ManaLance wandered the town of Orchidia aimlessly for a non existing answer. He did this everywhere he went. Magnolia. Hargeon. Oak. Baska. This place was no different. All his life he thought he meant something to this world at least with a simple last name. Even that small of an aspect was priceless. He had no last name. No true identity. The world just knew him as Lance. Nothing else. People passed going to the market or going to the local guild. He paid no attention to that though. If there was one thing he had wished for, that would be someone or someplace where he held some meaning. Some sort of definition of his existence. He had no friends. No known family. No one who held his trust. He was a ghost aimlessly walking around hoping to stumble upon an answer.
A timid creature he was when people tried to talk to him. He would use his extremely tall height to intimidate people to keep from speaking. Lance was not one for confrontation with people and prefered to hide rather than say anything. Why that was so? He could not pin point it. It was probably due to his distrust with people after all the years they burned him. Lance would finally get out of town to go near the local river than ran by the town. Water was a calming thing. The wind was a slight breeze just enough to brush his hair with a small movement. The path to the river was an old beaten one with foliage growing around it giving it a impression it was never there. Though, Lance could tell people have used it in the past just has been a while or the activity has died down. Carefully, he took a few steps hearing the gravel growl. His blue eyes look from side to side ot make sure no one was following him. He went pressed forward with the path. There right there! Was the river. A small shown on his lips as she sat down and watched the water flow. There was something about this compound he just loved. He then heard someone coming from behind him as she just sat down. His only words he spoke was.
"Who goes there!?" he bellowed in reaction.
