“Thank. Illumin.” Aonaka breathed out as he throw himself back to his bed. This new apartment was quite the dirty one without a doubt. He had spent whole day cleaning it and the floor his flat was on. It had taken him quite some time but now the difference between the other floors and his floor, 4th one, was quite funny to see. Cat piss, cat piss, cat piss, glittering beauty of eternal Illumin and grace, cat piss and so on. A smile on his face replied to his silly little thought. The apartment wouldn’t be forever, of course, but denying that it was that much of a bad place, so bad that even temporary standing would be unbearable was just not correct in the slightest, especially after the hard cleaning Aonaka had gone through. Panthello was also enjoying the apartment given that it had its fair share of rats and bugs, all which were perfect snacks for the mammal that was helping the cleaning in his own way. The vines that covered the buildings were nice for the mammal to cling on and rest, maybe even play around.

Aonaka however had other stuff in his mind for that he had already scouted around the town to find a job board, a place where he could earn his living like he used to. However perhaps staying away from the people that shared their traits too similarly to the dark doctor Aonaka knew very well, Doctor Mabuz. The mission he had embarked on with his friend Kenny, who Aonaka had left a letter via Panthello to tell him where he went along with Nastasya, was quite nice because it wasn’t evil. Aonaka stopped in his tracks. It wasn’t evil, but then, his other missions were? The thought was something that he simply didn’t want to learn about and he would carry on to his way.

A piece of quest paper would be standing on the bed as Aonaka washed his face, brushed his teeth and cleaned his glasses to put on a better stance and left his flat. It was nice that he wouldn’t meet the dreaded scent of cat piss after his work. It was a proud feeling, dammit and Aonaka would enjoy the sensation as long as possible, he needed it. At least he felt like he did. He would run down the stairs quickly and push open the apartment gates to meet with a wonderful street. “This place is much better than Oak isn’t it Panthello.” Aonaka told the mammal on his shoulder and started to walk towards his destination.

He was to meet a person name Dex, whom claimed to be a detective but Aonaka was warned when he picked up the paper from the board that he wasn’t the most sanest of a person. Thinking that that was fine, Aonaka would finally make his way to where Dex was waiting and introduce himself. Dex was... a different person. He would randomly whisper and claim that they are being watched, sometimes he would touch Aonaka up and down to check if he was a spy that was hiding some weapons. Aonaka would have to reassure the guy more than one time as the sun started to set to make him trust him. “T-there is a big ball by the river... he is a culprit... I can feel it?!” the quote and quote detective would claim and start to drag Aonaka despite a small vowel of resistance that arise from within the beast master mage.

A big blue ball of light wasn’t a thing that sounded exclusively scary no doubt. However the simple cover of horrid that danced around Dex’ words were more than enough to peak Aonakas curiosity. They left the gates as a young man looked at them with a crocked brow and arrived at the river soon after. The sun was now completely down but the eerie atmosphere wasn’t going anywhere and neither it felt not looked like it planned to. Dex took cover behind a thick framed tree and used his finger to shush Aonaka down, telling him to be quiet afterwards. He then took out a silvery light gray flask and the smell of whiskey was everywhere. “You shouldn’t drink now, really,” the sane mage commented but Dex wasn’t about that mind at all. The so called detective would talk a bit more before nodding to himself and rolling towards another tree.

Aonaka realized that this was a bit futile and decided to investigate the orb himself. With quaint steps the boy walked towards the mystical looking orb and crouched. “Well... it doesn’t seem harmful, right Panthello?” Aonaka asked and Panthello growled in response. “Dex, come closer!” Aonaka called but the detective was shaking in fear. However surprisingly he would slowly step closer still muttering about a lost case.

There was a hauntingly beautiful thing about the orb no doubt but Aonaka couldn’t place his fingers on it. It was alluring no doubt and the mage wanted to feel what this was all about. He raised his hand despite Dex protested and touched the orb. The initial feeling was that of cold and a tingling sensation that one could call... a pleasant feeling. However a sudden flash, bright lights and Aonaka was seeing a vision no doubt. It was a baby and he knew that it was him, being embraced by two other people that weren’t his parents... or were they? Aonaka reached towards his vision to get a feeling, some answers, ever since that white Claudia experiment things have been weird with names, visions and blood related stuff. Before Aonaka could reach in or anything however, the sphere of blue exploded into a high magical force, throwing him and Dex away, Aonaka barely managed to cover his head at the last minute to not take any high harm, but Dex had passes out.

Quickly, Aonaka would carry Dex to the city with Panthello flying over them. The same young man that looked at them before they left saw them and came running. “The hell happened??” he asked and took Dex from Aonaka, seeing that they both had some wounds on them. Aonaka while panting spoke, “I did some healing magic, but he still needs to get medical attention..” he said and followed the guy man that introduced himself ad Dacol. They arrived at a hospital and despite their sayings Aonaka refused medical attention, feeling embarrassed to get undressed and what not. Dacol and he sat down at a close by cafe to get some snacks and tea as they talked about what happened and where they were. Aonaka told him everything word by word until Dex woke up, claiming that the mission was a success. Aonaka was rewarded shortly after, however he was told to contact Dacol if anything happened again and that Dacol would keep Aonaka in his own mind as well.
