Eva walked down the road to Magnolia with a yawn. Last night’s event was a half blur in Eva’s head. She remembered having blood all over her hands and hair. She also remembered the pale look the inn owner had given her when she went in. The realization that the blood wasn’t hers only seemed to make the matters worse. This morning, she had received a scared look from her as she placed a foot out the door and heard a relieved sigh when she closed the door behind her. But whatever, she wans’t someone to be fazed by something like that. She would be in Magnolia soon and that’s all that mattered.
