Go D. Drakkon
Drakkon had brought Hai and Deino to the construction of what was going to be the new Guild building. It was a Shinden-Zukuri, which was a Japanese-style home that was huge enough to fit a lot of people within the area. It took a lot of space, but this would be where the members of the guild would be able to hang out, take on quests, and even rest in their own rooms. Of course, all of this was in the works as he had been helping out and guiding the construction of this.

“This is a work in progress. I didn’t want to use the castle the former Guild Master was using, so decided to make my own place for the time being. I brought all the Dragon Eggs with me to keep them safeguarded. Follow me and I will take you to the room I created for the Eggs.” He said to Deino.

Hai walked slightly behind Drakkon as the man had started walking. They had entered through the front door as they had created the walls of the establishment first. When they entered, the group would see a bunch of people moving around gathering materials to use to build the stuff around this place.

Something had come into Drakkon’s head as he looked over to Deino.

“By the way Deino, will you like to train under me? I’m looking for individuals that I can train to be strong enough to be known throughout this land, not throughout this world. Do you think you’re up for the challenge?” He asked him curious to hear what he had to say.

Deinosuchus
Deinosuchus walked alongside Drakkon and Hai, his dragonesque eyes darting around the construction site of the new guild building. The towering walls caught his attention, and he let out a low whistle. “Big place you’re makin’ here,” he said, his tail swishing behind him. “Good. Gonna need somethin’ like this for a proper guild. But, uh…” He scratched his chin, glancing over at Drakkon. “You’re gonna need to give me the biggest room here.” It might have sounded like a boast, but the sincerity in Deino’s tone was unmistakable. “Not for status or anythin’... I just figure if I’m gonna be a mountain one day, I’ll need the headspace. Can’t have my head scratchin’ the ceiling or my tail knockin’ over furniture, y’know? Plus, I’ll need a big bed to sprawl out on. Gotta be comfortable if I’m gonna grow.” He gave a firm nod, as if this was the most logical request in the world.

As Drakkon posed his question about training, Deino stopped in his tracks, crossing his massive arms as he mulled it over. He tilted his head slightly, his sharp teeth grinding as he thought. “Hmmm… train under you, huh? Alright. Yeah, I’m up for it,” he said after a moment. “Not sure I care about fame or infamy, though. Don’t matter much to me. As long as I get stronger, that’s what counts. But… hrm... well everyone does know the names of the tallest mountains, don’t they? Makes sense. If I’m gonna be the biggest, strongest mountain around, then yeah, I guess it’s only natural everyone’s gonna know my name too. One day, they’ll all look up at me and say 'That’s Deinosuchus, the mountain that towers over all.’” He would get a solemn look on his face after that thinking about how he could show up back home the biggest in the tribe at that point, instead of being the smallest. “So yeah, Master Green Turtle, you’ve got yourself a student.”

Go D. Drakkon
Drakkon walked through the outside of the constructed area. It was almost done, and within a few weeks, they would have a new home. While he thought about this, he heard Deino speak and he chuckled a bit. He was already demanding things from him, which he found funny.

“No need to worry, you will have room for yourself. The rooms are all the same size and that is because we need to prepare a space for people like you or even bigger.” He said to Deino.

Drakkon didn’t care about fame either, he only cared about dealing with chaos throughout the world. That was his objective, and it seemed like Deino just wanted to become stronger and bigger. He wasn’t sure how that would work, but he didn’t know how his biology worked. It would be interesting to see if he got bigger as he got stronger, now that would be interesting.

Drakkon continued to push through the place as the workers there acknowledged him before continuing on with what they were doing. The Yakuza boss heard Deino accept his offer, which was a good thing because it meant

“That is good to hear Deino. You won’t regret it, well you might, but you will become stronger for it.” He said to him with a smirk on his face.

Hai shook his head as he knew this would be tough on the man, but in the end he would look back at the past and knew it was the right choice. The group would make their way to a specific building. It looked different than all the rest and bigger. He entered the place and the wooden floors were nicely done. Drakkon took off his shoes and looked over to Deino who wore no shoes.

“Wipe the bottom of your feet down you two before entering.” He said to them.

Hai would do exactly that with a nearby towel. He had accounted for Dragons not wearing shoes, so he had cloth and a place to wet the cloth at the entrance. Once Hai had done what he was told he entered the place.

“I call this the Dragon Sanctuary and it is where I stay.” The place had two floors the base, and the second floor where he had his room.

It actually had a third floor, which was the basement where the dragon eggs were kept and hidden.

Deinosuchus
Deinosuchus glanced down at his bare clawed feet as Drakkon mentioned wiping them. At first he seemed puzzled, but then he spotted the towels and the small washing station at the entrance. With a nod, he moved over and carefully wiped the bottoms of his feet with the cloth, his tail swishing slightly behind him as he worked. “Huh, guess that makes sense,” he muttered. “Don’t wanna mess up the place where the eggs are. Respect.”

Once he was done, he stepped inside he started to immediately scanning the Dragon Sanctuary. The place was impressive, with its polished wooden floors and carefully crafted design. He could tell this was no ordinary building and that it was built with purpose, with respect for what it housed. As they walked, his mind wandered to the eggs they were about to see. “So, do all the eggs look the same?” Deino asked, his voice carrying that mix of curiosity and bluntness. “Like, are they all the same size, same color? Or are they different? Back home, turtle eggs come in all sorts of sizes, depending on the turtle. Some are small, some are huge. And they’re all kinda leathery, y’know? Not hard like a rock or thin like a bird egg. They got this soft shell you can squish a little.” He paused, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. “Dragon eggs gotta be different, though, right? I’m guessin’ they’re bigger, maybe tougher. Probably all kinds of colors, too. Like, if I’m gonna get one, I wanna know what to expect. You think it’s gonna look like a rock or something fancy?” His tail gave an idle thump against the floor as his curiosity grew, clearly eager to see what lay ahead. Sadly it would be evident that Deino had forgotten to wipe his tail...DUH DUH DUHHHHHH (cue music)
