Personal Name: Thane Starstrider Age: 23 Gender: Male Class: Mystic Rank: D-rank Guild: Lamia Scale Tattoo: Right side of Thane’s neck, coloured pale green Face: Corrin (Male) - Fire Emblem If/Fates Appearance Height: 181 cm / 5.9 ft Weight: 67 kg / 147 lbs Hair: White-creamish Eyes: Scarlet red. They don’t look menacing, rather charming, as if beckoning people towards Thane. Overall: Thane’s stature is that of a regular young man. He keeps himself fit, which results into him having an athletic-esque body with hints of muscle. His skin colour is fairly light, not too pale, though. His hair is fairly short - above shoulder length, somewhere in between white and cream in terms of colour. Thane also has a fringe, with a bang reaching between his eyes, and slightly longer hair on back of his neck, which seemingly never wants to cooperate. He can be mostly seen wearing his black and white battle gear with a blue cape and no shoes. However, he does sport a pair of jeans and a tight t-shirt if he feels like it. Mostly without shoes. Personality Personality: Overall, Thane is quite cheerful and upbeat. He’s not the most sociable person out there, but he isn’t afraid of talking to other people. He can be a bit snarky and cheeky at times, but he means no ill will. Sometimes he may start thinking about too many, heavy topics and thus zone out a bit. Which, in turn, makes him miss a bit of current conversation, if he is engaged in one. Due to the style of his upbringing, Thane has developed a strong sense of respect towards people. Be it a king or a homeless person, he will treat them with equal respect. This may make him seem overly formal at first sight, but as time progresses and one gets to know Thane better, he will treat them as a proper friend. On the note of his upbringing, his strong sense of wanderlust, should be mentioned. Since he was raised in a quite an isolated town, Thane had always loved exploring outside of its boundaries, hoping that one day he would venture even further beyond. As any other person, Thane aswell, has some negative quirks to him, so to speak. The most prominent would be his limited knowledge, when it comes to other parts of the world. He only knows small tidbits and facts that he has gathered from passing travellers. As such, there is a high probability that he will get lost at some point. Thane is not the biggest fan of insults and will snap easily, if he hears one or one is directed at him. Because of this some people think that he is a bit too hot-headed, but really, he snaps on only rare occasions. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: The Northern Tempest Magic Element: Wind Magic Description: Even though Thane was trained in sword arts, he always saw himself slightly differently. His call answered a particularly freezing gust of wind and Thane welcomed it. The element of wind has more than enough of offensive capabilities. Thane, however, chose to embrace the cold wind's blessing differently. His strength lies in channeling light breezes to soothe wounds, enhancing strengths of his allies or shaping the winds to form walls, that, albeit quite limited, can block certain attacks. One of more prominent abilities Thane has at his disposal is lending the wind's nimbleness to his allies in order to help them dodge attacks or close short distances. Dashing around the battlefield, easy as the wind, while mending allies’ wounds was Thane’s vision and the cold winds responded in kind. Since his magic’s style makes Thane somewhat dependant on others, he is not afraid to put his years of training with a sword to good use. History History: Thane’s life has been fairly simple and straightforward. He did lose both his parents to an avalanche tragedy in very early stage of his life, so he didn’t get attached to them. To him, that part of his tale is nothing more than a blur or a blank space and he doesn’t seem to care. He may be thinking about them from time to time, wondering, but in the end, he chooses to stay in blissful ignorance. Thane was taken in by an elderly man, who used to be the town’s guardian. He both trained and raised Thane to the best of his abilities and the youngster was thankful for everything. It wasn’t exactly easy to raise Thane, as he often wandered off into a nearby forest or climbed the town’s countless stairs. In return, the boy worked and trained hard, to repay the elderly man’s kindness. However, when Thane grew older, during one of sparring matches he watched over, one of the combatants got injured by the other. Thane quickly ran to the wounded one and tried to look for bandages. Instead, he felt a cold wind building up around him before wrapping itself over the wounds, healing them. That was the time Thane realizes his magic potential and a bit later decided to pursue it further. The pursue of honing his magic skills wouldn’t go far, if Thane stayed in Nanuq town. For him, it was a no-brainer decision to leave and travel, perhaps find a stable company of a number of people. The elderly man watched him go with pride. Sooner or later, Thane would return. But under what circumstances, he knows not. |
