affectionate manner, "While I enjoy your company, must you spoil my fun?" Said the goth lolita once more, she had been having fun keeping her identity a secret, but Caius had seen the Duskull before and would no doubt have put two and two together.

Spoiler:

The huge torrent of wind that blasted towards his opponent was dismantled with ease. The remaining pieces of the bellow were scattered harmlessly to the side around his opponent like it was nothing. His attack could have taken out even the most seasoned of mages but this one was unfazed. In fact, she seemed to be enjoy the chaos the two were causing together. Caius smiled at the sight as it showed that even though she had changed appearance, the powers she held were still intact. Black wind started to gather around his palm as he started to prepare for another onslaught for his opponent. If the roar wasn't enough, he would try out the new spell he had just trained to see if she could counter it. However, the attack was halted when a familiar skull face creature floated towards her. It was Venom, a companion that was only loyal to Yumi. The last time he had seen it was at their Grimoire Heart meeting in Oak Town when they were planning a big attack. In Caius" head he was already 99% sure it was her but this destroyed any doubt that was in his mind. Caius lowered his hand down and let the wind around his hand subside back around the air around him.

"There is only one person that little monster would follow." Caius pointed his finger towards the little girl in front of him. "That would be you Carnage. Do you want to tell me what exactly happened to you? Not only the youth that you seemed to have gained but the magic as well. Something about it seems....different." He couldn't hold his curiosity any longer. He had to know what happened. Yumi had always been a respected member of the guild but her methods were unconventional to say the least. The god that she worshiped demanded bloodshed which she would return in kind. Despite her being cautious all these years, he always prepared himself that her antics would get her caught or at the very least reveal who she was. If the god she worshiped demanded blood than he was sure it would have to be a large amount to make her look like this. The wind blew through his hair as he stood firm waiting for her response.

Yumi watched Caius carefully, in case he decided to send off another attack. Even as she began to lower her hands she never deactivated her barrage death beam spell allowing a sphere to glow on her right index finger. As she lowered her hand, Caius did the same, the wind around him beginning to die down. He commented about the monster, her familiar that was beside her saying it only followed one person. It seems the jig was up, especially as Caius pointed directly to her and called Yumi by her codename Carnage. He appeared to comment asking what happened to her as she was not only youthful but something about the old woman now in her youthful body seemed different.

Yumi gave a dark seductive chuckle as she tucked a strand of long black hair behind her right ear. Her crimson hues glowed with demonic power as black mana with a dark evil tint to it began to flow from her body, as light around her was absorbed by the darkness that flowed forth from her tiny body. Yumi continued chuckling to herself as if she had heard a funny joke before stopping completely, but the mana still flowed from her form, "What happened? Simple, I regained my glorious youth. After all these years of servitude to my Dark God Malum I have finally been rewarded, through sacrificing my own blood and life force I obtained new life....." Spoke the lolita in a soft tone that grew darker with ever word as mana encompassed her form in darkness making it almost impossible to see her through all of it.

"As a member of the demonic race." Finished the lolita as her mana slowly dissolved flowing back into her back as if it was never there,

The constant chuckling that echoed through the air was pissing him off. The old Yumi was serious about mission and her faith. Only very rarely did she show emotions besides anger. The new Yumi had an annoying attitude of a child which matched perfectly with her new appearance. It was going to take a while to get used to this new change. They were members of Grimoire Heart so they would have to make it work some how. Petty squabbles always ended up in a type of punishment if they got it the way of the guild goals.

The black aura around her seemed to grow more powerful by the second. It was enough to make his skin tingle on the outside but not much else. Most of the low rank mages would probably turn heel and run witnessing this power but he stood firm. He needed to find out what happened. Caius crouched down and listened to her story about her Dark God Malum finally rewarding her for the years of service she had provided. If that god did exist, he sure chose the right candidate. Whether it be in the city or on the ark Caius remembers seeing the aftermath of the rituals and it wasn't pretty. Imagine a ketchup bottle in a blender without a top and multiply that times ten.What intrigued him the most was her statement that she was part of the demon race now. Demons had always been told in horror stories of legends and even some mages he knew had the power to turn parts of their body demonic but he had never seen one in person. Most people would think it ludicrous to think they exist in the first place but Caius had seen it all in this crazy world of magic. He chose to believe.

Letting out a small chuckle he stood back up on his feet. "Haha a demon huh? Not exactly how I pictured one. The black aura is demon like but you don't have any horns, claws, or wings like in the stories. What other powers did this god of yours give you besides looking like a school girl? Surely there is more to it." Caius asked trying to get more information.

The moment regarding her not having horns, claws or wings like in the stories seemed to throw Caius almost like he didn't believe that she was a demon, just based off her demonic aura that Yumi excreted. Yumi gave a flirty chuckle at the comment about her looking like a school girl, "Oh my Dark God has gifted me with much for my sacrifice. For my sixty plus years of service he gifted upon me four abilities. The first you already see before you, my youth. But not only was my youth gifted my body became even stronger, growing to surpass my previous limits." Yumi clenched and unclenched a hand before turning to glance at a nearby boulder, it was twice her own size.

Yumi turned on her right heel pulling her right arm back before thrusting it forward, her hand clenching into a fist. Her fist struck the fist with mighty force, cracks spread out along it before the entire boulder shattered being reduced to pebbles, "Before I couldn't do that." Spoke the Gothic Lolita after demonstrating part of her new power, a boost in her physical strength. Yumi released her fist, and looked over her left shoulder, her crimson gaze locking back onto Caius.

"Of course that's just one out of the four. The second you've again witnessed, my demonic pressure. While it does not work on yourself, on those weaker than I, it installs a primal fear not only makes them shake and shiver before me, but it acts to decrease their fighting capabilities. The weaker they are the greater the decrease." Spoke Yumi as she turned her entire body back to face her guildmate.

"As for the other two, they offer me elemental immunities the first to the Darkness Element making me impervious to it. Secondly magically attacks without any element imbued within them are useless against me. Though this does not come without a downside, I have become weak to Light Elemental Magic." Yumi finished up as she sat down on another boulder, crossing her right leg over her left knee, sitting like a dainty young lady, with her hands folded atop her knee, right on top and left hand on the bottom.

She decided to put on a show by approaching one of the boulders that surrounded the area and kept them enclosed. Despite her small frame, one punch from her shattered it to tiny pebbles. While impressive, it wasn't something he had seen before. Any mages with consistent strength training could accomplish that. Caius was one of them. The second was the dark aura that she proudly showed off since arriving. It explained the sensation he felt and would come in handy against low rank mages that opposed him. The last and certainty most impressive was her immunities to non elemental magic along with darkness. He himself knew how powerful that was being immune to all forms of wind magic. However, hers came with a cost of taking extra damage from light.

Caius couldn't help but be impressed. Yumi accomplished her dream and became more powerful to help strengthening the guilds ranks. "Well now it seems you have gotten pretty powerful Carnage. It's a shame we don't have any other members around that wield non elemental or darkness magic. I wanted to see it in action." There was always the option to use his wind god slayer magic on her but it was only partially darkness element. While part of it would be absorbed, the wind would still severely damage her youthful body. Being a battlemage he didn't have many weak offensive attacks. Instead he focused more on her transformation. "So how many other people have you told about the new you? If you tried to back to the guild without an escort you would be attacked on site. Is that why you came to me?" Caius would ask.

Yumi listened as she sat upon the rock. Her familiar floating over for affection. Yumi raised her right hand removing it from atop her left to rest atop the skull mask of her companion, Venom. Yumi began rubbing the top of the mask affectionately earning a happy cry from the dark creature. As she pet him, she could feel the bone-like texture of the mask against her soft creamy skin. All the while Caius spoke, saying he wished to see her new abilities in action. While she would gladly show them off, she doubted she would hold much of a candle against the Mage known as Black, for he was higher on the Magical Chain then her. While as an old woman she was bitter about being weaker than someone much younger than her, but with her new form, she had felt her potential grow. It would not be long before she caught up to her fellow mage and helped to bolster the strength of the Guild.

Yumi stopped petting her companion returning her focus to Caius, "As of this moment you are the second to lay eyes upon my new form, but the first belonging to our guild. The other is some woman belonging to Phantom Lord, though she is unaware of my true identity." Spoke Yumi, not moving an inch from the rock she was sat upon. "While I am confident in returning to the guild on my hand and deal with any who attack me, having one who is aware of my, transformation would be beneficial. I do not wish to lay a scratch upon this new body of mine so early."

The Gothic Lolita hopped down from the rock and began to brush her skirt end of her dress off, getting rid of any dust. "While I do not desire to damage this body, I am more than happy to test its new limits against thee. I have yet to truly accustom myself to it." Yumi began to stretch her limbs, swinging her arms back and forth removing any stiffness in them. "This youthful body does not possess any of the flaws of my previous decaying one, but I still must break it in." The old woman in her youthful body moved her head to the right, allowing a loud crack to echo. As she began moving her limbs crackling could be heard. Her bones which were once old had regained their youth and were being used once more. By the sounds, it was clear it had been a long time since the old woman had let loose.

Everything that came out of the little girls mouth was trying his patience. It looked like he was the first from the guild that saw her in this new form so she would need his help when the time came. Being a B rank mage, she probably could handle anyone who questioned her approaching the Ark but she wished to avoid it. She wanted to preserve her new youthful body as much as she possibly could. At the same time, Yumi wanted to continue the spar with him. What nerve she had. Did she really think should could fight him and not take any damage with her new abilities by becoming part of the demon race? They were about to find out

Caius stood his ground the same 10 meters they apart they were standing before. The black wind was still circling around his body like a mini typhoon as he looked on at the little brat in front of him. "I see how it is. If you wish to test out your new found body then let us continue our little spar. I merely asked to sate my own curiosity. If you wish to return the guild I suppose I can carry your unconscious body after I'm through with you here." Caius said with an angry tone.

He lifted up his right hand and gathered an orb of black wind that extended out like a shuriken. Motioning forward like tossing a Frisbee, he tossed the newly created attack at his guild mate. Once it was within 5 meters of her it would detonate into a 10x3m in a sphere radius that would cause slashing damage to her newly formed body. However, that attack was only a front. Yumi dispatched his previous attack of similar power so he knew he most likely would need something more. He gathered magic energy into his left arm at the same time that attack was being launched. It was the attack she first saw when she arrived that he had trouble controlling. It was extremely powerful but in order to master it he would have to keep on trying. He didn't know what would happen but if he managed to keep the vortex stable, Yumi would be in for a surprise.

As yumi stood opposite Caius she began to stretch her limbs. She lowered her lower body, spreading her legs apart facing to the right, bending her left leg, keeping her right straight to put pressure on it. She dipped up and down on it for a minute before switching to the other leg, listening to Caius speak. She opted no reply even as the wind circled around him and he spoke in an angry tone, she just kept stretching her body warming it up. Once she was finished she stood back up straight, by then Caius had finished his little speech and lifted his right hand towards her beginning to gather black wind.

As Caius gathered his own magic, Yumi began to do the same. Mana coursed through Yumi's veins encasing her in a light black aura. Mana in the shape of tongues of black flames flowed off her body as wisps that flooded to her right hand. Her palm was open as her arm lay by her side. By this time Caius had thrown his wind which had taken a shuriken like shape, buzzing through the air towards her. As it sailed Yumi's mana formed a black orb in her hand which she immediately crushed as the shuriken detonated five meters in front of her consuming an area around her. As it detonated so did her own spell. Her Zenmetsu was an AOE spell that would detonate over a 5m3 area, but she had controlled it to detonate at impact the moment the incoming black wind was about to touch her own body. Allowing her natural demon resistance to darkness to sap the strength of the spell halving it leaving only the wind half, which her own spell would deal with.

With the spell weakened the two would be of equal rank and cancel one another out, leaving the area around Yumi shredded but herself and the spot she stood upon unharmed. Her familiar Venom had clung tight to her from behind using Yumi as a shield. Some would call it cowardice but the creature was only still young.

Yumi did not let her gaze leave Caius, but still gave commands to her familiar, "Venom, debuffs now." Barked out Yumi in a commanding tone. Venom floated out from behind Yumi and flew five meters forward until it was five meters from Caius. The companion began rocking its head back and forth before locking its sight onto the mage, it repeated the procedure once more in an attempt to lower the Grimoire Heart Mage's strength and speed. While it could be useless, it would at least give the creature fighting experience to get it closer to evolving to the next stage.

Spoiler:

The shuriken detonated in front of Yumi, expanding out the vortex of black wind. Before the entire area was engulfed, a counter spell was cast by Yumi. The magic she wielded was strong but his attack had the strength advantage as it pushed her apocalypse fist spell back. Much to his surprise however, his god slaying magic struck her to have no effect. Though the main magic he used was wind, it also was infused with the darkness element. He didn't tell many people about this in order to hide that fact. The less people that knew about it's weakness the better. He would just come up with an excuse on why his wind was black in color to sate their curiosity. Now Yumi knew this secret. It seemed the crazy story she told about becoming a demon immune to darkness was true. "Interesting"

With this newly gathered information, it would be tough in a battle of spells with her. He could try the S rank spell he was training earlier but he still had not fully mastered it at this time. It was risky. It could end the battle or leave him wide open for an assault. Knowing what Yumi did to her victims he dare not let his guard down. Caius instead settled to get in closer before attacking. Yumi's pet, Venom, flew in between them and started to stare at him. A feeling of weakness went through his body. It was almost like the feeling when you leave the gym and everything in your body is sore. Everything was heavy but this wouldn't be enough to slow him down. He tapped his heel and a black aura of wind surrounded his body increasing his speed. The feeling of weakness was still there but it was much less than before.

They were 10 meters apart so Caius decided to close the gap. He ran straight towards Yumi and Venom in a straight line keeping his eyes forward to react if they tried anything before reaching them. As he closed the 5 meters, if Venom was still there he would slap it away with one of his hands and continue moving forward. HIs main target was the goth loli. He would keep running forward until he was around 1 meter from her. Keeping his pace he lifted up his two fingers from his left hand causing a 1x3 meter blast of black wind that extend from his body. This meant to distract and block vision of Yumi from the real threat. He closed the gap until he was in arms length and threw a right hook at Yumi's temple. He would see how much this tiny body could take.

The tiny grim reaper like child made a weak cry as it was struck by the God slaying mage and sent flying back through the air where it crashed against a rock. The tiny creature was slightly weakened but was not defeated. After it hit the ground, Venom floated back into the air shaking its skull mask in order to regain its bearings. It puffed out its cheeks from beneath its skull mask, but it could do nothing but debuff, he could try and rush Caius for an attack, but his strength was incredibly weak and any attack would be like a tickle against the GOd slayer mage.

Even though Venom had attempted to debuff Caius of his speed, the mage countered by buffing himself engulfing his body in an aura of black wind. Yumi inhaled deeply drawing in air as Caius charged forth slapping her companion away with a single blow and advanced towards her. As he advanced Yumi would flex muscles and flick a wrist allowing dark flames of mana to burst from her body and course through her veins enhancing her physical being. The aura fluctuated around her as she swiped her right hand up into the air on a diagonal angle firing a 1m long 0.5m wide and 0.5m thick wave of black magical energy at the incoming sphere of black wind that had been launched towards her.

As Caius continued to advance using the attack as a distraction going with a right hook, Duskull who was watching all this from the side cried out, "DUSK!" in an attempt to alert his master. The worried cry drew Yumi's attention to focus onto Caius, looking beyond his attack as his and hers canceled one another out, to see an incoming right hook. The gothic lolita responded with her own left hook, aiming for their fists to clash against one another in a test of strength to see which would be stronger. Caius and his natural strength or Yumi with her own and buffed strength.

Spoiler:

The demon aura around Yumi fluctuated like it previously did from her attacks. The sinister attack collided with his own black wind causing them both to fizzle out from their powers being equal. It was exciting seeing that Yumi had improved so much in a such a short period of time. Though he loved his high ranking in the guild, it was always fun to see his fellow guild mates grow stronger and move up. He was sure that she would be moving up to the next level soon as an A rank mage like him. However, that didn't mean that he was going to hold back in this fight.

The wind attack did it's job and kept her occupied as he stayed true with his right hook attack. The skull faced pet he swatted aside earlier thwarted his plan tough by crying out and letting his master know. of the incoming threat. A left fist was her retaliation to his attack aiming to collide with his. She must have lost her mind in her old age. Her new body was much smaller so he believed his bigger frame gave him the advantage. Their fists collided as a shock of pain went up his arm and he was unable to push hers back. Shock was the only way to describe how he felt. Despite her size, the attacks had equal strength in power. This demon was sure a force to be reckoned with.

As soon as the attack collided, Caius switched to plan B. With each of them having an hand occupied he motioned his left hand to move his middle and index finger. The black aura of wind surged out from his body in a circle and would exploded upwards like a tornado. This was another one of the attacks he had mastered in the earlier training. With the close range and sheer destructive power of the spell, it would be a real test for Yumi to overcome this. You had to be prepared for anything and overcome it. That's what it meant to be leader in this guild.

Yumi allowed a bloodthirsty smile to form on her delicate pink lips. Mana flowed off her body in droves forming tongues of black flames that whipped around her violently. The ground cracked as her lips turned a dark shade of purple. Her eyes lit up burning a crimson blood red. Yumi pushed against Caius's fist mana flooding throughout her body as she went match for match against Black's own physical strength. Yumi did not back down as their fists locked. It seemed nor did Caius as she had a plan of his own already going into motion. As he did so did Yumi. Mana flowed into her free right hand encasing her fingertips in mana. As quick as could be mana rushed into her hand before it condensed at her right index finger into a small sphere of mana just as Caius unleashed his own spell at point blank range.

A black aura of wind that had encased him exploded out like a tornado. At the same time of its release, Yumi fired eight beams of black magical energy all at once that coiled around each other like snakes to strike the incoming wind to match its force. Yumi with a much tinier body would be sent sliding back from the impact of the two spells sliding back a good six meters before she dug her heels in and brought her body to a stop.

Yumi licked her lips in excitement as she raised her left hand to her lips, pressing an index finger to her lower lip. Her tongue brushed across the tip of her finger as a blush formed on her cheeks, her body quivered, "Ooooo." Cried the gothic lolita in a seductive moan. The Malum's worshippers body was quivering with excitement as an old feeling began to return, "I've longed for this, the excitement of battle. Ooooo how it feels so good." Moaned out the lolita as she ran her tongue seductively across her right upper lip. She could feel a warmth growing within the pit of her stomach, with her old age she had lost this kind of excitement she gained from battle, but with her youth restored so did it.

Spoiler:

Blow after blow was answered back and these current attacks were no different. Yumi tapped into her demon magic and used a previous attack from earlier. Multiple beams were fired that cancelled out the wind attack and sent him flying backwards. He raised his two arms across his chest to help reduce the impact from the recoil as they both slid back unharmed. They were now around 12 meters from each other getting ready to attack again.With this new demon form helping her resist his darkness magic, the old hag had become a tough opponent indeed.

The two seemed to be enjoying the battle at least. Caius had a smile on his face showing that he approved of the new power while Yumi let out some seductive noises enjoying testing out the youthful body. However, it was all just a front by the two of them. They both had a lot of stamina between them and his was getting low. This next exchange would most likely be the last that they could muster to determine a victor or loser in this spar. As both their dark auras surged around their bodies Caius stared the goth loli down. It seems he would have to pull out the big guns to deal with her. He raised his left arm and aimed it her preparing for his last attack of the match.

The black wind surrounding his body moved up to his left arm as he started to spin it around like a helicopter blade. Slowly but surely the wind started to move faster and increase in size. If she tried to interrupt this, he had other way of dealing with that. The violent wind was hard to control but his practice from earlier and the current spar helped deal with those issues. The wind concentrated into his left hand before expanding out into a vortex of wind in front of him to the size of 25x3m. The wind would launch towards the little girl in front of him that would slice like a blender if engulfed by it. It was his ace in the hole. God Slayer's Secret Art: Heavenly Gathering of Clouds

Yumi licked her lips as a warm pit formed in her stomach that was growing like a raging fire. The lolita's eyes began to haze up as her breathing became heavy, a thin layer of saliva forming on the edge of her tongue. Her cheeks darkened in colour as her entire body was heating up like crazy. Her familiar Venon was floating over to its master in her battle crazed state. Yumi was still able to think clearly but the feeling that she had not felt for so long was slowly overwhelming her being.

Yumi looked up through her hazy gaze as a black wind surrounded Caius as he prepared an attack. The wind expanded flying towards her. The black winds shredded everything in their path as they flew on towards Yumi with extreme prejudice. THe demonic being waited patiently for the attack to close in on her.

Yumi raised her right hand as the sphere of black energy began to reform at her fingertips. Her barrage death beam was a sustain spell, while it consumed a lot of mana, it was useful to allow her to continuously fire multiple beams at her enemy. She waited as the attack got closer, just inches from her being. Her dark immune body absorbed the power of darkness from the spell weakening it allowing her to fire her death beam spell. THe spell struck the incoming blender of wind to counter it matching its force. If she was not immune to the darkness element the spell used would know doubt have done alot of damage.

Yumi lowered her hand, the excess wind had whipped her hair about. Her mana was beginning to run low. She probably would only be able to fire her death beam spell once more, but she wasn't about to risk it. The lolita raised her hands in surrender, her blush never left though, "I will have to finish up here. I'm spent." Declared the gothic lolita before she tucked a strand of black hair behind her right ear.

Spoiler:

Caius' spell had the advantage. Her previous beams from earlier had no effect against the torrent of wind though it did weaken it a bit. The darkness from his magic washed over her but once again she stood unaffected by it. This demon was an annoying opponent for him but it would prove invaluable for Grimoire Heart which is all that mattered in the end. Other dark mages favored darkness magic as well so that would play an advantage if they ever tried to cross them. With his current mana reserves he wouldn't be able to fire off another shot and he didn't see much of a point to it. He had gauged her strength and was satisfied. Cauis took a deep breath and dismissed his aura of black wind as Yumi would raise her hands to stop the fight. She read his mind.

Caius clapped his hands together to compliment the demon loli. "Well done Carnage. Despite switching over to such a smaller body it seems your power has increased significantly. I"ll make sure the masters are aware of it. As for now I say we call it. We've both learned a lot from this skirmish." Caius walked over to Yumi and put his hand on her shoulder. "It's been too quiet. I feel something big is happening soon so be prepared." Caius would say as he walked towards the exit of the mountain training ground they were in. Caius would head back to his hotel in order to rest after such a strenuous battle. He wanted to be ready for when the guild called on him

Yumi gave a small smile as her body began to cool down the excitement of battle slowly decreasing within her. Her body cooled itself as the blush on her cheeks disappeared and the haze in her eyes vanished. Her breathing became steady as she watched Caius turn and leave after his brief wording. Yumi ran her fingers through her hair as Duskull floated around her floating up and down in a cheery manner. The lolita turned and began walking away heading back in the direction of town herself. She was thinking of travelling, perhaps she would see what was happening in Era these days.
