Personal Name: Tomatsu Kiryuu Age: Eighteen Gender: Male Class: Warlock Rank: D-rank Guild: Guildless Tattoo: Finger Knuckle || Black Face: Juuzou Suzuya -- Tokyo Ghoul Appearance Height: 5’8 Weight: 135lbs Hair: Black || White Eyes: Red Overall: Tomatsu is an unorthodox character who regularly switches his hair color from blacks to whites. He typically dresses in loose-fitted attires, and slides. The boy has stitches sewn into his flesh. The threads lining his body extend from his arms to his torso and face. He appears to feel pretty sensitive about keeping them in, having taken special care in getting them in there to begin with. He refers to them as his decoratives-- and removing them causes him panics that are quite alarming, so much so that they're enough to steer many people away. Another piece to his strange outfits are the suspenders that are changed out regularly, depicting stripes or polka dots... Tom is usually caught smiling. Even in moments where such a thing would have him killed. With his psyche being a fair bit imbalanced, he is almost always moving with a rushed kick to his step. Something to characterize him and make him stand out. As far as his long hair is concerned, it’s always a mess, though his attention doesn’t linger on it. Rather he’ll go about his life without taking any mind to what others say or think about him, and this goes for anything. It’s just him being odd, no one has to watch, besides; he’d rather leave people feeling strange than being forgotten or etc. as a whole. Extra: Tomatsu has wide eyes with bags under them, giving evidence to his deprived sleep schedules. This doesn’t hamper his seemingly infinite hyperactivity though. His energy never depletes, especially when his stamina should be low. Personality Personality: Psychotic and imbalanced as feasibly possible. Tom is his own person, a vigilante working outside the law and a human with sociopathic tendencies. Even despite this he still resides on the nicer sides of the alignment spectrum. Merciless in combat but overall compassionate for flowers or small creatures-- Tom finds a harmony with the naturalistic of things. It’s other people who set him off, and it’s those people who press his buttons. Young Kiryuu just wants to help after all. When people find the boy they immediately want to get him to a hospital and remove the threads stitched through his skin, but this only worsens whatever patience Tomatsu manages to offer them. His lunatic atmosphere soon has them moving away, but it wasn’t his intentions at all. Tom is a boy with no home, no friends, and... What most would consider the most stalwart kind of willpower. Hence putting up with ignorance all his life. The young man doesn't reject the idea of surrendering, but he vastly denies it to be the answer to his problems-- or anyone's really. Sometimes quitting doesn't even register as an option, he’d die before letting it. Holding the classic mindset that anything can be achieved if one stays true to themselves. He can be mistaken for a lot of things due in part to this stand alone character trait, usually bad or negative opinions are drawn out to depict his image. But he knows that he isn't here to impress anyone. He loves to surprise people, what better way to do that then to give them a false truth concerning what he is? Besides! Impressing others is just another old thing that can't be forced, one has to make the most out of any situation, it's the only way to go. No matter how hard you find yourself failing to fit in, being yourself is the more righteous answer. Accept yourself or no one will-- it’s a pretty deep subject to touch on. Understanding that subject is the first step to knowing who Tom is and what he stands for. In an odd way, he views himself a hero of justice. However, he doesn’t appear to care who he hurts so long as he makes himself happy. Kiryuu family members have an issue learning to cope with themselves, almost everyone with the last name has an addiction to their pain threshold. Making them natural masochists-- especially when in the heat of combat. It isn’t so much a sexual, moreso it revitalizes him and has him throwing himself forward multiple times. He’d be comparable to a juggernaught, if it weren’t for his relatively short height. Even then, the boy is pretty dangerous. While he has no notable skill at the start of his story, he does the ‘Flare’. The spark that all warriors carry within them, and above else. He plans to make heavy use of it, one way or another. Magic Name: Clayman Magic Magic Element: Earth Magic Description: Tom's magic focuses on explosive amounts of counter-attacks, using the body as a separate appendage and allowing the earth to act according to the slightest impulses displayed. The user manipulates all the basic forms of minerals, from sand to stone. Higher levels and potentials grant a Clayman the potential for gems or even monolithic structures to abide by it's calling. This magic is absolute manipulations and that entitles it to the ability to bend the very matter pertaining to Earth. Creating dust storms out of a boulder or, in turn, turning a dust storm into a boulder. All easily done by compacting the foundations of the elements together or loosening them.
History History: The cliche tale of a boy who couldn’t sit still and wanted to fit in. Tomatsu is from Marigold. Growing up in a house with an older sister and a father. His mother and father divorced but he saw her on the weekends and the kids were fine with that. Many believe it was the divorce that shattered Tom and made him into what he is. Socially rigid and honestly-- pretty strange. He doesn’t really remember when he picked up running off, but he did it often throughout his childhood. There was little his parents could do to punish him. Pain wasn’t a strong concept for Kiryuus', it just made them try harder to win. They were a stubborn people. Tom’s father told him, “Hey kid. Don’t be dumb. Stop that.’’ but he laughed in the face of danger, so his sister recommended mental institution. Obviously Tom said that it wasn’t needed, nor required. He was just fine! The family agreed this was a good idea against his wishes, so they placed him in one. The plan went south real fast, while inside his rehab he met others' with like-minded, but equally insane, answers to why their loved one’s would chain them into an asylum. Tom offered up the idea of a revolution within the walls. There wasn’t ‘suppose’ to be any casualties. But people died, and Tom found himself unphased by their lives cut short. It was here that he realized he must be a hero, to have saved these poor prisoners' without feeling the stings of guilt. He turned his eye to other institutions across Fiore and eventually amassed a small army of crazy people. But left the army with his oldest friend from the institute, the one they were held in from the beginning. Some time later he found in the news they had died; those who didn't were brought in by the Magic Council-- as well as the Rune Knights. This left a sour taste in the young 'vigilante' psycho. He swore that everywhere he went past that point, he would operate justice in his own forms. Ever since then, he’s casually been referred to names such as: savior, arsonist, traveler, and even murderer. But what he does is to help people! So it isn’t bad. Not to him, sometimes sacrifices must be made in order for the right things to be done. Of course it is! Or so he believes. Tom’s family believed that the boy died in a massacre somewhere along the time he was escaping. Since most of the break outs involved numerous deaths. His body was never recovered though, so no evidence suggests it really. Tomatsu carries on with his days doing exactly what he always wanted. He decided never to return home simply because his family called him ill-- when he argued that he wasn't. To him, it was crazy to abandon him there! So who’s really in the wrong!? Either he’s really insane, or they’re insane. But one thing is for certain. No one will ever lock Tomatsu up again, and if they try, he’ll just break out. He’s a natural trickster like that. Always has been. Always will be. |
