It was nice to take a train for once, Kenny put his pike and helm in the seats not too far from them. He was happy to be on the train and moving on from Oak with his loved ones, though Alyssa seemed like she was stressed about something. Kenny wasn’t one to prod about his lover’s personal affairs, but when she seemed distressed he couldn’t help but worry. The two had taken the back car, it was mostly empty which was good considering that it was a long train ride and they could probably use a quick pick me up before getting off the train. He sat next to her, happily throwing an arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer to him. It seemed like a good time to take a nap, so he yawned as the train began.
“Something to tell me?” he shifted his attention to her with a curious glance, “What is it dear?” he could see the tears in her eyes, was she breaking things off with him? Was there someone else? She spoke about the murders from before, and as she spoke he stifled a sigh of relief as he listened on. He nodded when she finished the question, he was curious about that sword of hers, but he had no clue it was evil. When she spoke about committing the murders Kenny’s arm seemed to fall limp as his eyes widened and his jaw dropped. She was the one who committed the murders? There was no way, it couldn’t be. Yes Lyss and threatened him, but would she go so far as to kill innocents? Kenny couldn’t move, he was paralysed with shock as his eyes widened and his mouth hung open. “Alyssa…” he only spoke her name as he felt his heart sink into his chest.
Eventually he would come to his senses, his mouth closed and he cleared his throat. “Alyssa, thank you for telling me this.” he nodded, he wasn’t sure what else to say, “It means a lot you’d come clean to me, it means we won’t hold anything from eachother.” his tone soon dropped into a casual one, “I am surprised that Lyss would kill innocent people but I do not hate you for it. I Told you I love you two and I meant it no matter what.”
His arm wrapped back around her and pulled her to him, he placed a soft kiss on her lips before gingerly caressing her shoulder allowing her to cry into his garb if she pleased. Whilst she registered his movements he would look out of the window behind her. If that sword really was evil, would it turn on him? "I love you and I always will no matter what happens." If it did it ultimately meant that she would be the one to put him down because he would never raise his hand to her.
