Like the last time, she entered through the entrance and walked up all the way to the stage. Since she knew where to find Alice, Bianca just walked straight to that place, meeting Alice who was standing at the same spot reading something, probably her lines. “Hello again,” said Bianca with a smile. She seemed to have surprised the woman because she literally jumped up and backed up a few steps before giving Bianca a shocked expression. She could not help that her footsteps were pretty much silent since she was of the vampire race. “Sorry to shock you,” she said with a nervous laugh.
“Ahh, it’s no big deal! I’m guessing you’re here for the performance request?” Alice asked, catching her breath. Bianca nodded in reply and the brunette woman continued saying, “Lovely! I’m happy that you’re the one who’s helping me again this time. I love working with you.” The vampyress gave her a smile, not saying anything in reply. “Now then, you will be playing Romeo, a male might I add, and here is your script,” Alice told her, handing her some papers. Bianca looked through them. Since she was good at memorizing things and remembering the details, she would have the whole script in her head after reading it all just three times. Alice explained her role and how she would be dressed as a boy so she did not need to worry about not looking like Romeo. Bianca removed the lily over her eye and gave it to Alice, telling her that she should keep it somewhere safe so that someone couldn’t just take it and play with it.
“I’ll take it back after the performance,” she told the brunette lady, deciding to trust her on this. Afterwards, she was left alone to learn her script and practise her acting. Bianca was naturally good at acting, since it was basically a way of lying, which she had mastered since she was a child, pretending everything her entire childhood, every time she was with her parents, who were both dead now by her own hands. The script was not hard to memorize nor was the acting. She was guessing Alice would want to see Bianca act before letting her perform in the actual play, but it seemed she absolutely trusted the vampyress, which was odd but also good for Bianca.
A while later, Alice showed up again like when she was practising with the controls, only this time she was practising her lines. This time she said, “Ah, you are doing well, again,” even though she was not watching Bianca practising or anything. She simply appeared out of nowhere, not even really aware of what Bianca was up to, and said that she was doing well. Bianca did not question anything, she simply nodded with a smile and waited for her to say something else. “The show starts at six as usual! So be ready,” she said with a wink and disappeared again. Bianca continued to practise her lines, not paying too much mind to the awkwardness of the lady. Maybe she was just nervous. Who knew how many other people who were wizards she had hired to work with her for this performance to go well. Since she was more than ready for the play, Bianca went over to the controls place where she had worked the previous time to see who was in charge of it this time. She saw a slim girl with pink hair sitting there, fidgeting with the controls nervously but over and over again as if she was scared she might mess up. The vampyress approached her, watching her for a few seconds before saying:
“Hey.”
The girl jumped out of her seat with a loud screech, worrying Bianca to death. It sounded like death, but thankfully the girl was still alive when she landed on the ground next to the seat. Bianca put her index over her mouth, to tell her to keep it quiet. After a few moments of panting like a dog and staring at the Phantom Lord member with wide eyes like she was the devil, the girl regained her composure and got up to sit in the chair, letting out a long sigh. “What do you think you’re doing?” she asked, glaring up at Bianca who towered over her, even when she stood. Bianca simply asked for her name, and the girl said, “Taya, why?” The vampyress simply nodded and left, leaving Taya totally confused. She had her reasons.
At five fifteen, Alice came back to where Bianca was, this time to get her changed and to apply makeup and everything to make her look like a boy. Bianca did not really enjoy the feeling of makeup on her face, but she had to ignore it for now. The show began at six like usual. Bianca remembered all of her lines and acted perfectly, surprising even herself with how great she was at acting apparently. After the performance was over, she seemed to have impressed everyone since she received a standing ovation from the audience. With a bow, Bianca left the stage together with the others and took of the clothes and wig. She went to the bathrooms to wash off the makeup and returned to where Alice was. She took her lily back and accepted her reward before leaving to go back to her inn.
