“I will have some hot cocoa with scrambled eggs, bacon and some toast please, thank you,” Seira spoke and smiled at the female cook who was in charge of the kitchen that was part of the inn she had rented a room at. Everyone who lived in this inn was usually eating breakfast down in the restaurant that connected to the same building and it had proven itself to be very delicious. Seira loved it here, not only because it was easy to reach and relatively cheap, but mostly because the atmosphere was very friendly and she could enjoy a meal here any day. The other guests of the inn were mostly travellers, just like her, and Seira assumed that most of them were mages as well. Marigold Town wasn’t exactly a place you would visit for holidays, but rather for a quick stop and some sightseeing before moving on. The bigger, more exciting cities of Fiore were far up north, such as Magnolia Town, Capital Crocus, but also places like Oak. Oak Town was quite mysterious in itself and Seira had heard many things about it, but never visited, mainly because she didn’t want to clash with the local guild—Phantom Lord—which was known to be quite powerful and at times difficult. Besides, if the news outlets could be trusted the so called Cell Games were still going on somewhere in the Sieghart Mountains and Seira had plans to stay away from those as far as possible, because she wasn’t a fighter at all. The girl had absolutely no clue what exactly was going on up there and what the matter was in regards to said games, and who this Cell creature was in first place but the girl decided that she could worry about finding more information later on. The citizens of Marigold were sort of clueless anyways, and no one really knew what was going on either so there was no point in pushing the matter since there wasn’t much she could learn from them. Instead, the girl decided to busy herself here for the time being, find some work and perhaps learn more about the important locals of this city before moving on. Seira’s breakfast arrived and she took some time out from thinking about those troublesome events by eating up and enjoying it thoroughly . It was delicious and she relaxed and started her morning off just how she liked it: slowly and calm. Of course it couldn’t always be that way, Seira absolutely understood that, but while she had the chances to relax she wanted to do it. After finishing her breakfast she got up and decided to go outside. Her next stop would be the request board, where she wanted to check if Farmer Jim had perhaps left her a note saying that he had more work for her. She had already worked for him in the past two days and even though her limbs ached a bit from all that farm work her delicate body wasn’t used to, she didn’t mind it one bit and couldn’t wait for the next job.
