Roman let out a massive yawn upon stepping into the city of Magnolia. His body drooped a bit from the long walk. He stopped periodically but it incurred a bit of a fee. A fee he wasn’t too happy about. At a pit stop he was getting food and a pick pocket brushed past him. A moving shadow that did not give him a chance to react. His pocket was suddenly 10,000 jewels lighter. Which was a bit infuriating to say the least. It was a shame that a thief got over on him, but it was chump change. Thankfully he dumped most of it on his items and wares bought in Era. A nifty sword and helmet that made him look like a spartan in combat. The armor was a bit out of his reach for the moment. Not to mention it was a bit on the bulky side. Due to being in the dead of night he was able to walk casually through the streets of Magnolia towards the train station. His bag was slung over his shoulder and his weapon holstered. The few people who were in the vicinity had their eyes on him. But they went back to their business as the tired Dragon Slayer walked through town.

Not to mention they had bigger problems to worry about. Apparently there was a certain ‘Announcement’ made recently as Roman left the city. A new threat had appeared just after the attempted terrorist attacks occurred. The Era local news was wiped from the face of the planet with the flick of a wrist. Granted it was all rumors Roman picked up from the pit stops on the way too magnolia. He wanted to get back into Oak too actually research the subject. First he needed to answer the call of the Guild Master. It was rude to keep him waiting. The train station was the fastest route, a modern marvel of the magical world. A introduction of advanced machinery that could help with traveling outside of way points. Roman made his way onto the train station dock where he already had the ticket in hand. He made sure to remove the train ticket he got back in Era off the market. A couple days on the train could do him some good. It was better than a week’s worth or more of walking. There was a middle aged man in a conductor outfit waiting at the entrance of the train. “Stub please.”

Roman said nothing but handed him the ticket. He hobbled his way in and found the first vacant spot. He tossed the duffle bag he was lugging around into the chair across from him. Following this he removed his jacket and used it as a blanket. He quicky fell into a deep sleep as the train waited for the last few passengers before boarding.

“All aboard!” It was the last call for passengers. The rather tall dark mage was already sound asleep on the train.
