Bianca packed her clothes quickly as she didn’t want to walk in the scorching sun. It was already half past eight in the morning, so she stuffed all off her belongings into her bags and checked out of the inn. She paid for her stay and dragged her bags out of the building, waiting outside for a carriage to take her to Marigold. It was a pretty expensive coach ride since she was going to have to go through Magnolia and Hargeon as well, but she had the money and she wasn’t going to walk somewhere that was six hours away.
Once the carriage arrived, Bianca got on, noticing that she was alone this time, which was a relief. She could just sleep the whole way without worry. She asked the driver to make sure if she was going to be alone for the rest of the journey or if he was going to pick up a few others on the way. When he said that it was going to be just her on the carriage, a huge grin spread on her face before she shifted in her seat until she was comfortable, and dozed off. She wouldn’t have to worry about anyone stealing her things.
Since she wasn’t such a heavy sleeper, Bianca woke up as soon as the carriage came to a halt, looking around to see where she was. The carriage driver had brought her to a part of town that had inns and hotels, which was good because then she wouldn’t have to go around town looking like a hobo while she searched for a place to live. She fixed her hair and paid the driver saying, “Thank you!” and then hopping off the carriage with her things. She would look around first and find an inn to stay in and then take another nap until the sun set. It was still about three in the afternoon when she arrived.
