Aleksandr finally got off the bed and into the bathroom to take a shower at six. He didn't want to take a shower early in the morning, but he needed to. The need was always superior to the want. Tarkus was still asleep when he exited the bathroom, wrapped up in a towel and with wet hair. He picked up another towel and dried his hair. He put on a white t-shirt and blue jeans after he had dried his hair. All of a sudden his companion jumped on his back. He was a bit taken aback by this but was back to normal after a few seconds. Tarkus climbed onto his shoulders and rubbed his against Aleks', one of the things he liked. It was now half-past six, and he had plenty of time to what he wanted to. Some of the shops would be open by now, where he would eat breakfast. He didn't want to eat here because the restaurants or cafes were closer to the request board's location. He departed from the Bed and Breakfast at quarter-past six and found a café soon. He had a breakfast of pancakes and coffee there. Now it was time to leave for the request board.
It was seven by now, and he had arrived at the request board grounds. He found out that there were very few people here as of now, though that would change as the day would progress. He loved the fact that he wouldn't have to get through many people to take one request. He began searching for an interesting request to uptake and would soon find one. It was by the owner of the 'Mag Drug Shop' of Magnolia, Khalash Saton. Tarkus was still on his shoulders and was refusing to get off. After taking the request paper from the board, he and Tarkus left the grounds for the Mag Drug Shop. They soon reached the Mag Drug Shop. Aleks started looking for his client, Khalash. He finally found him in the shop, and Aleks showed him the request paper. Khalash sighed and said "Alright, so you are the guy who took my request. I'll be out for most of the day. You'll be taking care of the shop in absence, acting as its vendor. Don't leave the shop and do not go into the backroom. Don't break anything."
Soon after, Khalash left the shop in Alek's charge. The blonde felt some responsibility and smiled as he sat on the chair in front of the counter. There was a book on the bookshelf, so he took it and began reading it. He put on his eyeglasses, folded his legs and leaned back comfortably on the chair. The book was the usual romantic comedy, a genre that he found very amusing. He liked the genre ironically. The book was short and at his reading speed, he finished the whole book in an hour. He put it back from where he took it from and sat back on the chair. He would give this book a strong six, light seven. But he only gave it that score because he liked a few characters and the overall premise of the book. The ending was the usual cheesy happy ending with some drama.
Soon after he was finished with the book, a group of teenagers arrived at the shop. He stood up and asked them “Hello, how can I help you?” and the supposed leader of the group, a male, anywhere from 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches. The group ‘leader’ looked like a sixteen-year-old. The leader answered “We want to get into the backroom.” and Aleksandr answered “I’m afraid I can’t let you do that.” the leader replied “We might buy something if you let us see the backroom, who knows.” this made him think for a while and then he answered “The backroom just has skeletons and bodies of dead animals anyway. It’s a pretty smelly place; you’ll probably regret ever deciding to enter. There are also many flammable compounds in there, so any mistakes and you’re burnt. The place also has very old paperwork and spider webs. It has Lizards as well. Do you still want to enter?” the leader shook his head and said “Nah, come on guys. Let’s get out of here.”
After they were gone, Alek took a sigh of relief and sat down on his chair. Around midnight, his client Khalash returned and asked what stuff had happened today. Alek told him everything and the old man rewarded him. They soon parted their ways and Alek went back to the B & B. Tarkus had been taking a nap in the shop when he was taking care of it, so the man had just picked up his companion while he was sleeping and bought him home. He put Tarkus on the bed and fell asleep soon.
