Every quest you complete will earn you +1 Soul Coin along with other standard event rewards.
- Moderate Storyline Quest: Unravel the mysteries in our unique storyline quest: Shadows Over Joya. Embark on this adventure to uncover dark secrets and earn even more rewards!

You might have noticed we mention the term "Soul Coin" a few times. Why is that? What are Soul Coins? Soul Coins are objects you will collect through the methods listed above during the event. Once the event is over, you'll be able to claim your soul coins, and a special shop will open, allowing you to exchange them for Experience, Mana, Attribute Points, or Jewels!
Halloween Dice Game You may roll once per day in the new area called Halloween Dice Game. You will start a thread like other games, as detailed in the Halloween Dice Section. At the end of the event, you will link all of that character’s Token earning quests and their dice game for rewards.
You will land on 3 possibilities
- You gain +1 Soul Coin
- You got nothing, better luck tomorrow.
- You have -1 Soul Coin stolen by an evil spirit.

The Tanuki’s Tavern of Terror
The mythical Tanuki of Joya are famed for two things; Mischief and Drinking! Seeming to take advantage of the influx of people and the spooky tales of ‘Halloween’ which they have brought with them, a group of Tanuki have used their magic set up a series of bars across town and disguise themselves as the staff, whilst hoping to ensnare those with a taste for drink in their schemes.
Those who enter them likely happy to discover they are given their first round on the house, unfortunately the brew which they serve is laced with magical hallucinogens, and seems to almost immediately cast the user into some strange or spooky adventure from which they must regain their wits and escape!
Ultimately the hosts not looking to be outright malicious but rather amuse themselves and spread joy, they will reward any ‘patrons’ with tokens of their appreciation, should they either escape the taphouse or merely succumb and wake the next morning confused, but better off for it.

Yokai Watch!
Few lands more rife with superstition and folklore than the realm of Joya, the stories of the strange creatures which supposedly live in the land are numerous and revered, though such esteem seems to have been waning a little in light of the tales and customs brought in by the recent influx of visitors from other lands, and those who were once held in such regard aren’t happy about this.
Deciding to band together for a common cause, a group of spirits now intend to bring terror back to the bawdy streets of Izakaya, using their magic to leave a mark upon both locals and visitors alike, and reclaim their status as the kings of the spooky season!
As such one needs to be careful walking the streets at night, because you never know who you might run into~?

Roll #1-20: Kyuubi no Kitsune
- Spoiler:
Powerful masters of illusion and more often than not malign, the nine tailed demon fox is best likened to a succubus for their tendency to fool and feed upon folk, though some in legend have achieved significant renown for their influence over court and even emperors. Merely seeking meals at this time, they will appear to those they meet in an impenetrable disguise to get close to them, using their powerful abilities of insight to assume a form to disarm such as that of a beauty or someone the person(s) are close to, but ultimate seek to prey upon those they meet and reveal their true form, forcing said parties to flee or if they are lucky drive the beasts away by showering them with salt, which they hate.
Roll #21-40: Tsuchigumo
- Spoiler:
The monstrous spiders of Joya something which would dominate one’s nightmares, these beasts are gigantic and better compared in size to a rhinoceros, yet despite this bulk perfectly capable of masking themselves in the ground without notice. Those who come across these creatures likely ambushed as they lurch from the earth in a quaking rumble, would-be victims would be set upon by a terrifying eight legged creature spitting sticky webs at them and even juvenile offspring which range in size between that of a tarantula and a large cat. Typically forced into a harried retreat because of this, oddly these creatures are driven into a stupor by coffee of all things, which seems to cause them to be disorientated and confused, and much easier to get away from.
Roll #41-60: Kamaitachi
- Spoiler:
Creatures often more associated with mountainous areas than urban settings, these deadly mustelids have been drafted in all the same, and though small are no less lethal if left to their own devices. Often hunting in groups of three, they are so quick the average eye would struggle to notice them moving until it was too late, as they sweep about their environment like whirlwinds to lash out with their razor sharp scythe-like claws, which can cut through flesh like a hot knife through butter. Those who encounter them likely to be first alerted by the way they cut at the buildings around them, being outside their element so to speak has hampered their deadliness a little since they do better in empty spaces rather than built up areas, so one may be able to evade and escape them. The way in which they spin also a vulnerability, these animals can become entangled in ropes and things, providing an opportunity to escape as they cut themselves loose.
Roll #61-80: Kuchisake-Onna
- Spoiler:
Appearing as a lovely looking woman in a Kimono who has the lower part of her face hidden by a folding fan, this Yokai will typically ask passers by if they think she’s pretty, then reveal the horrific split and bloody mouth that she possesses, and ask again. Regardless of response being driven into a frenzy after this, she is an unstoppable revenant spirit who will chase down those she had met with the intention of killing them, with the victim usually being forced to flee and escape her wrath. Though, it has been said that the fury of these creatures can be pacified by sweet candy, and she may leave one who gives it to her in peace. Roll #81-100: Bakeneko
- Spoiler:
Much like the foxes of folklore the cats in Joya said to gain both magical power and monstrous sentience when they become old enough, most feared among them is the Bakeneko, which is said to command the power of flame prey upon people. Those who encounter this creature perhaps at first assuming that they had come across a mere stray likely mewling at them with an odd forked tail, when their targets draw near these animals can swell in size to the scale more akin to a bear or even an elephant in some examples, and will chase said parties like mice, attempting to kill and consume them and even launching ghostly fireballs toward them. Escape practically the only option, these overgrown housecats hate a bath as much as the creatures they are born from, and will not chase people past streams or can be forced into retreat by being drenched.
