The first thing she would do is actually get some food so that she was not starving when she met the guy and be all weak because she had no energy. Although human food did not really give her as much energy as drinking blood, it did give her some strength temporarily. That was all she needed for now. Besides, she had just recently sunk her teeth in a one of the Marigold citizens’ neck and pretty much caused the victim to faint. It was a brunette girl who was probably on her way back from work. She imagined so because of the uniform she was wearing, and the little lunchbox she was carrying. Bianca took her on a small bridge that was not brightly lit, so no one could really see her in the dark of night. Since the girl fell unconscious after Bianca was finished with her, Bianca dumped the body and the lunchbox into the river that the bridge was built over and went back to the inn. She did not have to clean up much since the girl was too scared to struggle, so it did not create such a big bloody mess. That was about two days ago, so she would have to go hunting again in a day or two. Back to the job at hand, Bianca simply walked to the center of town where she decided to start looking for Shon. She imagined it would be easy to find him since Alice described him to be fat, actually more than fat. She wrote that he was obese.
The description that Alice provided was actually quite accurate. It said that he was obese, had short brown hair, big lips and wore a long sleeved green shirt. That was pretty useful information. If she had written that he was just fat, Bianca would have trouble looking for him because that would be vague as shit and there were a ton of fat people. The vampyress stood near the center of town that was marked by a monument. She could see the theater from where she was standing, as well as the bar in town. There were not many bars in Marigold and it was still a little early so there were not many people there yet. It was the same for the theater. She knew that the plays started at six in the evening so it was also early for the theater. There were not many people there too. She looked around, realising that there were not many people in general since it was four and not five which was the usual time that work was over so people would be out and about, either returning to their homes or going out with their loved ones and etcetera. Bianca turned around and walked back into the direction of a ramen shop she usually ate at in Marigold. Bianca liked ramen, as much as she liked cookies. Well not as much, but almost.
As soon as she reached the ramen shop, the waitress knew what she was getting so she just made hand gestures to make sure Bianca was getting her usual, to which the sorceress replied with hand gestures as well to say ‘yes’. Afterwards, she waited patiently for her ramen to be served while she looked through the window beside her. Apparently she could see the bar as well as the theater from her seat through that window. “Very nice,” she mumbled to herself, sipping from the free cup of water that the waiter gave her. She kept her eyes on both the bar and the theater as she could not tell if Shon would be at the bar or the theater. Alice did advise her to go look for him at the bar, but she could not tell if Shon would just suddenly show up at the theater. Although Bianca knew very well that he was not the one behind the threatening letter, she felt like she had to play along not to raise any suspicion from anyone. Her ramen was ready in a while, since it did not take long to make ramen. There were not many customers in the shop too so the waitress stuck around at her table to have a conversation. Bianca ate carefully so that she would not catch the tattoo on her tongue. If she did, she would find out that Bianca was from Phantom Lord, which was a dark guild. People were normally afraid of dark guilds, so that was not good. Not that Bianca was not proud of being a part of Phantom Lord. She did not want everyone she met to be afraid of her, unlike someone she knew, who liked to feed off of other people’s fear - the vampyre in her.
The waitress left her table a while later, Bianca had almost finished her ramen. That was when she noticed a fat guy leaving the bar. He fitted the description that Alice provided perfectly. He was even wearing the long sleeved green shirt, so there was no mistaking. Bianca immediately fished out some jewels from her pockets and dropped them on the table, telling the waiter that she was in a hurry. She might have left a bit more money than what her ramen costed, but it did not matter at the moment. She could not get her eyes off of the fat man and let him get away. Since Bianca had great eyesight being a vampyre and everything, she could see from far away, so she kept her eyes focused on Shon the stalker. The bar was not so far away especially because she sort of broke into a sprint. She slowed down once she got closer to the bar, acting as if she was just walking by until she reached where Shon was standing. He seemed to be getting some fresh air, with a cigarette between his lips that he took in between his middle and index fingers, tapping it so that the ash at the tip fell to the paved sidewalk that he stood on and then put it back between his lips. When she was near him she reached to take the cigarette from his lips and tossed it to the ground, stepping on it to kill the fire. Shon immediately turned to face her, giving her a very angered look as if he was about to kill her for doing such a thing. “What the fuck?” he would ask in tone that she knew he had to control to avoid grabbing attention.
“What the fuck indeed. I’m here tell you to stop trying to contact Alice. It’s clear she doesn’t like you, so stop trying,” she started. She wanted to know what his reaction would be. Would he start crying upon hearing that Alice did not like him back, or would it anger him further? But it turned out to be the latter as Shon groaned and threw his fist at her. Bianca was prepared to react in case he decided to attack her. Alice’s instructions included beating him up as well so she was also prepared to do that. She evaded his heavy fist that was aimed at her face from the side by jumping backwards. She was faster than him, which was sort of obvious given his weight. She had fought a heavy man before as well but that man was trained and was as fast as herself even though he had more weight. “I don’t want to fight. So if you’ll just agree to never contact Alice again, I won’t hurt you,” she said, although she knew that he was not going to listen. He shouted a very loud ‘no’ which did get a few heads turning into the direction. Well, she might as well give the spectators a show. Before Mr. Shon could throw another punch or whatever at her, she would flick her wrist. This would cause thick, sticky blood to seep through the ground beneath Shon’s legs, blood vines growing out of it and grabbing onto him to hold him down.
The vines seemed to frighten him, probably realising only now that he was facing a wizard and not just some ordinary person. His eyes widened slightly as he looked from the vines back to Bianca who was ready with a spear that was created by flicking her wrist once again. It was pointed at the fat man’s neck. “Did you understand my threat? You are forbidden to send any more love letters to Alice. Otherwise,” Bianca said and motioning for her spear so that the tip was just touching his neck, as if to tell him what would happen if he did not listen to her. Shon nodded vigorously, not even able to speak from fear. Bianca dismissed her spells and left him to return to the theater to collect her reward from Alice. She did not bother turning around to see if Shon would try to attack her again. After seeing the wetness in his pants she knew he had given up. Plus he was probably going to run somewhere since people were watching. He probably would not want people to see that he had peed his pants. Bianca walked from the bar to the theater, entering from the back door and walking to Alice’s dressing room. Apparently Alice was not there so she had to wait a few minutes for her to come back. The jump she made when she noticed Bianca did not even surprise the vampyress anymore. She almost did that every time. Alice already knew why Bianca was here, so she simply asked how it went and Bianca told her about everything that happened, even the fact that Shon peed his pants which made Alice laugh a bit and call herself mean for laughing at something like that. Bianca laughed too at how Alice thought she was mean for laughing at someone peeing their pants. After talking about some other things as well, Alice finally paid Bianca for the job. The vampyress thanked her and told her to contact her if she needed anything done in the near future, also telling her that she might be leaving Marigold in a week or two, if not sooner. Alice told her that she would send her a letter as always. Bianca nodded and gave her a smile before leaving the theater.
